Good food, slightly overpriced, staff acts as if they are doing you a favor. I have not been there in almost 20 years, but that is exactly how I would describe "world famous" Elaine's on Manhattan's upper East side.
Of course this is simply IMHO

HORRIBLE! order baskets from them every year, and this year one of the people passed away suddenly and I did not pick up the basket yet they will not work with me to refund the money. We will never go back there. The owner is so rude and disrespectful never in my life have i dealt with a business operated this way. Definitely STAY AWAY. DO NOT RECOMMEND. THE OWNER IS DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, AND NASTY. WHAT A WAY TO RUIN THE HOLIDAYS.

Great place for takeout! But very pricey so be prepared. They have a huge selection everything from hot food, sushi, pizza, juice bar, all kinds of desserts. I love this place for when I don't feel like cooking and want to pick up something quick.

WILL NEVER RETURN TO KITCHEN KABARET!!!! Today, I had limited time to get lunch and I was desperate, so went to Kitchen Kabaret, picked out a large pre-made salad with a lot of romaine lettuce. When I was paying the cashier, I asked for 3 blue cheese dressings that come in a tiny plastic container. There was a tall man in glasses who works there, maybe a supervisor, who said no and gave the cashier 2 small blue cheese dressings. THE INSULTING CUSTOMER CARE IS ATROCIOUS. Being stingy with salad dressing is a low that I can't fathom. Since i work in customer service, I will spread the word how awful Kitchen Kabaret treats their customers.

Either my taste buds is now all grown up or that the food just isn't as good anymore. Been coming to Cha Cha Cha for years and especially going to the Haight location. Seem to remember the food was delicious but my visit yesterday wasn't as good as before.

My favorite was always their **Cajun Shrimp but yesterday it seems to be missing some spices and the dish wasn't hot. It was just warm, shouldn't it be served hot? Also order their **Marinated Chicken Wings. It was okay nothing special. We got their special tapas as well, **Seafood Curry. This was very tasty but watery curry. **recommended to order a side order of rice or something. I also order some sangria. The glass was super small and taste just okay. Prices went up, quality went down. Don't see myself coming back anytime soon.

I called to ask if they had caviar for New Years and spoke to two people in the store. They said to ask for Ray at the deli counter when I got there. In addition to my conversation, the hold music stated that caviar was available and delivered daily. When I arrived the staff said what I was told on the phone must have been a joke and they don t have any.

I left the store feeling so insulted. I called again to let them know what happened and a third person said they haven t sold caviar in years, contradicting the two people I spoke two at first, as well as the information relayed while I was on hold. I called first to make sure this kind of thing wouldn t happen, especially during a COVID.

My advice is only go here if you want to be made a joke.

The coffee has gotten worse here. Absolutely putrid. And the food was never good either. I think the only edible item here is the omelette station. Same guy making eggs for years. A pro. Wish they finally shut this place and someone else take over.

Over priced and full of rich snobs who think they can park anywhere (like on the sidewalk). Everyone here thinks they are entitled to the world and anything in it. Wait in line and ask your question when its your turn like everyone else. Pay attention to those around you and move out of the way for passerbys. Park respectfully and walk like everyone else.

This is the place to go for a delicious lunch. This restaurant offers a trifecta of food varieties, such as, soups, salads, custom sandwiches, fresh sushi, pizza, countless deserts, and amazing coffee. There is a nice seating area off to the left, near the barista counter. This place does get very busy during lunch hour, so I would recommend getting there before noon. It is located north off exit 39 of the L.I.E. I personally love the chicken cutlet sandwich, but all of their food is enjoyable for anyone. Take care and God bless!

I have been a fan of this local spot since middle school. My mom would take me here for sushi or pizza after school, and I m happy to say both are still amazing over a decade later.

KK s salad bar is one not to miss they have every topping you could want and plenty I ve never thought of before. Great sandwiches, be on the look out to get here early the lunch line is always out the door.

The food here is great, but the prices are out of control!!! Be careful when ordering food by the pound. We are used to seeing things priced by the pound in most stores. Here items are priced by the HALF POUND!!! So, when you order chicken salad and sign says $7.99, that's for HALF pound!! In other words, chicken salad here costs $15 a pound, YIKES!!! That's more than some places in the city

Food was good. Calamari is excellent. Lobster roll was dry for $29! Overpriced. But fish and chips are good. Reasonably priced. Burgers reasonably priced. Bun was dry. Fries were great. For some reason, service took a long time. We had to switch servers. I expect this level of speed on a packed Friday night. It was slow. I would go again.

Food is great and rarley get an order wrong, but the prices are $1 - $2 higher on all items across the board. Placing orders for delivery sometimes is more difficult than needs to be when they transfer you to three or four people every time you call. Drivers are very courteous.

Man they make good food.

Man they make good food.

I normally just get the pizza but on my last couple visit I have tried the different sandwiches. I definitely recommend both!

They have a wide variety of food and drinks; easily fulfilling anyone's need. It's a clean restaurant with friendly staff and plenty of seats!

Well it is expensive... Everything is very good!

High Quality sandwich, sushi, subs, deli, omelette, pizza, store. Lots of neat little food things here, though very pricey. Always busy at lunch but worth stopping by if you are hungry and want something new. It basically has something for everyone and the staff is very helpful and nice.

I am so happy this place is closed because it used to make Saxon Avenue smell like a burnt char pit of ash. The smell that it contaminated the neighborhood with will not be missed. Food was expensive. Adios.
