Bought grand children the book "The 3 Snow Bears" to prep them for the play we attended here. All of this was their Christmas present. We get notified that the story would be changed about 2 weeks prior to show. No refund offer that I saw. The story and message was a little more teen/adult oriented. Made for quite an expensive flop of a Christmas present. Took them all to Cherry Berry after to try to make up for the disappointment of not seeing the story they were read and they expected. The facility is a very nice facility. I just think they should not change the story line on people who have spent money on tickets.

10/10 would recommend! Took a class of preschoolers to a play there this morning & LOVED it. Very interactive & engaging. Stages also has sensory free, Sign Language interpreted, & "Pay what you can" showings. So important! What a great place!

Had our kids take a class that they didn t finish or reschedule and was sent a sorry letter instead of a refund which we were due. Not good customer service. Stub-hub and Guthrie and others all offered refunds even for partial closures. Will no longer be supporting stages financially since it s a one way street!

So great! Fantastic live theatre for kids of all ages. The shows are the perfect length for even the wiggliest of all worms. Nobody bats an eye if you have a kiddo that makes noise (happy or upset). It's a true gem.

We've taken our young kids to several performances and each has been a positive experience for the full family. The shows have been well done and after each one there has been an opportunity to meet the entire cast which is always the highlight. There are no bad seats (We usually sit in the balcony) and the theater provides boosters to help kids keep their chairs folded down and to give them a little more height to see better.

Took my nephew to see Bear Snores On, not Broadway, but to an antsy 5 year old it was a great way to introduce him to theatre and still very enjoyable as an adult. Definitely a must when introducing a child to theatre.

Great theatre featuring great plays, and an excellent place to take your kids. While not as polished as the MN Children's Theatre, your kids will love it. Check their schedule, as there's always some recognizable characters on there.

This place is a gem! I took my daughter (5 years) to see Owl Moon. Yesterday, I took my daughter and son (2 years) to see Inch by Inch. IMPRESSIVE. I can t compliment this theatre enough. Inch by Inch was geared towards 5 and under and it exceeded my expectations. Extremely interactive and personal. I can t wait to take my children to more performances. Tickets are reasonable for the high quality performances, but there are also performances in which you pay what you can. They make effort to allow everyone the chance to access this amazing theatre and experience.

Love this small theatre! We have seem many plays here and they are well done. They've allowed a single mom be able to expose her kids to a wonderful art that we may not otherwise been able to afford due to their "open door" program.

We love stages theatre! We love being able to introduce our son to theatre at a young age and he really enjoys going to plays. We have been to more expensive shows at the Children's Theatre, and while there is a difference in the production value of shows between Stages and the Children's Theatre, the shows at Stages have been great and the price is much more affordable! My son loves to meet the actors at the end of each show and they are so kind to the kids. We'll definitely be back for more shows!

I took my three year old to a birthday party. What a great place! The show was well done, my daughter LOVED it.

After the show, the birthday party was in one of the conference rooms upstairs. This was a great setting for a kids birthday.

I took my 3 year old granddaughter to The Three Snow Bears in Cambridge, MN. This play was probably the worst I have seen. You tried to tie in all the environmental issues. do you think the kids would understand what you are saying at that age. All the kids in the audience were restless because to be honest, the story line was NOT even told. You side tracked and Alooki wasn't looking for her dogs like the book, there was no going into the igloo to taste the breakfast, to see the furry boots, to fall asleep and the bears show up and find her. It was nothing like the book. I would be so disappointed if I were the author of the book! as to how this was performed.

I saw a rendition of holes. I read the book as a child and the children actors they had did a good job. I like that your close in to what's happening and that's not too big that you're detached. This is a great concept it makes you feel involved. Rather than feeling like you're watching a performance you feel like you're part of the story. This is a positive thing for the community in this area. The best play I've ever seen by far though is The Wizard of Oz at Osceola High School. Remarkable.

The productions are always entertaining and well rehearsed. The lobby has things to look at related to the show. The entire experience is very kid friendly. Ample public parking nearby and a few restaurants.

Beautiful architecture, great plays and educational programs, and wonderful location in downtown Hopkins. They don t disappoint in any areas! This is also a great place for field trips as well, with kid-friendly shows.

I have been to several plays at Stages and have never been disappointed. There isn't a bad seat in the house and the quality of the performances are always consistently well done. They are extremely accommodating and allow young children to be included in a lap seating arrangements as well as boosters for those who are old enough to be seated alone. Better yet the pricing is extremely affordable. I highly recommend making this a regular outing with the family.

Very kid friendly and nice place. I reccomend you bring the whole family. Prices are reasonable. The place has a really cool art museum located with in. We really enjoyed out time before the play. The show was great.

Highly recommend.

Stages may not have the best actors, but the director always finds a way to send a message to the audience. They always make you think after the show is over. What I like best is how much people they can include in one play for youth and how they all get pretty decent roles.

Stages Theatre is truly a gem! My dad used to take all the grandkids to shows when they were younger and it was the perfect way to get them all to fall in love with theater. Now my 4 kids have all been in productions at Stages and I cannot say enough about the positive experiences they have had. As an audience member, volunteer, and parent of kids in the show every experience I have had with Stages has been stellar!

Love this theater. Shows are always entertaining and well done. I have loved bringing my daughter and niece and nephew here over the years. The cost is a little high for a one hour show but the $10 ticket deals make it more affordable and if you are in a military family they have $2 tickets available. Easy parking across the street in a free parking ramp.
