Great people who run this place. If there wasn't so many people that required their services there would be more they could offer.

These people have great hearts, THEY THREW A SUPER BOWL PARTY FOR THE HOMELESS!! THE ONLY PLACE EVER TO DO THAT. THEY SERVED CHILI AND SNACKS!!

St. John's is the best place in the city for homeless men in need of some help with getting back on their feet. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. The job is hard, but the successes they achieve for their clients really makes their day. They genuinely care about everyone who is foutunate enough to enter their door. So, if you want to get your life back on the right path, stop by and let the volunteers and staff lend you a hand,or an ear. They are great listeners who understand and will empathize with you.

I found this place was kind of a hard place to get along with people I felt very unwanted and mistreated here.

Very empathetic and patience with the men and their life issues. They are also very knowledgeable resourceful and timely in their aide.

Free hygiene, socks and sometimes food. Place to shower and drink coffee in the early morning

If you are a homeless man, this is the best shelter in the city

I liked this place because they serve coffee which can be helpful in keeping your body warm during the winter.

Caters to bums that sit there all day sleeping in chairs till free lunch comes out at 3 on to Wayside.to lazy to work

One of the few places homeless men can go and not be judged

The coronavirus is slowed everything down but they're there and they help you when you need it

Homeless day shelter for men. Great hard working people that are always willing to help those who want it.

This place is needed for those fortunate. Yes the premise is great and it gives the homeless a place for the day. if only those whom were nice enough to give their time to this cause, only truly seen their efforts more positively followed. But 1 bad apple can spoil the barrel if left to spread its non-existentcy drama to the rest of those looking to give life a chance. WWJD.

This place is great. The people are very helpful. However the homeless that go there use drugs and steal from anyone

The St John center. Is the most loving caring sharing warm open-hearted center that I know of in Louisville Kentucky! When they say they are here to help you you can feel it they mean it. Overwhelmingly warm receptive staff you may come in feeling tired and sad but you will leave revived and happy great personalities all throughout the staff. If you stop in by chance please ask for Wright. He will have you laughing within minutes and also Bullock the doorman is one of the big-hearted people that run this place and make it the best place to be when you're down and out. The front desk to the counselors the warm welcome feeling you will receive is overwhelming. Also some of the hottest cleanest showers in Louisville but I know of. If you're in the area of East 700 Muhammad Ali boulevard and you're down and out do yourself this big huge favor stop in and feel the love I speak of. Have a Merry Christmas and a blessed New year

It's a nice place to go to get coffee and it's in out of the weather they are open from 7:00 am till 3:00 pm here in Louisville Kentucky

Great place! I recommend FreeHousingProject.com & Wwoofers if you need long term free housing and food. You work 20 hours weekly for nice and safe places to live. You can life for free up to 5 years or more.

I think you need to be sober and emotionally stable. They also help you start working and going to school for free...

St John's gives men a sense of hope & believing in the construction of a NEW foundation to make changes & set forth desire to address many topics & ways such as "proper" communication & directives of issues that set upon the trail of life's current impact & keep the positives & dismiss the negatives. All by registering full commitment to & with the staff that put their self in position & "reach" to the "asking" of ideas.

Though I have never used the facilities personally, I have come extremely close to needing them this past year. On many occasions I have visited with gentleman who frequently utilize their services. What they provide to our community of homeless men is a true blessing. It's a place which provides a safe haven for those needing shelter from the elements and environment for which they find themselves. Homelessness isn't always a choice or due to a mental illness. One can literally can be a victim of circumstances and have barriers placed on them which are completely out of one's control. I've known many homeless men who want to find work, but aren't allowed an interview or given an opportunity due to hygiene. Again, something which isn't always within their control. St. John assists with these types of barriers by offering a place for men to shower and clean up so they can confidently present themselves as worthy members of the Louisville community.

Every human being should have the right to eat, work, public transportation (mobility), healthcare and shelter. St. John Center for Homeless Men isn't able to take care of all these rights, but they are definitely doing their part to ensure some of the basic needs are being met while at the same time providing hope to those who utilize the facility.

We went there to dedicate Red White And Brew coffee room our VFW post and a few more people help raise money for them.

A very helpful place for men living on the streets that really need the help, the best worker there to me is tiny. She does every thing to help the homeless in Louisville. She and her organization (forgotten Louisville) do all they can for everyone in Louisville that is homeless. She really does care. She does everything to get people off the street. A very special person.

It is a good place to stay for homeless men that are trying to get their lives back together.

Sincere and caring staff. Great place to volunteer. They are doing real work for the community.

Went to an orientation there. To begin volunteering. They are a wonderful staff. I begin in a couple of days.

This place is great and helps ppl out alot...but the staff talk amunsteach other about clients that's against hipa

They see to as many needs of adult men most of whom are homeless as can be identified. In some cases this is to provide assistance to enter into Section 8 housing grant program. They help as many as they can.

It's ok if you have some where else to feed your self and sleep ..and just need somewhere to go during the day to kill time

Some programs are available but not much relating to self help on becoming non- homeless

It's a very good place to start getting housing or just a warm smile and a hot cup of coffee and get out of the weather for a while

Staff could care less. They can't buy the things you need to get a job but can upgrade the building to make the staff happy. Sister Jean works like 15 minutes a day. Fat black guy eats all the food and they play favorites with giving out help you have to be black

Is the best organization for the help if disadvantaged and homeless people very caring and determined staff who believe in there mission to help place where a person with any kind of deficalty situations in life help with mental health housing documents transportation a place to with every meanings of help

Provides a greatly needed service for homeless men here in Louisville. Provides access to showers. Warm coffee and protection from the elements during the day.

There is a lot of teaching we had to do I wonder if they cleaned them up to???

To wright, Robin and all the amazing people of Saint johns who have been there for myself and countless others I am forever great full for the genuine kindness and friendship. In a world that can be a dark lonely and cruel place at times, it is a little brighter every day with you all it!!!! Thank you!! Now get back to work!!!!! I m not kidding go get back in there.. lol
