I was delighted to revisit East of Paradise. It's a couple since I was there last. So fine with the modernization - especially the basement with exit is perfect. Love both the patina and the modern touch in the decor. A place with soul and coziness.

Super cozy cinema in the center of Aarhus. If you love movies but would like a slightly more cozy and intimate cinema experience, then this is the place for you. They show both more mainstream and popular films, but also films that can almost only be found in East of Paradise.

I can not recommend going elsewhere in Aarhus to see your film. A really cool place especially after their restorations of the interior. It's always a pleasure to be in East of Paradise! There is a great atmosphere, and their selection of shows is really good - with both great movies and movies not played in many cinemas.

A mighty cozy place. Adds to the experience of being in the old building. Different film selection in the form of fewer blockbusters and more small Danish / European productions. There are sofa seats if you go off as a couple - totally romantic. Only minus is the lack of popcorn which (despite the indie / alternative cinema concept) should be part of every cinema experience :)

Nice with a steak with room for all the "crooked and knowing" movies.
