Sellers and employees are just a little excited about it
There's everything
It's expensive
Well, then, tourists will go
one of the best department store in the city there has everything you need
This is the place to go for all your Mongolian souvenirs.
Thank you for repairs to the national department store clock.
Okay, there is a currency exchange center, located on the 5th floor of a craft store.
The state department store is the oldest department store in the city. It has 6 floors and each floor consists of certain product category. You'll find jewelry and currency exchange on the first floor as well as grocery section. The 2nd and the 3rd floors sell men, women and children's clothes. 4th floor sells household stuff and 5th floor has electronics. On the top floor, you'll find all kinds of souviners. It is a place that you'll find almost everything but sometimes some things are little bit pricier compared to other stores. If you prefer convenience, pay a visit to this store.
Mash sain Xudaldaanii tuv shuu Amjilt xuseye Zoxion baiguulalt mash sain Uragshaa zaluusaa
An English Cut to the Mongolian. There is practically everything
Shop assistants who do not speak English and are not interested in selling the products on display. As a department store, the evaluation is positive but the negative effect of the staff penalizes the success.
I used to think that it is the #1 store in UB. But now it isn't. Anyways its a megastore though.
Clean. There are a variety of goods, but the prices are relatively high.
A former, state-owned department store in Ulaanbaatar. It is a retro and showa-like department store. There is a supermarket at the back of 1F, so it might be good to find local souvenirs. You can see the outside from the window on the upper floor.
[Burned]
There is nothing wrong with that, but some goods are too expensive.
Has everything in need not too crowded price is okey
Food court- 7th floor
Won't ever go to Empire food court. Yesterday I found long hair in my udon noodle. One of my friend also told me that they put leftover soup into new soups !!! Food is also not so good. There are way better options around that neighborhood.
However for the shopping wise, I like the overall the store which got pretty much everything.
It is a department store but it is about the size of a small shopping mall. Things do not seem so diverse.
Good selection. Bit overpriced. Good for tourists. One stop shop
6 floors of shopping, anything you'd need is here, including nice Mongolian Souvenirs on the top floor!
It is a great store having all kinds of stuff you need.It is having a Pizza hut also.A must visit store of UB,Mongolia
shopping center . The largest supermarket in the city. They sat almost everything. On the top floor there is a huge Mongolian souvenir shop.
Great place for shooting you can find everything that you re looking for
The oldest department store in UB. Come with a good supermarket and lots of shopping options
Mongolian souvenirs including cashmere and leather goods on 6th floor. WC is on 3rd floor. A large variety of local and foreign goods available across the 6 floors of shopping including a supermarket on 1st floor. The prices of food and souvenirs seem to be cheaper than tourist attractions that we have visited.
quite everything to find what u need to buy. bit expensive maybe
One of few place to offer great selection for everything in cozy environment. But if you are not ready to pay 30 plus percent more, and okay to go crowded market, Narantuul market has almost same selection
You can buy almost anything you want here. The place is very clean, very welcoming. The service is great.
A book shop/library, stationary store and a souvenir shop on the 6th floor. (I mainly shop here. Although the stationary store doesn't have dotted or blank paper journals, if you are looking for them, I'd would recommend going to a store that is quite near this one.)
Edit: After being in UB for three weeks now in 2016 I'm sorry to tell you all locals this... but SDS is more expensive in most categories than American or European alternatives. A simple glass costs (with a good exchange rate in 2016) over 5 EUR. Leather shoes several hundred dollars, a shirt 60 EUR. Want some weights? 12.5 kg are about 80 EUR. I payed 16 EUR for that in Stuttgart Downtown Germany.
The decoration in the flower store are ok though. That's about it.
Mongolian TSUM Large selection of goods. Currency exchange on the 1st floor. The top floor is a huge souvenir shop with goods for every taste and wallet.
I have a lot of money.
There's a souvenir shop on the sixth floor.
They stole hobo shoes and are selling it for 250000 ye boi bought these manz
One of the nice shopping store, good selections and good quality products.
Currently in construction due to recent fire. But first floor is in business.
If you are in Ulaanbaatar city, you should go shopping here. There are hand made souvenirs and leather bags. Moreover cashmere products which is made in mongolia. You will love it. Supermarket is in first floor. book store is in 6th floor. There are outdoor, children's , shoes, bag, home appliances , mobile phones etc various items.
too fancy and exoensive, but you can find really good cashmere there.
Formerly this was the only department store in the city. Now it is a modern store, of all of the global brands. On the top floor there are some items aimed at tourists.
Great selection of goods, especially souvenirs on the 6th floor
