Great experience. Extremely helpful staff. We had some time to kill before the movie and the gentleman working the counter had a couple spare video game coins laying around and he gave them to my son. Super nice guy. Very much appreciated his help.
This place is so dirty. It smells like vomit and the carpets are all stained with what also looks like vomit. I won't go anymore cuz it makes me ill just thinking about it.
An older but decent theater. It is never crowded and there are several restaurants right there.
Thank you for the new seats, paint and carpet. It looks so much better. I would rather stay in town then drive somewhere else.
It's ok if you don't feel like diving. It needs a major remodel. The theater curtains are in tatters held together by duct tape. My last visit had the staff bragging about the years of experience she had before starting our movie 5 times. Including the wrong movie once.
The artwork there is exquisite and two of my favorite restaurants are there. They could work a lot more on cleanliness however. I did hear though that they are redoing the entire theater so that's a plus!
The audio and video are good, but it just feels dirty. I'm sure they don't get as much business or bring in the money as a lot of other movie theaters, but if they can't afford to replace the carpet to the different theater entrances that they would at least get a steam cleaner and try to clean it.
Ok, let's start off with the 2 guys working the place did a great job. With that said, the place is under staffed. The ticket counter isn't utilized or staffed, so you get your tickets at the concession stand and wait for people to not only by a ticket but also to buy their snacks. There's duct tape holding the carpet on the stairs together. The fabric on the walls looks like it's about to fall off. If the rest of the place looks this bad, when were the seats cleaned last? The men's room hasn't any soap, and my wife asked if I could get her a hand towel because of the fact there weren't any in the ladies room. We won't be back.
Great community gathering space. Check out all the murals. Many first run movies with a decent schedule, including matinees. Restaurants are convenient and allow for dinner and a movie without having to navigate another location. There's also a classic arcade with killer air hockey table...
I have been going to this theater for 2 years now off and on with my family and I really enjoy it. We like to hang out in the arcade before the movie starts. The staff have always been nice.
Theaters are a bit run down, but I love the interior area outside the theaters! Such a neat feeling with the murals and indoor "outdoor" dining. Almost like the interior restaurant of Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland!

The theater is completely transformed! All new seats and carpet, along with way better popcorn! Now we don't have to go to Marysville! So happy they fixed up our theater! Go check it out! Awesome experience.

Update June 2018: The suggestions seemed to have worked. Some of the theaters have new carpets, seats, everything. Now if we can only get a clean bathroom!
Update: when Faraway Entertainment took over, I had high hopes. It is a great small town theater and we are damn lucky to have it. But it is dirty. Bathrooms are gross. Half the seats don't flip up. Smells like cheap cologne. I would pay an extra dollar if I thought they would reinvest in the place.
Clearly people need to chill out about the paint! They are doing it as we speak.... And the chairs fit an average size adult! If your butt don't fit shrink it or go someplace else! Locals come here to see a movie not critique the wall color!!
Good restaurants and a nice movie theater for a small town
Great Bargain local theatre. If your looking for A deluxe AMC this ain't it. But if your looking for local town great place this is it. Might be outdated, but love our Stanwood Cinema....
Good little cinema. Seats are a little worn, but they are friendly and typically not crowded.

Sort of dark but nice and quiet with good food options
We love having a local theatre available to us...but it is in such disrepair that we have sometimes decided to drive greater distances to find a warmer, cleaner, more comfortable theatre experience.
This is a wonderful neighborhood theater! Great place for rainy day matinees!
I like the pavilion but the theatre needs a makeover
I take issue with some of the negative comments made about Stanwood Cinema. While not being a glitzy showcase, the cinnamon and the pavilion a a true local treasure and the murals are truly phenomenal. I,m sure that those of us who reside in the Stanwood/Camano region appreciate what it represents. I can recommend the value of seeing the Pavilion, even if you don't see a film. If you do, the theater seats are quite clean and very comfortable

Theater is much improved from a few years ago. Nice comfortable seats, at least in screen 1 room. Good place to watch movies and there are a couple of restaurants inside the same building.
This is a great place. I really like places with interesting themes and they have done a really good job of creating an outside feeling. You have restaurants, an arcade, and a movie theater and they it setup so it feels like your walking down a street at night. Fantastic. I took away one star because the theater is short staffed some times which can be a pain.
Took the kids to Tom and Jerry. So thankful they are open and serving patrons again. Was very happy to go spend almost $100 for a movie at a local business.....just would have like SOME sort of pleasant customer service during our visit. The gentleman running the ticlets/concessions seemed very unhappy to be there and was pretty unfriendly. Big bummer
The cinema is great, but the best part is Amigo Mexican Restaurant! Awesome food, friendly service, and the prices are very reasonable! Give it a try!
