We aren't members, just take classes. The staff are friendly, class teacher is awesome and the classes themselves are great as well (lots of times to choose from and class area is always clean and we'll kept). Would give 5 stars, but it is pricey.

My son has went here a few times for some short summer camps and absolutely loved it, and still goes swimming here at least once a week... Great employees and nothing but good things!!!!

Do NOT buy a membership if you want to swim, also do not pay to get in if you want to swim before you check the pool for yourself. O and don t bother to swim during the week because they always have events meaning you can t swim. The place is really a joke for swimming. The rest is ok

Its nice and not too crowded. I haven't gone in a couple days but I love to spend my time there. The bathrooms are nice but this is probably my one complaint about this place. As soon as I get up to wipe, the toilet flushes immediately. Other than that, all the machines work nice.

We went swimming there yesterday it was a great play to swim they have 5 pools from 1 foot deep to one deep enough to dive from 50 to 60 feet a really fast slide and a vortex pool that is like a big whirl pool. But its only 3 or 4 feet deep and there is a life guard that stands rught there same thing with the slide there is a life guard there too and a few that are consently walking around all of the pools and there were two life guards in the office they were are very friendly and help full I couldn't see my friends little girl and the life guard found her for me she was where she was supposed to be I just couldn't see her. It was only 6.25 for kids under 12 and 9.00 for adults and you can swim from the time they open until the time they close. And it is a very clean pool. After the swim they have a snack area up stairs to get some good food from not expensive and they have an arcade up there to.

My grandson's hockey team entered the tournament this past weekend. His team was fortunate to get to the championship game today. They won over the Nashville Jr. Predators. It was a great game played by both teams. Unfortunately whoever organized this tournament had no representation this morning nor were there any trophys or medals awarded. No recognition of the two teams at all. As a matter of fact the Ice was resurfaced ant lights in the rink turned off. The snack bar was closed before the game was over.

Our boys never said a word but I wonder what the folks who traveled several hundred miles thought.

Surely St. Peters can do a better job than this or it may be difficult to attract distant teams or even local teams for next year.

Every night we come for drop in without fail one of the girls is not taking tickets and turns it into a huge ordeal not to mention being rude to players who have paid to be on the ice, then taking time away from them because they forgot and realized that they didn't get the ticket because they were too busy socializing elsewhere. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. One little girl with blonde hair not older than 17 refused to give me information for her manager and proceeded to say rude things about not only me and another players wife but some of the players. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

This is a great place for the entire family. This facility is kept up well and is kept clean. There's lots of different classes offered for adults and children. If you live in the area I'd highly recommend getting a membership here.

The facilities are nice, however, if your child should misplace his favorite hoodie, make sure you check the lost and found right away. I called the day we lost it (which was a Saturday) and the lady on the phone said I was welcome to come back up and check the lost and found myself, but they do not do that. I came up on Monday, only to be informed that F.I.S.H had come by that morning to collect everything as a donation, like they do every month, which I was not told when I initially called. This all occurred within 3 days. I hope some child less fortunate than us enjoys the hoodie at least. I work in customer service and this was a ridiculous thing to put a customer through.

It's outdated with a poor layout. Inconvenient times to take the kids ice skating or swimming. Facilities inexplicably closed or restricted. Broken fitness equipment. Fair if only using it for lap swimming and/or fitness but better options remain.

Nice

It's got everything! Nearly any kind of exercise you like to do, they've got it. Swimming, ice skating, running, lifting, it's there. Great staff, clean facilities. Worth every penny of the membership fee.

They have open swim during swim classes for kids and let the general public use the lanes that they are teaching the classes in. Yeah, between about 4 and 5 pm there are swim teams practicing and there isn't but a lane or two for the 3 or 4 swim classes. The swim classes have to share lanes with each other AND the general public. The kids have to swim around these people like they are obstacles. No offense to the public, these times are advertised; but I've seen a lot of swim lessons in my time, but never scheduled with the general public interfering. After having this experience, I have looked more closely at the "Y" as another commenter suggested. I can see that the program looks more comprehensive at the "Y" as the sidestroke is not shown to be taught at the RecPlex. I can also see that the "Y" claims to focus more on individual attention. Your child will just be failed at the RecPlex if they don't grasp a concept, no individual help there (unless you pay hefty fees for private instruction). My feelings are "if the students don't learn, the teacher hasn't taught". It would be interesting to know the "failure" rate for swimming at the RecPlex. Talking to the parents of students in the class, it seems to be very high.

Just recently became members, enjoying the Cove so far this summer. Haven't taken advantage of the indoor facilities yet. Looking forward to that this fall and winter. Great rate for a family of 6.

Overall a pretty good place to go and work out. My wife and I have been members for a few years now. The biggest complaint is the older folks who just sit on machines and talk to their friends and the vast amount of people who do not wipe down their equipment, but that happens in plenty of gyms! Lots of classes offered and a clean facility.

5 Stars. I had family that stayed for the all night lock in at the rec plex this past new years eve. They have been raving about this place asking to go back and they haven't even been gone a full 12 hours from the Rec Plex. They enjoyed swimming, basketball, countless activities and more. Even watched a movie as part of the lock in package. Great job Rec Plex

I have been playing hockey here for the past year religiously on weds mornings at 11:15 ......I do understand that there wasn't always great attendance and do understand that maybe shutting it down makes since..... But what I have a problem with is the fact that they can't make a SIMPLE phone call to their Web administrator to make the SIMPLE adjustment of deleting that line from the page on the website. As they have had ample notice before weds..... Not only did I waste my days of vacation I took off.... But I wasted my gas money that it takes to drive from Dogtown in St. Louis ouis city 25.2 miles to be exact an d 34 min of driving time and 10 to 15 dollars in gas it takes to get there..."I drive a truck ". So with that said.... Do not trust them to do there job....P.S. Go BLUES

Attended a birthday party which was not organized as it should have been. Pizza was half hour late, young gal in charge suggested eat cake first and then pizza because she needs to be done very soon. Party host said we would eat pizza first and then had cake and everything was very rushed. Providing swimming and/ or ice skating was the saving grace of the party, which is why It was rated okay.

Decent facility but it's on the older side so you just have to accept it for what it is at this point. Anyways, I use the workout room all the time and mostly on week nights and it's almost never very busy and I can do what I want and there's plenty of machines. There's a pretty consistent group of regulars that's always up there when I am and I've formed bonds with people over the years that have been very pleasant and have kept me coming to the rec to workout. I also play basketball occasionally when the court is empty because when it gets packed there's basically no room to do anything and people will play pickup games for hours that never end so you can't really do anything. Overall a good community place to workout and good staff.

I've felt that the Indoor lap swim water temperature was probably in the mid 70s when it is supposed to be 82 to 84. Unlike on the surface there is a significant difference in the feel of a few degrees fluctuation of water temperature. 82-84 can be felt by a few people. 78 - 84 is a huge difference.

Aug 12 emailed the concern to Kyla Volker
Aug 12 Kyla Volker confirmed via email that the temp is 82-84
Aug 23 I checked the temp in the recreational lap pool lane (shallow side) at the reading was 79 and emailed Kyla Volker
Aug 23 Kyla Volker changed the Aug 12 statement and mentioned that temperature is 78-84 and copied Rick Oloteo
Aug 23 Rick Oloteo mentioned that shallower end of the pool will have warmer water.
Aug 23 I responded to Rick mentioning that I always swim in shallow end and that's where I recorded 79
No Response from anybody at the Rec-Plex
