Very charming place! The lower part is a fairly large bookstore, and the upper area has a cafeteria and restaurant. There are many corners to work comfortably with a laptop or notebooks. The restaurant has a menu, which in principle serves moderate but very good and satisfying quantities, and above all the service is charming and correct. Prices range between 12 and 15 euros depending on whether you have a full menu or main courses and dessert. The tables are just spaced apart for privacy. There is a little terrace full of green but I wouldn't know if it is accessible in winter. Definitely an ideal place to enjoy a nice lunch or coffee!

As a lover of literature and books, obviously a place of reference for me in the city, both for the bookshop and its fantastic selection of titles (a lot of variety, and especially of foreign publishers such as Argentine, Mexican, etc.) and for the Your cafeteria with the beautiful terrace, the fantastic menu they have (excellent value for money) and the service. Ah and the carrot cake from there the best I have tried. 10 everything.

An ideal space for a gathering with coffee in hand. I find it the perfect cafeteria to read, write or work. They could improve their gastronomic proposal for the afternoon. Next time I try the menu for a second a la carte.

One of the best bookstores in Barcelona for lovers of reading. Dependents know about literature (and that's hard to find even in a bookstore) and their cafeteria forces you to want to read at least the first chapter of your purchases with good coffee.

In reality they are two different businesses, since legally it is not possible to locate a restaurant within a bookstore (or the opposite), hence they have different entrances and it is not possible to 'jump' from the bookstore to the restaurant or vice versa from within (Indicate that it is possible to locate a small cafeteria within a bookstore, in Barcelona there are several examples of this.) It so happens that they had the possibility of locating the restaurant just above the bookstore as a result of this singularity. That said, I have never been upstairs (restaurant), but I have been down a thousand times (bookstore) for more than 20 years and the place has a charm amplified by so many memories of dozens (maybe a few hundred) of books that I have there bought scattered around the shelves that now surround me. The offer is oriented to the humanities and something that I love is finding books in different languages all together, for those who handle English or French in particular, the offer is interesting. My recommendation is to enter even if you are not looking for anything in particular because that is when it is easier to find what you did not imagine. Take your time.
