The Liverpool Italian consulate is still closed.

The Liverpool Italian consulate is still closed. They are telling people to travel to London for a passport renewal. This is unacceptable. People who lives 4/5 hours away from London cannot be expected to travel nd also pay for an accommodation to attend an early appointment at the London consulate. Everything is open in the uk. Clubs, pubs, restaurant. People are not mandate to work from home anymore. I asked for a contact to put an official complain and the consulate did not reply to my email. Despite the employees being very nice the service is unacceptable, or the lack of it, I shpudl say

Very professional and efficient service. I had to reapply for a new passport: they have been punctual, efficient and supportive. The only problem I encountered is the long timespan to process the application and deliver the passport; however, this is not under the control of the Vice Consulate but of the Consulate in London.

They never answer on the phone
My daughter has made the renewal of the passport Ben 4 middle school ago and has not yet arrived, she needs urgently because it has been accepted by the university but without an identity document she cannot access and cannot obtain the fee so you can't attend, we tried to call millions of times in the week but no answer and my daughter is 'risking not being able to attend college' for a missed service I'm really furious

Although handy as the Birkenhead one was closed for long time for passports, no answer to the phone and chargers should be displayed informed in the website. ANSWER-The Honorary Consul charger (not chargers of the documents, such as passports etc.)ARE NOT DISPLAYED in the website - The calls that we do on opening times has NEVER BEEN ANSWERED. Some chairs could be available for people waiting to be attended. Apart form these, the service is good and has huge potential.....just need to fix little bits asap.

Incredible Simone, Martina and Federico who supported me quickly and professionally, helping me to figure out how to extricate the complicated world of Italian bureaucracy abroad. Thank you, you are a national pride. These are Italians, we Italians themselves, who no longer live 'in Italy, we appreciate and we want to represent us abroad. Thank you and congratulations on your engagement.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, because the staff truly deserve it. As they say in Italy "pochi ma buoni." From the initial phone call requesting information to the actual appointment, they were all quite helpful and, above all, polite. I especially appreciated the kindness shown toward my 86-year-old mother. They all went above and beyond! Their courtesy and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Keep up the good work!
