Dcf is in this building we went to a different office

Should be zero stars allowed to leave review. Awful government dept. What s the point of calling in a report if they don t do unannounced visits!?!?! Sure give the abusive parent time to clear up or get rid of evidence being reported. Psychological abuse is neglect AND ABUSE! DCF needs to be better educated!

DCF: Get rid of incompetent employees in your entire statewide agency. (There are many of them who are completely incompetent and should not be working for you) Make the families and children who you supervise stronger by coming up with policies that actually work. Your current approach to running the entire agency, statewide is totally ineffective!!

That doctor's office is really good and the doctors are really nice there.

My daughter is missing she ran away from her temporary guardian Nazareth Vyraven. Basically my daughter ran away from Nazareth numerous times let's say this is the 18th time. This woman has been mentally and physically abusing my daughter she done it to her own kids DCF and police won't do anything but send her back to the woman. Where she is not safe . And they know this woman has a long history of abuse and neglect and still won't remove my daughter, this woman been obsessed with my daughter since the day she was born. And crazy thing about it she has DCF on her side. My daughter wants to be back home with me and her family...And my daughter is reaching out for help. Because DCF and police does not care!!! This is straight Craziness!!!! Nazareth Vyraven saying anything my daughter is fine talking about she in need of her meds she has been drugging my daughter ,she wants her family trying to make it seem like my daughter is a trouble child. So she can send her somewhere far to some hospital. Where no one will be able to see her

My nephew is suppose to reside with his mother. About two weeks ago an incident occur, where the mother friend pointed at my brother and his son with a gun "& the gun had a laser". My brother made the police report and the officer that took his and his son statement told him not to return his child to his mother until this matter in resolve. Keeping in mind DCF is already involved. My brother left a message for the social worker on 07-05-17 he was told she will return his call. On 07-05-17 we call the after hour number, the lady that took the message stated she was sending an email to the social worker, the supervisor and the coordinator and he should get a call back on 07-06-07. On 07-06-17 he goes to the DCF office in Long Wharf at 08:00am to speak with the Social Worker. The receptionist call her and he speaks with her over the phone. She told him she is out of the office and will not be coming back until Friday. He ask to speak with a supervisor or somebody else that could help, the receptionist told him he has to wait for the social worker to call him back on 07-07-17. It is 02:03pm on 07-07-17 and the social worker hasn't even made an attempt to contact him. The mother is receiving food stamps, she does not want to give him the child's clothing, he doesn't have insurance has everything is under her name and she's not willing to give him the insurance card. This child needs psychology evaluation ASAP and here we have the social workers, receptionist, supervisors and coordinators not giving a damn about this child welfare but when there presence is not did needed there they are ruining someone's life.. This is why this world is losing so many innocent childrens.

The job they do is lack luster. They don't care about the children in their care beyond the number in the system. There are very good social workers but not enough. And, there are not enough foster or adoption parents.

The parking lot is confusing, but the doctors are the absolute best, so it's still worth it.

Only went there for iq tests for my child, but the service was excellent

The entire department should be decimated. Corrupt, lying, manipulative crooks & frauds.

Judge mental Environment. Air is thick and smells bad

The ride there is worth the deal...cheap rates but they are slacking in services...kinda need to take new lessons...MR JL

Ample parking but the spots are tightly packed. Lots of amenities but the signage inside is not as helpful as it could be, so know the suite number of the office you re going to beforehand. Has a small cafe!

Dcf is terrible ! My daughter is being abused by her mom and I have so much proof and doctors records. Lori McLaughlin is a sorry excuse of a person. All they care about is a paycheck and not the childs well being!
