Amazing food, knowledgable and friendly staff, huge selection of fantastic wines. This has become my all time favorite place. I love that they change their menu with the seasons too... Definitely worth the money every time.

The food was excellent, however what we were truly impressed with was the service. Matthew was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He clearly was very experienced and went above and beyond to provide top quality service. We will for sure be returning.
My significant other and I came here for his birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Our waiter, Matthew, was knowledgeable, attentive, and charming. The food, all of it, was extremely flavorful and delicious. We ordered the tuna bruschetta, calamari, arancini (risotto balls) and the apple crostata - all were perfectly prepared. The wine we ordered was presented elegantly by our waiter! We definitely will be back.
Great ambiance but be cautious of the wine prices. Shame on me I found out after the fact it was $14. Maybe that's why it was so good. Also the cheese & salami plates are overpriced. 3 selections for $17? Throw in some olives and maybe it'll be with it.
The food is delicious. Their menu changes seasonally. We love the tapas portions, plenty to share. The wine selection is vast and the staff is fantastic!
Creative small plates, mostly italian. Large selection of wines to pair with your foods. Friendly atmosphere and service is usually pretty quick. Great place to stop before an event at the Meadowlands.
My wine was terrible. Luckily, the waiter changed it for me, with no charge. Service was good, but the food was subpar, horrible. Appetizer came out at the same time as the entree. Everything came out way too quickly for it to have been cooked. This was microwaved meals. Never going back!
I love this place. I have been here a few times, my favorite server Cindy always gets us off to a great start. The food is fantastic and small plates are great for sharing.
I have been here a few times now, and feel compelled to leave a review as it seems a misunderstanding of the term "Italian Tapas" has lead to a lower review score than this place deserves.
If you are unfamiliar with Tapas, this place exclusively serves "small plates", intended for sharing amongst your table. Generally when my friends and I have gone to Spuntino we have ordered a couple items from each menu header (more than a dozen items for a table of 4) in separate courses. Including dessert and coffee, the bill is normally around $50 per person. As someone else had stated: this is not Denny's pricing, but it is high quality food well worth the price charged.
The wine list is excellent, and you will not find another place with as many wines offered by the glass. The Reserve Wine List is a terrific value for rare and hard-to-find wines at cellar (not restaurant mark-up) prices. The wine steward spoke with us for more than 15 minutes about the wine program and helped us select a great wine, much of which we were told comes from the owner's personal collection!
To finalize, this restaurant is not quite the same as all the rest out there, but if you're interested in a fun time, great food, and you are not averse to paying more than $20 for a meal, it is absolutely worth it.
Food quality has gone down from the last time we went there ! Except for arugula salad everything else was just ok or even below ok! Fungi risotto was watery and tasteless! Eggplant meatballs too tangy not much flavor! Either chef changed or they are not paying to attention to serving good and tasty food
Don't ever go if you're really hungry lol...you will leave hungry or eat just 1 slice of bread for the brushetta appetizer....it just doesn't make sense to me. #micro-portions
Loud, very loud! Food was warm more cool and not hot at all. Quite the opposite from the last time we were there. Not sure if I would go back. Pretty expensive for the size ya get. I mean let's be real here!
