When you enter this building you can't help to look at all of the detailed wood work throughout the whole place. Being in this building makes you feel like you are in a different place. Very beautiful inside and out.

This place is absolutely stunning. We were here for a school band concert on March 13th. Not only does the main auditorium boost beautiful architecture, the women's bathroom is pretty and cozy. Everything was clean. The seating was comfortable. There was even an attendant at the main entrance to open the door for us.
This venue is a fine old building from Youngstown's heyday! The numerous steps of the front entrance are in need of repair or replacement for asthetic purposes. The huge, multistoried front pillars are impressive. Inside, a lovely staircase leads to the upper level where the seats for the main stage auditorium are. Further steps lead up to the balcony which U-shapes around both sides and back. There is also an elevator. The seating is cramped for most modern-sized people today, reminding me of airline seating. The seats themselves had comfortable cushioning, and weren't lumpy nor worn out. The accousics are adequate in that most musical numbers were pleasant to listen to. Some spoken words were hard to understand. Parking is free with two large lots. Worth going.
Most beautiful architectures piece of history. I have been honored to be a part of the history singing in the Stambaugh Chorus twice over the past 35 years.
Show was great getting there was a problem traveling north there was absolutely no help I sat in a line of traffic for a half an hour and was late there were cars coming from the north that all went ahead of me.
Attended Opera Western Reserve's "Lucia de Lamermoor". Such a beautiful facility, great staff/volunteers, comfortable seats. We had a great night. The performance was fantastic and the orchestra was exceptional. Love love loved the flautist.
It's a wonderful place. It was very clean. The flow from entering the building to finding my seat was easy. The workers are very courteous. I love the experience and plan on attending more shows there.
The samba Auditorium is one of the finest design auditoriums in the area. It is had some of the big name celebrities performed there. The Acoustics is wonderful and it is a beautiful setting.
I wanted to buy the building for a day for my wedding ....02/02/2020 or 02/22_2020 I was told that the front of the building would be being renovated at the time and I CHOOSE to not move forward because come to find out this establishment needs 5 million in order to have the reconstruction ls necessary I will say the employees I spoke with were extremely nice
Very impressive! HUGE columns and very awesome looking stone work. This place is built like a tank. I saw they had Fallout Shelter sign right up front!! Parking lot was pretty small. I would definitely make sure to get out here early to find a parking spot
Stunning historical building. We recently saw the Celtic Women show and it was great! The auditorium was conducive to the orchestra playing and I liked how the seats are a reasonable size. You don t feel too crammed in there even when the show is sold out. Parking fills up very quickly though but we parked on the street in front for free.
Always the perfect venue! A landmark in the heart of Youngstown. Perfect for meetings, weddings and fund raising events large and small. Check out the concert schedule, especially the Bands at the Baugh!
The staff was friendly & the building was stunning. I attended the Bush concert and had such a great time. The seats were comfy, though we didn't stay in them long. My only complaint is I saw no security. People several rows back rushed the rail. Even a lady who had front tow seats ended up behind a bunch of people. Possibly they aren't used to rock concerts. Still, I would make the drive again.
Not suitable for a ballet. The seating was horrible. We couldn't see past the heads in front of us. If by chance we could catch a glimpse of the stage, the band director blocked the dancers on the stage. Our visibility was terrible.
