They are very limited in knowledge. I had a burn with an infection and they said it was healing. They were wrong, it had grew, instead. I told them that I have to take certain antibiotics because I have a reaction and they didn't listen. I would not recommend this hospital.

My mother was a stroke patient and they did a really good job of taking care of her. Very kind and patient, and also reasonable considering they take on a lot of patients. The staff are very hardworking.
The "nurse" doing covid 19 tests was unnecessarily rough and even when I cried, she kept digging in with the swab for a prolonged time. Had a test done 2 wks previously that took a brief moment.
Worst hospital. My mother went into the ER with heart related problems. Chest pain vomiting shortness of breath extremely weak. We waited over two and half hours. I literally had to hold her head for her while she curled up on their uncomfortable hard chair. She has had 3 heart attacks every year seasonally around this time. I explained that the ekg did not pick up the last one and she was sent home and had a heart attack. She almost died!!! They could only tell by taking a blood test. Marget did not care or show any concern or empathy. Finally we got a room, the nurses and doctor treated my husband with such disrespect. He is a conserned son asking logical questions and could not get any straight answer. Except that the doctor was boss in her exact words. First diagnosis was food poisoning, second pulmonary embolism, the third diagnosis is now namonia. My mother is claustrophobic and kept taking off the oxygen mask off her mouth saying she can t breath so my husband ask if they could give one for the nose. The nurse decided to get into a power struggle, got security called the police and escorted us out. Now she is at the hospital drugged up and no one is there to help make life saving medical decisions for her. So if you ask questions and want a straight answer because you are scared and concerned I would highly recommend NOT taking your loved one to St. Joseph emergency room. They do not like questions from men with a concerned tone. They will ask you to leave or they will call the police.
Came into urgent care for GERD symptoms. Staff were very professional, kind, efficient with excellent bed side manners. Would recommend this urgent care facility.
The ER is so slow, this hospital is clearly understaffed! I'm in so much pain, but they are making me wait after the doctor has already seen me, still waiting 45 minutes for help! Rediculous, no nurse checking on me and no bed to lay on. Room 1114 has no bed!!!! I finally got a nurses attention and she was rude! Forget this hospital! Should've gone to Kaiser!
Excellent care of my Mom by Dr.s and nurses. She was admitted and determined she had a stroke. The Dr.s provided all the information needed to make good informed decisions. She was treated with kindness, care and respect. Thank you so much !
This is the best urgent care by far. Great energy, clean facility. Great nurse in front wish I got her name and love Dr. Patty Tucker, I felt comfortable here and got the help I needed. Thank you ladies again stay healthy.
Been there twice, and had horrible experiences both times. Will not be back. Doctors promised me both times that they would follow up with me, and they never did. Front desk workers don't pick up the phone. I had to leave work early to get there before they closed at 5 so i could get my diagnosis, because for whatever reason they were incapable of returning my calls all afternoon. Then, they couldn't find the fax or email that was sent with my results from the X-ray office, and they said they were closed since "no one answered all afternoon." So I was going to be left all weekend wondering if I had a broken bone. So I left frustrated, and said screw it I'll call even though they told me I was not allowed to contact the X-ray office, I really wanted to see the results. So. I give the X-ray office a call, and what do you know, they answer on the first call and allow me to come pick up the results, since St. Joseph's workers were too incompetent or lazy to find my results. Extremely unprofessional all around. Only good experience was with the nurses that help before the doctors come. They were the only helpful ones in the office.
There Is A Fat Lazy Rude Idiot Working Valet..... Just Makes This Great Hospital Look Stupid..... There Are Great Friendly Nurses And Doctors..... So Why Does The Valet Act Like A Box Of Rocks ??? . Instead Of Being Helpful He Helps Only Himself And Tries To Do As Little As Possible..... Oh My God This Guy Would Help His Own Health And Fat Ass If He Just Tries To Move The Cars Instead Of Making Me Turn Around Unnecessarily Increasing My Chances of Damaging My Car And Other Cars That Are All Over...... Just A Damn Shame !!!! About As Much Customer Service Skills As In My Little Pinky . If You Don't Want To Help Other At Least Help Yourself Before Cardiac Arrest Becomes Your Problem. Exercise !!!!! Is The Best Advice I Could Give This Rude Individual And Try And Be Helpful..... It's The Position You Hold.
St Joseph Hospital, after my daughter was in a car accident, abused her physically by forcibly denying her ability to leave, even after a doctor cleared her for release. They told her she couldn t leave unless she went through 6-8 more hours of unnecessary tests that she did not want nor needed, the nurses even threatened to put her dog who was in accident in a pound. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL. The harm they did to my daughter was callous and unethical.
This is one Star for the billing department. Why hire someone who makes it extremely uncomfortable to pay your bill? Didn't take her name, but she sounds like an old grouchy lady. From the beginning to end she treats every question as if it should be common sense.
Avoid this hospital! They are NOT in the business of helping people. While my wife is recovering from emergency hand surgery, they sent us to collections; for a bill that our medical insurance and lawyer were working on with the liable party. The billing department was difficult to work with and rude on the phone. Shame of them for treating their patients in such an unkind way.
Doctor Gerard is already an hour and a half late for my 10:10 am appointment and there are still 2 people ahead of me. You'd think a professional person could manage their time better. I also work and my time is important too
Regarding the Outpatient Imaging dept: People, please call your insurance company before getting any diagnostic work done here. I have been told twice that I am 'covered' by this group directly but then suffered the repercussions later with an unexpected VERY expensive medical bill. This morning I followed my intuition and called Blue Shield directly to verify if they were in network for a preventive mammogram. Sure enough, they are not. Don't listen to the front desk staff. Sorry, spend the hour on the phone with your provider to confirm before you get treatment.
I was just there was 3.5 days. The staff from the ER to the 4 North were so professional and kind and caring. They did everything they could to make me feel as comfortable as possible.
