Respite for handicapped adults.
I've had the immense pleasure of partaking in respite relief from St Joseph's many years now. Excellent staff... Very attentive... They love their job... Their residents... And the family members who bring their loved ones there. I have a 27 years old daughter with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. She loves being at St. Joes with the staff more than me... I'm not mad/jealous I love being there too rather than home.
Ask for Ms. Sam Mosteller... Or Harold for your respite needs... Greg Runs the place... May I just say... FABULOUS! More than enough capable hands always fully staffed they can even do african american hair! Say what?!?!
Nothing bad at all to say... Well... The switchboard operator sends you so quick to your requested department... That you never get to say Thank You... Lol .. My only critique...they have comfortable, safe beds, dorms, spa tubs, toys, large screen TV's, all sorts of sensory equipment for soothing and occupying the mind and spirit... And several incredible nurses... 24 hourly knowledgeable staff... Closed only a couple of major holidays. Awesome... Awesome place!
I love having my son stay here in respite. They are loving and caring. I feel confident that my son is a priority when he is here. My son enjoys being here also.
Great safe getaway for my son. The nurses are very nice and detailed. They also go the extra mile for you child. Which makes me so happy.
I worked here for 7 years and I miss it so much. I started as a nurse aide then moved to an lpn position and then to an RN position after I graduated. The residents are the absolute best and really bring joy into your day. It was a pleasure to provide care to all of them.
Very caring staff. They take excellent care of their charges.
My sister has been a resident 15 years. I cannot say enough good things about this place and what it means for our family. My sister means the world to us and there's no better place for her.
Great place for disabled children they are very caring
I've been working here for almost 2 years, and it is hands down the best job I have ever had! I love my residents and I love coming in every morning and knowing that no matter what happens it's going to be a great day!
I cannot say enough good things about St. Joseph Home. It's a very special place. The staff is attentive, kind, professional and genuinely care about the residents. The facilities are clean and well kept. They do an amazing job caring for my sister who has been there since 2002, in addition to Day Program. When our mother died suddenly, St. Joseph Home went above and beyond to provide support for both of us. They held my hand as I applied for guardianship, assisted with the transition and have been in constant communication regarding my sisters care. As her legal guardian, I have peace of mind knowing that my sister has the very best care around the clock from people I know and trust. They are very open to feedback and consistently reach out about day to day activities, health changes, ideas, and more. I'm grateful for the level of care & home they have made for Rachel. I'm truly thankful for the work these special people do daily.
I was there for a training class and the atmosphere was very inviting.
