The last place on earth where you expect to find people from Portugal :-) Unfortunately, this place is so overbooked that you have to book several days in advance. We would have loved the outdoor jacuzzi since the view of the bay is breathtaking. Maybe another time !

Small camping site by the sea with a wonderful landscape and a large sandy beach. The place is calm. The staff is really pleasant and very friendly. The kitchen is somewhat underfloored, which I understand completely because the goods have been stolen, which is why those tourists look bad with their behavior affecting the entrepreneur's bag and our other travelers, otherwise the kitchen will work. Slightly cool washrooms. Definitely recommended.

Awesome location with beautiful beaches just in front of the site. Very friendly and helpful staff (ask for hiking trails). Accommodation is simple and very reasonable priced. Cleaning your own apartment afterwards contributes to the low pricing. You don't need anything more but the stunning view you have from the apartments and the camp site. Drive to Andenes in approximately 15 minutes to do a whale safari and stay a few days more to enjoy the surroundings. There are some great hiking trails nearby. Good and free wifi. Next time we go camping and will camp just in front of the beach. It's a beautiful spot.

The location on a beautiful white sand beach is unique. The place is very lovingly designed and decorated. A dip in the hot pool overlooking the sea and the sunset is just amazing. Very nice staff.

Wonderful Campsite with fair prices. The toilets and the showers aswell as the kitchen are clean and organized. They do have Wi-Fi by the reception. If you want to sit in a hot pool then do an early enough (24hrs bevore) reservation!

One of the most beautiful campsites in Norway. In the midnight sun with a grandiose lighting mood that is unparalleled. Sanitary simple, but clean and sufficient. The HotPools especially at midnight sun unique. We have been here many times and will be back. I would like to award 6 stars.

very nice place for a camping. two separate areas. the area facing the white sand beach does not have electricity and the price is also less. area across the main road has electricity and facing the mountains. wash rooms, kitchen are very clean and the facilities are sufficient for the capacity of the camp site. i recommend this place

Very nice. Beautiful view. On the sea side, there is no electricity. All the hot pools were booked out. But we took the sauna in the morning (where you can go into the sea, and also watch the sea from within the sauna), which was very nice. You need to pay extra for the showers (2 for 5min or so; 10min free if you book the sauna).

Quite decent room, but the receptionist is rude. After we had paid for a tent, we were told that the shower cost NOK 20 per 5 minutes. (This was after we had paid!) The price for hot water is understandable, but she could have said this first - we felt cheated. We bought five tokens for two people (10 mins each + 5 mins in case). She was rude enough to say it was a lot, and she has nothing to do with it (when we actually pay for it) .. Maybe we should shower the next day too? When we arrived at the shower we were greeted by a mountain of hair and shit on the floor - no trash can. In addition, the tent site was far to go to the nearest toilet or facility in general. To you who want wifi, it was bad, also in the reading room. Also no coverage at the tent site in general. The view is lovely, but we left with a bad taste in the mouth.

Cozy campsite with nice tent areas. Perfect location. Good standard in service houses, great shower conditions with room for the whole family at the same time. Nice service. Own kitchen for cooking food, reading room and living room. Could advantageously be the opportunity to buy simple food / drinks in the place.

Perfect on paper but once there we come back to our enthusiasm. First point: We booked a room equipped with a kitchen and a shower for the price of a hotel room and had the pleasure of having had to clean up when we left ... a campsite will you say to me either but in this case the price is supposed to be related to the service. NB: you also have to pay for your sheets (150 Nok or a little more than 15 Euros as well as the towels that we had fortunately planned but at the same price I imagine). Second point: The smell. Yes because at the beginning we put it on the backs of the algae ... but which after reflection does not smell on the other beaches ... It is therefore in our opinion a problem with the canalization of the campsite but believe me it significantly harms the experience of the walk on the beach. In the end, you pay here for the frame ... rather expensive.

Average standard and condition, but with a great view on the sea. The special unique selling point is, that this is maybe the only (camping) place in Norway where you have to pay a baby as an extra person when you rent a cabin. The little more rubbish because of a baby produce doesn t seem to produce a so big effort for the camping place.

This place deserves at least 5 stars for its location - incredibly beautiful here. We had one of the apartments in the "barn" and that is quite ok. No luxury, but perfectly fine. Toilets and showers are all right. It More

Simple camping with uneven ground that you expect in Norway. Nice view with wonderful scenery, there are hot water hot tubs but they cost 500 SEK to use no one who used them when we were there.

A cosy place, with an amazing beach to walk along or even try and dare to swim. The place is windy as you can expect in this part of the world, but you can find comfort in the open-air hot tubs.

Highlights: The beautiful location on the white sandy beach is unique! For those of us who do not venture into the cold sea, the campsite offers six hot pools (definitely try it!). The cabins are small but very functional and clean. Lowlights: The prices are more at the top. Conclusion: The many tourists go to the Lofoten. We recommend the Stave campsite. Simply fantastic!

This place was suggested to me by a friend. I can understand that people like this place. To me it was ok. I wasnt informed at the arrival that you need to book the hot pools. So when we were turned round from our way to the pools and told that we need to book the pools in advance and unfortunatey on that day all pools were booked already i just felt like i paid for it but didnt get the experience. Plus the queues to the showers are long. It is a nice place, with windy and beautiful beach but i feel its a bit overrated.

The camp is situated in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever visited with a beautiful beach right in front of the camp. The camp is fairly simple. We have stayed in one of the cabins and it was ok though simple. The staff was friendly. Didn't like the shared facilities though as there is only one shower per sex which is not enough for a camp of this size. Also you need to walk through the shower facilities to get to the toilets so you have to take off your shoes every time you go to the toilet which is an inconviniece. Maybe an idea for the owner for future development. We have used the hot pools as well and though fairly expensive it was well worth it. Only would appreciate a shower after the pools included in the price as it was cold outside and would be good to have somewhere to wash and put on the clothes.

A wonderful place with direct access to the sea. If you need electricity, you have to quarter on the square above the street, without electricity you can stay overnight directly on the dune facing the sea. However, both places are great. Very friendly team on site, clean sanitary and common rooms. The kitchen is lovingly designed and, together with the separate lounge, can withstand strong winds in a good mood. The hot pools are located in small grass hills with a direct view of the sea, unique if you are looking for some warmth and relaxation. It was a great night for us and we would come back anytime. Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Nice campsite right on the beach. Because we do not need electricity, we could be at the beach by car. I think a lot, so the feeling temperature was also very low. Furthermore, a beautiful view and excellent facilities. You pay separately for the shower. New kitchen available for cooking and / or eating. Recommended!

Great location! Not too crowded. Purely. Unfortunately only one sink when washing dishes, which means you have to WAIT. Shower with good heat. Needed hooks to hang towel and clothes when missing. Trampoline visited by screaming gaping children far too late in the evening. Disturbing! Otherwise a very good campsite.

We booked a cabin at short notice, since we wanted to come with a van, even the short-term booking was no problem! The campsite is in a great location, only one street separates you from the sea. The kitchen is newly made, the sanitary facilities were clean. The cabin is very basic, but ok for a night or two. The highlight was definitely the hot tubs! One of our best experiences on our journey!

This is a quiet and very beautiful place with a fantastic sandy beach just below. We stayed in a room called "Shipwreck". It was a large room with kitchen, bunk bed and sofa and armchair with great views. In addition there was a separate bedroom with a bunk bed and a huge bathroom. Everything seemed newly refurbished and all the equipment was new and nice. We stayed here for 2 nights. We also took a jacuzzi on a terrace with a great view of the sea. The place is highly recommended.

Extremely unwelcoming receptionist. We just arrived at the campsite and parked our car in front of the reception and just took a short walk around to see the area and if it is possible to set up our tent since it was very windy and we took a look at the hot pools they have since we came to this camp in particular to try them if it was possible. Suddenly an angry lady from the reception came out opening the reception back door in a very scary way and screaming in a very impolite way saying what are you doing! Did you even come to the reception! Come out you are not allowed to be here. It is only for guest. Sadly she lost 2 customers because we decided to stay over the night but with her attitude we had to drive back to the neighboring campsite. If you treat your customers this way, then you shouldn t be working as a receptionist.

Beautiful location. Hot pots and beach sauna are a nice feature, but make sure to book in advance. Facilities of the campsite itself are basic, much below standard at other Norwegian, let alone continental European camp sites. Makes a nice one night stop on a route, but does not invite for a longer stay.

Be prepared to personally face the owner of the campsite - a real American cowboy. Only he will hunt for you and your money, especially if the weather is bad outside. The nearest campgrounds are located far away and there are very few competitors in this place.

Terrible place. Cold and extremely windy all year round. This makes for great business - the owners (american) charge double for the showers (20 Kr. for 5 minutes), they also charge for hot water for washing dishes (I've never seen this in any other camping sites). Showers (1 cabin for males, 1 for females) are closed from 11 am to 2 pm (or was it 4 pm ??). On the other hand, if you're dying to see the arctic sunset (or midnight sun for that matter) while sitting in (artificial) hot pools and you're lucky enough to be there on a sunny day and you've booked one of the 5 available cabins beforehand (or you've arrived in a camper/caravan, cause setting up a tent in freezing wind isn't very pleasant), it just might be worth it...

TR Family stayed at this camp for one night. The campsite has two options, sea view and mountain view, but all have great views. The turf is very suitable for tents. The bathroom and kitchen are good. There is free WiFi and hot water. Bathing takes 20kr/5min, it is very recommended to travel to Andoya to travel this camp!

Adequate and one of the few options in the area. Unfortunately has a rather curt and condescending receptionist especially towards freedom camper. We were the only people using the facilities so crowding the campsite was but an excuse for prejudice. There is really no need to shut down 20 min early and insinuate insult if someone is only paying to shower and not to stay. Left a bad taste on an otherwise beautiful country and people. Update: A more reasonable response might be to offer a paid shower, and paid facility usage separately rather than being unanimously judgmental.

It was a nice place, perfectly clean rooms, nice staff (but who couldn't speak Norwegian), decent facilities at the campsite. But the price here could have been halved! We got a whole house at almost the same price in Lofoten, so we had expected a little more here.
