I had a surgery done at St. Nicholas Hospital and during the period of my admission, I was well treated and attended to by the staff. The food was good and like home. The Hospital is good and reliable for medical treatment.

I don t know whether it was the day ( Saturday) or that s how it is now, but the service was one of the poorest I ve ever experienced.
We spent a total of three hours just to get my dad a ward to rest in, all because the hmo office was closed.
The staff had the most annoying lackadaisical attitude about them, as if WE were the ones being impatient and an old man s health was of no importance.
Definitely one of the most self righteous display of selfish, incompetent healthcare. A typical NIGERIAN Nollywood hospital through and through.
Disappointed.

The midwives are horrible! They are that of 1900 General hospital and health centres, not even the current level of General hospitals. It's a total waste of money, if u ve to use St Nicolas, just go to a General hospital: u are going to save money, and get a better care. I repeat the Midwives are HORRIBLE. They have just 1 person with you in the delivery room, one Nasty person leaving you to your self while you are in Labor, shouting and unconcerned, same person cuts the placenta, same person to receive the baby. I had a MAD experience with them, eventually lost the baby. The Delivery rooms ve equipment that are out dated. FIRST TIME MOM AVOID THIS HOSPITAL, IT'S A DEATH TRAP, if a case of emergency suffice with a horrible, and unconcerned attendant, u are good as gone. She might even not be available to know an emergency though because i am sure you will be alone. That Hospital screams INCOMPETENCE.

I will always recommend this great hospital to everyone. My Son was almost gone when we rushed him there and took total control. The health team are awesome. They also have HMO (Metro health) which is quite reasonable. You can google more on it. God bless St. Nicholas Hospital and the whole staff.
