I got mixed feelings about this school i graduated in June 2017 and got a patient care tech certificate but honestly wanting to get further in the degree of nursing i went to Florissant valley to only get in the same courses i already took at SLCHC so now im owing a loan of 15,000 wen i could have skip it and went the other route and did a school more accredited and better job placement . my determinate was to find a job in nursing which i did but as far as money i could have done better somewhere else.

Absolute waste of time. They did not fulfill their own commitment. Obvious scam. I feel stupid that my anxiety led me to not notice I was signing up for a scam. I realized pretty early what was going on but tried to make the best of it. I regret not leaving as soon as I could.

A long explanation of my ongoing balance now $8000. I paid according to my documents from them is $3000 . Several calls and this was attempted to be explained by a finance officer who said I'd be contacted but never was. My enrollment was long ago 2015-2016 Those original documents are obsolete and can not be retracted I was told but a effort to look for another way was told to me. Shame on me for not keeping up with my copies.

Long story short, I would not recommend this school period unless you have all the finances and need no additional funds from the institution if offered.. There are other schools to choose from, so take the time and do your research. Save your paperwork as new technology makes it difficult to reproduce.

This school is a joke!! They push the MA associate degree program on people who completed the diploma knowing that no one will hire an MA with an associate and give them the pay for it. Especially when there cancelling that degree. I did work and learn for them and they claim I never did which is a total lie just so they can get money out of me!!! Anyone who has a complaint about this school we need to fight them together and get our money back we wasted!! This is a fraudulent school with no accreditation!! They have been on probation for this and the credits are non transferable to any school!! Your all right when it comes to getting a job too. No one will hire you because of lack of skills and knowledge. This school needs to be shut down and the only way to do is with anyone whose had issues and take it to court!!

They are the biggest frauds ever. I went there in 2010 and again in 2014. They trumpt up a fraudulent charge of $335 for my graduation; when I told them I never attended graduation or got a cap or gown they claimed i failed a class which I never did. I completed my Associates degree in 2014 and in 2018 I STILL HAVE NO DEGREE IN HAND. The staff are beyond unprofessional. All my attempts to resolve the matter have been unsuccessful. The lady named Ms. Jackson in registration told me they didn't care if i contacted the BBB and AG and me telling them I would was a threat! The nerve of theses crooks. DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL. You will not be hired for a career after and you'd be lucky to get a job period. The jobs you will possibly land you DO NOT HAVE TO GO HERE FOR. They are frauds, unprofessional, and do not care whether you are successful or not.

Going to school through a world wide outbreak was ...

Going to school through a world wide outbreak was challenging. I was coming from an Automotive manufacturing career ten years when I chose to up and leave a financially stable position at well know auto plant. I had to really find myself, find the motivation to leave, and put me first for once in my life. I spoke with my mother, my sister, and fiance' and they gave me full support to leave my job, to go back to school. I chose this school early on when I was then 24...but I quit. At 37 years old, I came back, and chose to pursue Healthcare again for my daughter and nieces. Last fall, I began to materialize my future and my personal goals.
Two weeks into the courses, I began to get overwhelmed, I immediately went to my Professor to quit, I was shaking and in tears. She held my hand, looked me in my eyes and said "Jenni, You got this, finish what you started for your child, If you want I'll call you once a wk, to help you. We all want you to finish". She even gave me other instructors to tutor me for every course. So I can honestly say the business office, the financial aide offices, and program director all opened there door to me and others. They really do care. The lady I cried to...She turned out to be my angel- my instructor and the head of my program. It's now 30 day until I graduate. I am now in externship at a well known Pediatric office. Moral of my story- Finish what you started, Dream big and I promise THIS school Will help you win- In Solidarity see you at the top!
