Great environment and food but yes it s definitely overpriced

We were not familiar with Italian style tapas. This was excellent. We especially enjoyed the seared tuna bruschetta and the shrimp scampi brushetta. We shared a number of small, well prepared plates. We asked many questions and were well treated by the management & staff. It was a very good experience.

The food here is always amazing. Love the small plates idea it let's you try a bunch of differnt things. As well as the menu changing seasonally.

Came in last Saturday with two other friends. We enjoyed ourselves. Tapas was very good but a little expensive. Very good wine list but two that we wanted they where out of ( we where getting bottles). I would come back.

I forgot to leave a review from my visit a few months back. The food was mediocre at best and the hostess was extremely rude. I would not recommend this place. Clifton and the surrounding neighborhoods have much better pizza and wine bars.

One of my absolute spots in New Jersey. Absolutely delightful atmosphere. Out of this world food. It is tapas style food so you re able to try a bunch of stuff on the menu. Awesome staff. Great drinks. I have to mention great food again... I m kinda biased though as it is one of my favorites. I travel almost 45 minutes to come here. Super worth it. I definitely recommend it!!!

I can't stop thinking of how delicious the food was. The service was remarkable. Everyone shows concern. Ambiance is pleasant and comfortable. They even have a room for rent.

My hubby Chris & I love this place!! The staff and managers are beyond accommodating! We decided to have our baby shower here a couple of weeks ago and by far the best decision ever made! The entire staff, especially Sara & Nuno made sure the day went off smoothly. Sara set everything up and followed through will all details for a perfect day! The servers kept my family and friends happy the entire time! The food was amazing and I am still getting rave reviews about my shower! Luke and the bar staff kept the drinks coming which kept my family happy! We have been guests since you opened and we have never ever had a bad experience! Spuntinos is one of the best local spots for my hubby & I to kick back and relax!

It s a great dining experience .. food is delicious. A bit pricey when things add up but that s just how tapas works at most places. I love going here for celebratory dinners w/ friends. The burrata is my fave.

I don't know about this place other than our waitress Cindy the place was overrated. Looks good from the outside but the food are serve is Small Portions. Not suitable for big people either tall or round. Portion size it's like a French restaurant not an Italian one. I thought an Italian restaurant you supposed to leave in a full stomach

Great time here. The sangria is fantastic, food was great and came out looking almost artistic on the plates. Overall 5 out of 5. Will be returning here for sure.

Went there today lunch had short rib truffle special and also root vegetables both were delicious for dessert went off died for chocolate truffle wow was that phenomenal servers very attentive nice and quiet love the booths

Tapas is a great way to experience a variety of foods. IMO, it beats picking one item and hoping it works out. The restaurant atmosphere is excellent and the staff was knowledgable. Wine selection was amazing.

Great food, great service, nice atmosphere. With generous tip, expect to pay $50-$60 for two people. This isn't overpriced for the quality of food and service. This isn't Denny's. Ordering 6 Tapas (samplers...) is average for 2 people. the orders came out quickly. We'll be back for sure!

The staff is very attentive. Our drinks and water glasses were always full. The food was very good. I would recommend. Just remember it's tapas. Very small portions so you may want to order two of everything. The prices are a bit high on some items.

I understand the concept of tapas but the dishes here are ridiculously small! Food was delicious but way overpriced for what you get. Super small dishes - what a joke! Won t be back.

Very attentive service and good Italian comfort food. I was at Spuntino's for a party and told the waitress I had a dairy allergy. From that point on the staff went over and above to make sure I was able to enjoy the party without worrying about what I can or can not eat.
The atmosphere is warm and casual. The room itself is loud so no worries with children but not for quite conversation. The wine and beer selection is satisfactory. I would recommend the buccattini with pancetta. The smokey flavor of the sauteed pancetta, onions and fresh tomato gravy is deliciously hearty.
IMO go try this place and enjoy the good food and service.

Always good food and an interesting approach to dining. Would love it if the dishes were a little bigger so more sharing could happen.

We had a one in a million waitress, Cindy. She made sure our dinner went perfect even with a couple of jokes thrown in. Food was delicious and served promptly even when we kept adding on additional small plates. But I guess that is what you do at Spuntino

Great place for dates, meetings and time with the family. A really cool vibe that's hard to find in Jersey. The bartenders are the best!

So good I m writing this review in between bites so I don t forget to tell ppl how amazing this place is. Everything is delicious, & fresh. The crispy octopus will change your life. The portions are great (not gut busters, not microscopic) you can very easily get comfortably full without spending a million dollars. Speaking of a million dollars, can we talk price? The quality, & service are excellent and so are the prices. As a 15 year nyc resident I have paid trifold for disgusting food. This place is a gem. Bring a date, bring your kids , the dining room has a very versatile ambience that can suit a multitude of needs. Booth seating, high top tables, and lower more romantic set ups. It s your world. Winning. Come here. It s awesome.

I love the wine selection and small plates. This is a great spot to come for Italian style tapas and wine. It's one of my favorites in the area to sit at the bar, have a glass of wine and some small plates of food to snack on.After a recent visit, I had a better experience than in the past. Food was fresh, drinks were good, and the staff was great. I personally like the spicy pepperoni pizza with honey the best. Its different but worth the try. They have a really good drink and wine selection too. Their zeppolies are a must have if you leave room! Will be back to try more in the near future!

Absolutely love this place. Somehow this place feels like an old factory with a very hip and trendy Vibe but without the hipsters. Everything is fantastic. Food is always great and of good quality. We absolutely love this place. This is a great place to go with a bunch of friends and they have a great Happy Hour.

THE FOOD IS THE BEST but there is something bad I did not do take a picture

I leave comments either for outstanding or horrific experiences, and the latter usually occurs more common. However, Spuntino has been one of the few exceptions. Second time there tonight, within 1/2 hr after seated, more than 3 different personals asked me how I was doing and if everything was fine. My dessert was delivered late, so the manager wrote it off. I don't know if they hold shares of the place but they certainly act like they do. For all restaurants, food is priority, but Spuntino is able to succeed not only in their delectable nibbles but also their warm, welcoming attitude overall. Great job, carry on!

Had dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant was very crowded, so we ate at the bar. The food was delicious. The prosciutto bruschetta, delicious. The Pasta Bolognese, delicious. The servers were very friendly and helpful. However, the food preparation was pretty slow. Understandable as the restaurant was very crowded but still disappointing. Would definitely return but maybe not on a Friday night.

I often take my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are great and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Whenever we go to this place we have a gorgeous time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

This place was recommended to me so I checked it out on Yelp and tried it out based on the rating and reviews. I wasn't disappointed... The food that we had was really good and in my opinion very reasonably priced. Some highlights were the seared tuna bruschetta, the brussel sprouts, rigatoni bolognese, mussels, and the mixed grill (lamb chops, flat iron steak, Italian sausage, grilled sausage, and grilled chicken with chianti sauce and salsa verde), and the beet/watercress salad. Big wine selection as well... And the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I was too excited to try everything that I totally forgot to take pictures of the dishes. Don't miss this place if you're ever in the area.
