Going to school through a world wide outbreak was challenging. I was coming from an Automotive manufacturing career ten years when I chose to up and leave a financially stable position at well know auto plant. I had to really find myself, find the motivation to leave, and put me first for once in my life. I spoke with my mother, my sister, and fiance' and they gave me full support to leave my job, to go back to school. I chose this school early on when I was then 24...but I quit. At 37 years old, I came back, and chose to pursue Healthcare again for my daughter and nieces. Last fall, I began to materialize my future and my personal goals.
Two weeks into the courses, I began to get overwhelmed, I immediately went to my Professor to quit, I was shaking and in tears. She held my hand, looked me in my eyes and said "Jenni, You got this, finish what you started for your child, If you want I'll call you once a wk, to help you. We all want you to finish". She even gave me other instructors to tutor me for every course. So I can honestly say the business office, the financial aide offices, and program director all opened there door to me and others. They really do care. The lady I cried to...She turned out to be my angel- my instructor and the head of my program. It's now 30 day until I graduate. I am now in externship at a well known Pediatric office. Moral of my story- Finish what you started, Dream big and I promise THIS school Will help you win- In Solidarity see you at the top!
