Cinema is just lovely. Small and perfect. They are following all the covid-19 guidelines. Really enjoyed it

A nice place to watch a film with comfy seats. A pleasant change from the big chains.

Havnt been to the cinema part or the theatre but what is good is that they have a nice quiet cafe upstairs with a little play area so I can have a quiet drink while my daughter can play.

Took our grandchildren to see Snow White, great time had by all

The best panto I've ever seen. Laughed so much that I cried. My husband loved it too and he is very hard to please. Yes, the seats are tight, 6ft person will struggle by hey hoo, was well worth it

the seats whilst being comfortable are not raked enough so you cannot see all the screen because of the heads in front of you..also it was uncomfortably hot ..film was good but couldn't wait to get out ..shan't be going back..

Loved The Stag you must go see Voodoo Room they are great if your into Cream, Clapton and Hendrix!!

Independent cinema and theatre. Always worth the money for a local gem. It may not have all the bells and whistles like chain cinemas, but it's got it's own charm in a cute, intimate setting.

Loved it... Great food good attentive staff and live sports.

It's an older building, only one working toilet, so a bit of queuing. But a lovely cinema hall experience.

A throwback to a simpler time! Nice venue, important part of the town. Don't expect odean style seating though!

Saw the pantomime snow white and the seven dwarfs. Brilliant show. Great customer service when ordering my tickets. The ladies on the phone where very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is a fantastic venue who get some top acts to perform. Highly recommended

Watched panto over last couple of years and the theatre has always been very clean. The seats are very comfortable too.

Great little theatre. Although limited on toilets. Large number of women turned out for this performance and only two toilets.

Good views from most seats here, I would have thought: a fair dip down to the row in front from each tier. Enjoyed the concert and looking forward to the panto.

Very cramped seating, you have to sit at an angle, otherwise your shoulders are touching the person next to you, and your knees end up pressed into the back of the seat in front.

This place has good stuff and is a good venue. Check it out, it exceeded my expectation.

Went to see I Floyd here - very good! Venue OK, although the refreshments were expensive.

Staff are rude and often vacant from the till. Fairly expensive, especially since the screens are tiny, basically a glorified television. Doesn't help that the seats are level, good luck if you're sitting behind someone who isn't shorter than you.

Amazing panto - absolute must! Theatre is comfortable with a car park round the back (pay and display). Staff are super friendly, just needs a bit of a TLC in communal areas.

A really nice intimate theater. Good food options, and all for a good price. Toilets are clean.

Pleasant theatre. Good performance by Kentish Opera. More toilets would improve but this is the same for most theatres of this period.

Had a great afternoon with the family at the xmas panto well worth a visit.

A perfectly good theatre, and some great shows performing at times, but we have found the atmosphere a little lacking compared to other local theatres such as The Oast, and the Assembly Halls, TWells. Worth a visit though if there is a show you like the look of.

Both regular stage performances and cinema screenings are shown here. The stage is a decent size, with a front projection system providing the backdrop changes, rather than physical scene changes, there is also a good lighting system, and an orchestra pit with keyboards, drums, and brass. For guests, the audience seating is comfortable and carpet were in excellent condition during our visit. There are a few flaws here however, the centre is not as disabled friendly as some more moden venues. The toilets whilst functional are very small, there is a metal trough urinal for men, but it is only large enough for two men bumping elbows.

Ratings may vary greatly depending on whether someone has seen a show or film they liked or not, but for the venue itself I'd give it an honest three. My family attended to see Snow White and the seven dwarfs pantomime, and we had a fantastic time, which I'd rate five stars, so I've split the difference with four stars!

Small but quite nice theatre. Regular new shows and some old favourites.

Fantastic pantomime. Haven't been to one in 10 years and wow, so professional. Funny throughout. Excellent performance spoiled only by cramped uncomfortable seats.

Took the grandchildren to see Mary Poppins thought it was overpriced for the amenities that they offer only one toilet for men and the same for women

Quite a small theatre but still has good events/movies. I personally prefer this to larger theatres

Have performed a large number of times here over a space of a decade and its always been a great venue and I have enjoyed them.

We had the misfortune to go to the Stag last Sunday. The concert was billed at 7.30pm, but arriving at 7pm, we were told the concert started at 8pm and they would not let us in until 7.30pm. We came back at 7.30pm to find the place full - they had obviously been overwhelmed with stupid people like us who thought that 7.30 means 7.30!

Inside it got worse. There were no seats for anyone and this did not go down well. No-one was taking responsibility and having stood jam packed for an hour, about twenty of us had had enough, and left.

The concert was excellent but what a shambles - appalling publicity, management and stewarding, no emergency safety instructions and no apologies. They should be ashamed. Don't go there!

Relatively small cinema screen but perfectly sufficient for a local cinema.
