For a very small, very old private school, what you see is what you get. While I do believe the professors' hearts are in the right place, the administration's budget is not. Tuition was downright ridiculous, unless you qualified for a large amount of financial aid( meaning, if you are a middle class student, not too poor but not rich enough to afford $8,000 a semester AFTER loans, this is not the place for you). Many of the "programs" and "degree options" do not result in any kind of certification, but they do offer bridge programs, so that after you spend 4 years and your life savings on your degree, you can transfer to a school where you can actually become certified in your field. The religious/reading classes were very interesting, but do not take them unless you plan on graduating from here, because the credits do not transfer. I don't care how many times they tell you that they do, THEY DO NOT TRANSFER. If you are an athlete or an aspiring Buckley who qualifies for amazing financial aid, this is your home. If not, but you really want to go here, get your associates at a JuCo first, then transfer in and save some money.
Happy Hunger Games.
Faculty is great and shows true compassion for their students.
