Had a wonderful 7 day stay. Excellent concierge service and friendly staff throughout hotel.
Went there for a few drinks. Lovely but costly. Marvelous staff. Can get busy.
Very good, as always ! Rooms are great, service absolutely fine. A pleasure to stay there.
We ate at the restaurant, The Game bird. Everything was superb. The food, the service, the ambience. Xmas makes everything fun!!
I'd love her if I could. Always visit everytime I'm in London.
Top marque hotel for those not wishing to be flash! Dining was wonderful, delicious and well-priced. Great staff and superb sommelier. Tucked away in St James's- it has a secret feel to it.
Five star care and attention to detail. The new chef is making great changes to a great restaurant.
The most wonderful hotel we have stayed in recently. Fabulous service, gorgeous rooms (in the antique part of the hotel), superb breakfast, best possible location (5 minutes from Buckingham Palace), excellent food in the American Bar (ask for octopus appetizer and steak). Will definitely stay there next time we are in London.
Such a uniquely wonderful property. I especially love the American Bar which is covered from floor to ceiling with memorabilia from staple American institutions. Not giving any hints as to what you'll see there. Go check it out for yourself.
Quite place in the heart of the city, lively place, everything accessible!
One of the best star hotel near to Buckingham Palace
This Hotel is true Heaven in the heart of the City. Come to enjoy the courtyard bar or impressive wine cellar, or 5 o'clock tea. Service is impeccable, so as the rooms. It is one of the best hotels in European Capitals for me.
The American bar looks great but we sat in the dining room for lunch, which was lovely. We hadn't expected the food to be too incredible but it was actually really nicely done and well priced. Staff were friendly too; all in all we had a good time although it wouldn't be my top pick for London.
The penthouse suite was lovely and hotel is excellently located
Lovely place. Very exquisite and fancy hotel. Went because of the bar. They have quite the collection of memorabilia. Definitely worth a stop if you like that sort of thing.
Very welcoming hotel with fabulous Gamebird restaurant. American bar had a good buzz too
Great tea service in the game bird featuring a food "tour of St. James". Very good tea and our waitress was very friendly.
My home in London! Great service , super good food! Can't wait to be back
A beautiful gem in the heart of London. A cute room converted from horse stables. Incredible service from attentive, but not over bearing staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and couldn't recommend more.
Love the bar at The Stafford. Great place to meet for a drink.
Amazing location, great hotel, and pricing that well, is good for the location.
Expensive, but most good things in life are. But very comfortable, quiet, and the staff are very attentive to your needs. I will say though that the breakfast quality has gone down a bit over the past 2 years. But it's still good. Also, I don't need 5 people to open doors for me, but I guess that's how it is. Giving it 5 stars nonetheless because it's still quite good.
I had a wonderful experience! The staff is amazing! all became my friends. this is a quiet hotel. very private. I booked this hotel a second time and I think I'll be back again. wonderful exit to the park. excellent location. unfortunately I can not mark food as something special because it's a common problem in England. certainly we can not compare it with Italy or France. but I really, really recommend it!
We loved this hotel. And that says a lot because we are very picky and high maintenance. I originally wanted to stay at the Four Seasons and I m so glad we decided on this boutique 5 star hotel. The staff was was increasingly service oriented. They reached out in advance and really dotted on us the entire trip. The location was perfect. Close to everything. We walked to a lot of places. Loved loved loved it. Specifically, Peter at the concierge was very helpful. All the staff was delightful
Overpriced but nice atmosphere. My negroni was average
The staff is courteous and polite. Rooms are small but luxurious.
Perfect bar for a quiet chat in a relaxing environment. Restaurant is good for a cilvilised evening. Lovely place in central London.
If meeting passengers, don't tell the concierge, as they will not pass the message on even, though they claim they will!!!
Unsurpassed address in London. Living room atmosphere in the middle of the city. If you have the time and opportunity, you should visit the old wine cellar. A wine tasting and a dinner in the cellar vault is a special highlight. Gladly again.
Excellent Boutique Hotel lovely rooms nice restaurant a fantastic bar lovely and clean place the staff are amazing
Visited this relaxing hotel last januari ....it was a really nice experience....just amazing hotel!
My husband and I visited The Stafford for the night over my birthday weekend. We had a fabulous time. The hotel was immaculate. All staff encounters were spot on, everyone was so helpful.
We stayed in junior suite in the carriage houses, the room was beautiful. Equipped with everything we could ever need.
It was a much needed break in this unsettling time. The Stafford made me feel safe and comfortable and I cannot wait time return.
Long wait at the bar to take the order... people smoning cigars on the terrace ... really expensive even for a 5stars hotel
The staff were first class & very helpful would go there again
Luxe with an early 20th Century vibe. The water is hot and there are no musty smells here, but this place has been a hotel for quite a while. It's the kind of place you might wear your jacket during check in.
The service in the hotel is great -- not oppressive, actually helpful, appropriately engaging and real.
My one trip to the bar (late but during supposed open hours) wasn't as great but the bar is not what I went for.
The location is awesome. If you can get to the Tube station at Heathrow with your bags, you'll easily get your bags the 100 m to the hotel from Green Park station.
One of my favourite central London spots. Great food and flawless service.
We visited for drinks. We had a few small plates. Shareda bottle of wine, it was very nice, what a gem of a place.
Very elegant building, located near train station, rooms a bit small, staff very attentive - did not eat anything there.
We stayed here just about a year ago, always outstanding, perfect location. Stayed once before some 30 years ago.
Perhaps the most attentive, kind, and authentic service of any hotel. Keep the Moonrakers cold at the American Bar for me!
5 stars
We did not have a room here but we went to the American Bar. Great bar with great service, we will be back
Another wonderful stay at our home away from home in London. Again Frank, Sarah , Ned and all the team provided us with a stay scattered with those small pleasures.. after a flight from USA and Oz. The dinner at the the Game Bird (try the fat pidgeon), breakfast with that lovely blood sausage, and the bath, that scrummy bed cushion..... oh how lovely. Each morning Green Park, gave access to my wonderful walk... past Buck palace, and over to Hyde Park to build that appetite. Stuart, the GM, has pulled together a great team to serve us at this most perfecty located Hotel. I could have just stayed in! See you again soon guys. K and D
Nice, exclusive, bar tucked away but toe curlingly expensive.
Elegant with superior service. Onsite restaurant outstanding. Located adjacent to Green Park, close to Buckingham Palace, Churchill War Room, SOHO, St. James Park and more.
Would highly recommend this hotel - Friendly professional staff great location, when you are sitting in the courtyard for drinks or lunch, you would not realise that you are in the centre of London. The bar is a bit of an institution pleasant spot to while away an evening.
Fascinating location and design (has a converted mews stable block)
Best hotel value for a 5 star. We wanted to go to a local art show, they went in the back and pulled the tickets and pulled a car around. We walked past a line of 100 people and right into the show. Great little breakfast and the perfect hotel bar, relaxing but lively at the same time (hard to do)
Beautiful Hotel perfect location, with amazing staff
A small hotel in the heart of London, in the Piccadilly district, consisting of several old houses, recently refurbished. The toilets are impeccable, the bedding excellent. Very good restaurant, quite expensive but we are in London. Very good english breakfast. All this has a price but but the quality is flawless. Two stays in this establishment confirm my good impression.
Had a delicious afternoon tea to celebrate my husbands birthday. On arrival I mentioned to the waiter that it was a special birthday, and asked if they could make a gesture for the occasion. The afternoon tea plus a brownie with a candle More
This is once of the best Hotels I have ever stayed in. It was such a luxurious experience for our honeymoon vacation to London. 10/10.
Good location and food, just popular so service can take a while
Fantastic friendly venue, lovely food and great stafg
Great staff and good facilities. Happy to photograph there again, if required.
Great hotel for a relaxing holiday! Very quiet and comfortable, great beds and sleep. The palace is 5 minutes walk, the park is 50 meters. Liked everything.
Fantastic. Terrific staff. Modern rooms. Great location.
Nice boutique hotel. Attended a private dinner function here and the food, quality of food, service and hospitality was just wonderful. Did not stay at the hotel, however if they give the same level of hospitality and service, I am sure it would be all pleasant.
Great outdoor venue. Service rather slow for a 5 star hotel. Also hugely disappointing that they refuse to take reservations for tables for dinner!! Not what you expect from a good 5 star property.
Nice quiet environment, comfortable tables/seats/bar, good cocktails.
Beautiful hotel right in the centre of town but nicely down a quiet back street.
My favorite hotel in London for 40 years. Best bar in town.
Excellent hotel friendly staff and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended
