one of biggest regrets in life, move in to the hollywood unit only 3 months ago and theres no a single day i dont feel stressed out. there are literally homeless by my window, which i cant open anymore and the management couldn't care less. a homeless man BROKE INTO my apartment two weeks ago. super safe, like the assured huh???

If I could give it ZERO stars, I WOULD. This is about their 4205 Council St. apartments. They will raise their rent 5% each year. The apartment is OLD and filled with cockroaches.

I ve had them sprayed my apartment many many times, and all of them were in vain. It s the building itself, the roaches have nested in the building structure.

Fyi, the apartment doesn t come with a refrigerator- and they charge extra per month for it.

There s no refrigerator because the roaches would nest in there. My refrigerator that I had bought were filled with roaches after just a few months.

The walls are paper thin- expect to be hearing your neighbors conversation, and they don't even have an elevator.

So moving in and out, and also getting groceries were horrible.

All of these major problems yet they have the audacity to increase their rent each year.

thank you everyone for the reviews.... something has to change where the management companies are held accountable, you sign a lease and thats it your screwed... no accountability u have roaches too bad, a hole in the ceiling too bad..... im sorry all off you who are having bad experiences, but it makes me think twice before checking these places out..so thank you.. I'm looking at an apartment I get excited it's the right location, the right price, and then I see the reviews for the management company, and my whole opinion changes and I get disappointed and sad, and of course there's no response to any of these comments from the management company, like they have no intention of correcting any of these faults... I only left a review of three stars because I have no experience with these guys have no personal review negative or positive just put a rating so I can express my opinion here

This review is for the studio apartments I looked into, located at 1425 N. Alexandria. I met Perla who showed me two nice units. I found a lower priced unit on Apartments.com, but was not shown that unit. In fairness, I did not ask when I saw the units available.

My concerns about renting were the lack of parking (street parking only), and the requirement for a $100,000 tenant purchased rental insurance policy. I do not know if this is standard practice here in Los Angeles. I am originally from New York City.

There was no mention of this requirement in the ad.
This was stated in the rental contract I received, which I did not complete. The costs could potentially come to a few hundred dollars per year! I wonder if each potential tenant receives the same rental contract requirements?

Decided on a studio at 901 Irolo st. They gave it to somebody else after taking my $45. Jose, who was showing me the apartment, reassured me the money would be refunded, and that they hadn't ran my credit yet. After Jose convinced me to check out other properties he tells me I aint getting my money back AND they ran my credit. Called the supervisor, Emily, who could care less about wether they look like thieves or not. Of course that did nothing for me (: y'all suck.

A number of the property managers are very rude, and EXTREMELY unprofessional. Apartment was infested with Roaches and Mice, the lights & fan would flicker on and off by itself and the walls were paper thin. You could hear all sorts of conversations happening in every floor of the building at the same time. I've had mail that was supposed to come to me literally stolen off the premises and no-one has done anything about it, and at the point where I was about to leave, the front door of the building had been ajar for several weeks with no way to be able to lock it. Also now that I've left, I've been waiting for my security deposit to be returned for the past 2 months(they told me initially that it would only take 2 weeks). This place is a hot mess, DEF avoid going there if you can.

I was a potential resident. I viewed the studio that wasn't ready for move in. I was told I could get the downstairs studio. So I paid for a $45.00 credit check. Then when I received a confirmation email, it had another unit number on it. I call , they said oh don't worry about that you can just change it to the unit you wanted. They lied they had already given the place awayto someone else. Someone else called me three days later and so, oh you can apply your application to the second floor or the 3rd floor unit, but the second floor unit is much smaller. Do I agreed to the 3rd floor. Then today I received an denial letter because of my credit score.
If this company keep collecting monies for credit checks of $45.00 when a credit check is ran for free. They got a smooth side business.
My fault I should have read the reviews by the other tenants. Roaches and bird's nest and roofing falling in and leaking and not being fixed.
It's a shame how people are talking advantage of folks who need a place to live.
I will solve my problem by buying a small home.
