Our family perspective of both the parish and school of St. William of York is "to whom else would we go? You have the words of eternal life." This school and parish offers a rare opportunity for learning truth, love and the beauty of the Catholic Church's teachings. We've seen the school grow as a community and improve in academics and extracurricular activities over the past six years, and with the obvious dedication of our teachers, staff and administration we expect continued success for the school.

Nineteen years at St. William Catholic Church. Humble and modest church with a good sense of spiritual community.

I don't even have the words. We have moved around a lot and have been members of wonderful parishes all over the country. This church is unlike anything we have ever experienced. And not in a good way. We got up and walked out after the disasterous homily.

Terrible experiences at this parish! First time we went, we took our children. Since Catholicism prohibits birth control, we have six. My husband took the four older kids. We were "outsiders" from the Marine Corps base nearby. After Mass, my husband was approached by one of the corpulent ushers and told that we should not attend with our children. (I was horrified and asked my husband if the younger two kids were bad and he assures me, they were very good. However, they did not follow in missal and were quietly coloring instead of " participating". They are ages 4 and 5. This is one of those "elite" Catholic churches that definitely want only the best. I think if Christ came back to earth, and came to this church, He would feel very unwelcome. Don't come here if you have kids. I have a child with Down Syndrome and would never dream ofbringing him here to get glared at by The Church Ladies every time he made a noise. Don't come here if you actually have more than two children. StFrancis in Triangle is much better. Or just be Protestant. They are much nicer. And they have a place to put children during a service instead of glaring at you.

My sister goes to this school and she has a good education and loves the teachers but, the student pick line at the end of the day takes forever! I am forced to go with my older brother to pick her up and it takes us and hour to get there, pick her up, and get home. I am a highschool student so I have plenty of homework to do and I do not start it until late.

Very traditional, no children's liturgy and not much flexibility with the Mass schedule. Also very hard to understand the second priest during his homily- friendly though!

Although the priest and community of St. William of York is friendly here, this is a church where the Lord is reverently worshiped! Father DeMartino clearly leads the congregation by example. He teaches truth with love in all ways. His style causes us to "rise up". By following him we gladly become obedient for the love of Our Lord. By acting as he acts we become more humble putting others before us. Studying the Bible, seeking & knowing our Catholic faith and building a relationship with Christ through the sacraments is encouraged here. St. William of York is a place where one can grow in holiness if one chooses!

Our two children love attending St. William of York. We love the authentic Catholic environment of the school. It is evident that the teachers enjoy what they are teaching and that shines through to the children. The entire community is a wonderful place for our children to be each and every day.We are very happy to have found St. William of York.

We have belonged to St. William of York since 2013 and are so grateful for the authentic Catholic Mass and teachings. This is a wonderful home Parish. The pastoral team are amazing and thank God, conservative Catholics. We have five children and recognize that our responsibility is to help our children grow in the authentic Catholic faith and to act responsibly and with reverence during Mass. Our Pastoral Team have helped us with this effort. This is a very child friendly parish, in the good way, where children are guided to understand how to worship in Church rather than treating the Mass as play time. Thank you Father DeMartino and Father Lino.

Our children are sincerely happy at St. William of York. As parents, it is important to us that our children can learn in a safe, enriched, and loving environment. The entire faculty and staff are a testament to this. The whole school community is very tight knit, creating a sense of family. We have been blessed with wonderful experiences in both the preschool and the elementary school, watching our children blossom. From the academic experience to the extracurricular options, we are very pleased with the school. As part of the military, having to move around the world so often, it's not always easy to settle in and find a home, we have happily done that here at St. William of York.

I love this church and marry me there is a place where if you're respectful of the Catholic liturgy not leave disappointed, they are extremely careful and respectful. I invite you to attend the banquet of the Lord in this house.

Very active parish. 9AM Mass a good mix of Traditional/Novos Ordo. I like Pastor's Homily. Music is well done.

Nice to visit but not sure I would want to make it my permanent church home. I saw no joy in the parish. All stern and serious. Homily was excellent. Quite was beautiful.

I would rate it a zero if I could. This was a wonderful church years ago. When the current Pastor, Fr. Robert DeMartino arrived, he erased the spiritual feeling from this church. He had very inappropriate sermons and focused a great deal on money. He did not support the schools baseball team and other sports. If you are looking for a welcoming Catholic church, please consider St. Francis of Assisi in Triangle. Very welcoming as a church should be.

Four of my grandkids attend this school. Great staff and education, I really like the measures taken to protect the children's safety from drop off to pick up and thru out the day.

Caring people who doesn't judge you but instead try to help you in every way possible. Lost my job and needed assistance and they've NEVER disappointed me, judged me, or turned me away. All you need to do is be honest and they will take care of you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for me and my family when I needed you St. William of York. Thank you so much. God bless the hands of everyone who work there.

Very traditional, conservative Catholic Church. Great priests. All very spiritual. Excellent opportunities for parishioners to be of service to others in a variety of roles. Have been members here since 1999.
Photo note -
I've posting numerous photos of the church's narthex project during the construction period (Nov./Dec. 2019 and early Jan. 2020). I did so for historic purposes. The narthex was officially blessed/opened on Jan. 19, 2020 by Bishop Michael Francis Burbidge.

As a recent graduate of university of Dallas one of my favorite things about attending this church (other than the consistent reverence for and during the mass) is homilies with father DiMartino. They are many times on par with my upper level theology courses I took at school and always give you something to think about rather than just sit back because you punched you "good Christian" ticket for the day, or to make you feel good because you put more money in the basket. If you're a Lukewarm catholic, you might get offended because they don't shy away from mentioning church truths at swoy, but never have I been excluded or treated poorly, even when I come in looking like the crazy artist I am. If you're visiting the area and looking for a solid church to attend this Sunday without female alter servers or constant applause swoy has you covered.

I just joined St. William of York Catholic Church. I went to confession, bought quite a few items at the thrift store, and then I officially became a parrishoner all in one day, today. I had quite a productive day at the church today. I have to say confession, the thrift store, and the Parrish office were all very polite to me. I am glad to meet a new group of such kind parrishoners. So I'm happy to give the church a high rating. I give St. William of York Catholic Church a five star rating. I' m glad to now belong to such a nice Parrish. Thank you And God Bless. Phillip Morales.
