All of the sellers are very kind and very respectful .Everyone really is so comfortable .I 'm very much interested in the big shop, so I' m always interested. I love the bookstore and gaming department. but you have to be sorry for the price, but you have to go in.I am confident that you will be able to provide you with all the comfort you have. thanks for Mongolian department store
It's what we needed before travelling in freezing temperatures. Here you can buy good gear for your travels. It's not cheap.
Worthy to visit especially you are looking for gifts, cachmere clothes. You can find most of the things you might think of.

Salespersons eating their own goods (saleswoman eating grapes and spitting the seeds). I guess that is the Mongolian barbarian nature coming to light ;)
This used to be the only Department Store in all of Mongolia. Nowadays, not anymore, thus I would recommend going to other Department Stores, such as KHANBURGEDEI, Ulaanbaatar or Max Mall.
It's okay, but would add some more security guards for a more safe feel, cuz every type of person visits it

There is a souvenir shop on the top 6F. Recommendation is sea berry chocolate. It is the most convenient place where you can buy sim or exchange money

Not air conditioned so it's super hot during summer. There are many branded stores and sometimes they have decent sales. For foreigners looking to buy mongolian cashmere and wool products, this is the place to go to as it's located in the city center and they have a bunch of different cashmere brands at one location.

This place had many options for shopping. I came to exchange dollars to local currency, then later came to pick up food to eat at the grocery store. There is a restaurant and many small name brand shops with open counters. I did not go upstairs but was told there is a souvenir shop there.

Great department store. They have all kinds of stuff, but Mongolian store on the last floor where they sell nationally produced goods is must for all tourists to visit.
You need to decrease the amount of people who is standing around and doing nothing, does not look good to the customers.

Old national department store. A classic spot for tourists to purchase souvenirs. Basically you can't speak anything but Mongolian, but if you just shop, you won't be bothered. Many of the foods are made in Korea and China, but Japanese products are also imported.
