St. John's United Methodist Church Review

I have volunteered at St. John's for 8 years and have been honored to be affiliated with such a wonderful mission oriented organization!!! I can assure you I have been given/received more than I have given. My heart and soul have been filled with the true human experience and journey of life in all aspects with great values and practices at every level!!! Keep up your great work St. John's, you practice your mission in the people whom you serve every day and impact eternity!

Asked me to resign to work for them then they refused to hire me! - I was working in their facilities as a pool CNA through Yellowstone and they continuously solicited me with job offers ( violating the contract with Yellowstone) I quickly learned it was a good opportunity and sat down with Kylie who offered me an official position and asked I leave Yellowstone. I resigned from Yellowstone and was not allowed to work my two weeks. When I returned to Kylie she stated they couldn't hire me because I hadn't finished my two weeks. Since then I have applied for multiple positions and been immediately denied with the line they managed to fill the positions which are all still open. Very good place to work but the HR department seems unethical in my experience.

I have loved my time at St. John's. Employees truly care for the elders who live at St. John's, which is why we are all there. We work in an atmosphere that promotes growth and learning opportunities for employees if desired.

I thought staff was very rude. I went to talk to someone about my dad comeing to live at St John's. Staff was rude. Refused to show me areas of the facility. Told me some of my questions were out of line. I was looking for the best facility for my fathers care. I obviously didn't choose St Johns. When a business refuses to show you where the their patients eat or answer questions regarding their facilities there is something wrong.

I Love working at St. John's and have been doing so for over 9 years. Not perfect, but they try to do the right things for the right reasons. I believe the majority will agree.

My Mom is a resident and the staff have been wonderful and caring. It is difficult to see her slip further into dementia, but the staff remains care, even when she can be a bit difficult.

I have now been working at St. John's for about a month or two and I am very thankful to have found this place! The patients are treated with respect and dignity.

I really appreciate the free summer concert series for the community and residents. Very cool

Terrible place to be especially if you park somewhere to work for them and they tell you your not allowed because your not a permanent employee and all your trying to do is help

St. John's is incredibly accomodating for those vulnerable populations they serve and I believe as a community they strive to care and provide for all residents despite financial and social status. I have had excellent experiences with this ministry in private and professional dealings and would highly recommend for care of a loved one as well as for employment.

The way I was treated while working there was HORRIBLE!!!! I was being bullied and harrassed by coworkers and Management did NOTHING about it. Everything I did while working was as perfect as I could get it. My residents were well taken care of. But because my coworkers didn't like me for whatever reasons they made my work experience with St. John's misrable. So stay away from them. Cause if you don't FIT IN the staff will run you out and make you look bad to Managment!!!

My parents were in the vista until dad passed and then we moved mom into to Mooreberg cottage. The staff at both facilities did a great job!! Especially with mom as she could be difficult at times. The professionalism and care mom received allowed me the joy of being a daughter and not a caretaker.

I have worked for this company for over 3 years now. They are fair and loving to the staff and ofcorse the residence are care for so well. They have lots of activities and the food is great! I would not hesitate to tell a stranger to check this place out!

Been at St. John's for a year and a half, is it perfect? No,but it's the best place in town and the company has helped me in my personal life more than once. They really do pull together when you have a personal problem and help more than I expected. If you're a Nurse or CNA it's the best place to start your career, trust me I did. I was a CNA and when I got hurt on the job they helped find me another position in the company so I could keep working.
