WOW this church left me speechless. My friend took me here just to show it to me and it is very beautful. Walking in is a humbling experience, it brought me to tears. A calming, serene church. I would go back just to sit in it for a few minutes.

A real North American cathedral experience. Heated, carpeted floors, recently burnt chapel, outside park packed with squirrels, and empty columns. Guess the medieval masters never made it across the ocean... But hey, pray and love. Worth a visit.

I usually stop by the Cathedral Church of St. James to take photographs of the beautiful architecture when I visit St. James Park which is right next door. There are a few places that I recommend taking photo's, and one is on the west side of the church where there is a cement spire. - A Richard Trus review

This Chursh is on of the best I have ever been. The place is very calm and has the holistic feel in the middle of downtown Toronto. A historic church with lot of info for tourist at the same time. Their choirs does an amazing job.

I was quite disappointed when I entered the cathedral and my thought while sitting on a bench was "this is nothing special". The facade and the park are better than the interior of the church that I found cold and quite anonymous.

Peaceful and a place to rest and be thankful. Celebrating Raptors championship and things got out of hand and we had to run for our safety. We finally made it here and rested. Beautiful atmosphere and inspiring.

The St. James Cathedral with an unusual nave, you always experience a surprise in churches. St. James was once the tallest building in Toronto.
The Anglican St. James Cathedral in Toronto, Canada is one of the oldest parishes in the city. It was founded in 1797; the sacral building was completed in 1844.

It's quiet and peaceful. One can relax and unwind with a little prayer.make a donation, every penny counts. Its open all 365 days. St James park is located nearby, which is another place to find some peace in the city.

Magnificent architecture with amazing details, rich history and full of stories! Beautiful stained glass! The Queen was here for mass during her visit! Used to walk by the church every week! One of the churches I would remember forever and enjoy telling people about.

I was married here back in June and it was the best experience. I'll never forget it. One partner has to be baptized Anglican in order to be married. Rev. Louise was wonderful to work with, made sure our big wedding party was in check and knew what to do for the big day and her communications were excellent. Lisa was also a pleasure to communicate back n forth with on all the planning. Not to mention the church itself is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend for a ceremony if you're Anglican.

Beautiful Cathedral close to St. Lawrence market so if you're around the market, a walk to here is just a few minutes. The surrounding is nice too. You can sit and relax and there's this tiny garden in front of it.

Had an opportunity to walk around The Cathedral Church of St. James for the first time living in Toronto. Really amazing building if you are standing in front and looking up at the work that went into building this church years ago.

Beautiful cathedral with stunning stained glass windows. Conveniently located downtown Toronto within walking distance of Union Station (UP Express from the airport).

Plenty of green space and benches surround the church which makes it a great place for a break during the day. If you sit in the park however, beware of the large amount of birds... They seem to enjoy relocating frequently and aren't afraid to fly into a person! Haha

There was a welcome sign at the entrance and it was easy to enter. It was a beautiful church with very beautiful stained glass. The appearance is beautiful and it is fun just to walk around the church. It is a recommended place for those who like the church. Of course, the viewing was free.
