Fantastic experience for our first match in Europe. Inter vs Empoli. Great fanbase and exciting game. The stadium was organized well and we never felt confused about where to go despite not speaking the language. Would love to come back for another match

I've never been there . Today I learned the news that they would like to demolish it to build a new one next to it. Even if I am a hated Juventus I find this an insult and a sacrilege. What for? I do not understand .

San Siro, named after the neighborhood where it is located, is nicknamed "La Scala del Calcio" owned by the Municipality of Milan and hosts the internal matches of Milan and Inter.
From 1980 it was named after the player Giuseppe Meazza, but for the fans it remained with its real name: San Siro.
Stadium designed exclusively for football was built in 1925 by Milan's President Piero Pirelli near the Hippodrome for the Trotto, designed by engineer Alberto Cugini and architect Ulisse Stacchini and could accommodate up to 35,000 spectators.
The stadium was inaugurated on 19 September 1926 with a friendly match between Milan and Inter, which ended in favor of the Nerazzurri for 6 to 3.
The stadium owned by Milan was purchased in 1955 by the Municipality of Milan and underwent various renovations over the years.
In 2009, the British newspaper Times has placed it in second place among the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
It is one of the best known internationally, as well as being the largest in Italy and after the Duomo and the Triennale is one of the symbols of Milan.
In 1996 it was set up inside the first museum in Italy that tells the story of the two Milan teams with a collection of cups, trophies, historical shirts and memories of all kinds.
In the eighties it hosted concerts of international and national artists including Bob Marley, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Santana, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, Vasco Rossi, Laura Pausini and the Pooh farewell concert.
In 2012, the stadium welcomed Pope Benedict XVI on a pastoral visit by the Pope to Milan.

Visited for the Vasco Rossi concert, unfortunately I found tickets only for the third ring, which for concerts is very high, obviously not allowing a very good view. Very disappointing audio level Now I don't know if the problem was due to the stadium or the inadequate Audi of the concert

The stadium needs a lot of modernization ... in any case the artist is always appreciated a lot !! Ed Sheeran ... spectacular !!!!! A man and a guitar that make a whole stadium sing! A genius !!!

I was there my first time when muse did their concert.. It was an awesome concert by the way. Good thing about the stadium is obviously that the security at the entrance let you get food and other stuff in it, what makes it inside the stadium way easier to "survive" without spending a lot of money

This stadium is so beautiful. You really won't have a bad seat. However, the rows and seats are small and compact, so be careful when in the 2nd and 3rd tiers. There's convenient ticket scanners and barricades to make everything go quick and smooth. The seating attendants are friendly and can speak some English if necessary. And all seats are color coded and numbered so finding your seats will be a breeze. Forza Milan!

Tight seating and crowded bathrooms during half-time. However, watching Milan or Inter play there is an experience of a lifetime with the ultras bouncing and singing all game long! A must go for any fan of football.

I don't like elliptical structures, I appreciate the use of Nocera white granite for the external parts but inside all those seats make you feel alone and in addition it is aseptic.
I would take a cue from the Marassi of Genoa or the Giolitti of Olbia.

One of the best stadium in Europe . The atmosphere was great and entering and leaving the stadium was ease and pleasant experience.

There is no stadium tours in non match days and there is no official store for AC Milan and inter Milan.

There is news that they will demolish the current sansiro by 2024 so the next five years is your only chance to experience the iconic stadium before it becomes a history

Fun

San Siro is the football scale that is enough to describe this place. The sports facility is nothing short of impressive, inside you can admire all the majesty of this fascinating place full of history, especially football. The games I think are good from every part of the stadium, I have seen very well in the orange sector. The only negative is the dirty bathrooms, some stewards and the constant coming and going of the vendors of snacks and drinks

It's a pity that the museum is smaller now. They should have some marketing experts like they have it at Camp nou and revive the area around the stadium. The tour is poor, but I loved the locker rooms.

The San Siro or Giuseppe Meazza stadium is one of the most beautiful football stadiums in Europe, although it is very large, it can be seen very well from almost any position.
The first ring is very comfortable after the last renovations.

We do not see the trophies and we can not borrow the tunnel of the players to enter the field. The ultimate goal of the visit seems to be the shop ... visits to other major stages are more interesting.

Little tired stadium. But so cool! 67,000 at the stands when we saw Inter-Parma. We were at the stadium an hour before the start and had to queue until 17.45 so arrived on time.
Incredible atmosphere at the stands.
We took the subway to and from the match which was as smooth as possible. Lots of people but just nice people.
If you come to Milan, go to football!

Stately and very beautiful stadium. It is really tall, but it is not as modern as the new Brazilian arenas. I recommend a walk around and eating a snack in the surroundings, they are excellent !!!

Come here to see Milan's match against Juventus and see the president's style. Congratulations to the president for breaking the record in San Siro! The atmosphere on the match day was very good, and all the stalls around the stadium were all kinds of stalls. I feel that the stadium is old, the facilities are relatively simple, and the toilet does not provide toilet paper....

Full stadium but bad thing was the seats are extremely uncomfortable.. if you are longer than 1,75m then i feel sorry for you.

If the seats are better then 5stars!

The Devil's house. The stadium par excellence in Italy. Also present museum and store. Definitely a stop for those who want to see something unforgettable in Milan, preferably in the evening and with the game. San Siro is the football Milan.
