Authentic Italian cuisine with a warm and unassuming but elegant ambiance. The owner is also really nice and will stop by the table and check on how everyone is doing. Favorite dishes so far: pumpkin ravioli and spaghetti bolognese, but have yet to try many of the others. Lots of healthy options too and a good and decently priced wine list. Love this place!

The lasagna was an epiphany. I didn't know pasta could melt in the mouth quite so smoothly and beautifully. My only regret is every other Italian dish I've had up to this one.
This place was AMAZING!! This is our last night here visiting my nephew so we came here for dinner. I am so glad we did!! They are extremely nice, welcoming and accommodating!! The food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced!! I can't wait to come back! This will be our spot!!!
I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. The staff is amazing and the food is delectable. The prices are also very reasonable. I have eaten pasta in Italy and when I visit Spumante I feel like I am in Italy again. Make the experience extra special by dressing up and ordering wine. Pro tip, use the valet. You can park for free on the side of the road, but it s limited, and who wants to walk after you ve eaten the best pasta of your life?
Staff was friendly, food was decent. Nothing special for the price. Place is very dimly lit. Service was pretty slow (and there were only four tables so it s not like the one waiter was busy) and parking is $4 extra.
We love Joe and Spumante. The food is great and the staff is always warm and welcoming. We have celebrated so many birthdays and special occasions there through the years, including our wedding. Spumante is like our dining room away from home.
We enjoy going out. Last night we went to this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a delightful experience there with high-qulity food and a nice stuff and a distinguished chef. We added this venue in our list and we shall definitely come back soon. We warmly recommend.
This Italian restaurant was fantastic. I have never been to LA and this restaurant was recommended by a local which turned out to be a great choice. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the ravioli. The food was amazing and it wasn't your typical Italian restaurant in a sense that all pasta has the same taste, but rather our food it's own flavor profile. This place is really nice and is a great option for date nights. A little pricey, but totally worth it to stop in. Service is outstanding and couldn't have asked for anything more from our waiter.
Spumante recently entered my top restaurant experiences (ever) due to its winning combination of delicious food and truly delightful staff. Regarding the food, our menu was a great mix of simplicity and creativity, superbly prepared and beautifully presented. Flavors were in perfect balance and the servings were to just the right proportions. I could go on and on and on there. But what made the night extra, extra wonderful though, was the team. We were celebrating a very special occasion and from start to finish they did so many things that they didn't have to do, but that made the night truly unforgettable.
This. Place. Is. Epic. We were looking for some place to eat as a family for our last day in LA. Spumante was across the street from my son's apt in NOHO. When we walked in, the owner met us at the door and made us feel at home immediately. We had shrimp fettuccine, farfalle pollo, salmon linguine, linguine cossi(sp), to name a few. The food was heavenly. Everything was obviously cooked from scratch. The pasta was perfect. The pesto was amazing! THIS IS A MUST VISIT if you are in the area!!
I went to a rehearsal dinner here and it was a lovely spot with a truly wonderful staff. I probably would have ordered something other than chicken, but it was good.
Wow, simply Wow! Spumante could use 10 stars for review. We were a little late. A bottle of Malbec was paired with asparagus and a bowl of mushroom soup. I also should have ordered a cup of the soup. Very flavorful and not too hot. The asparagus were drizzled with a wonderful dressing (I forgot to ask what it was). I'd never had asparagus is that way, and cold too.
We had the filet mignon and also risotto. The filet was the best I have had. The carrots were also seasoned to perfection. The risotto, with clams, shrimp, and calamari was amazing. I had a glass of blanc with it. Then for dessert, Grappa and Port.
This being my 1st time will certainly not be my last. Even the customers next to us were generous and talkative, so much I bought a bottle of wine to go.
I have moved here recently and am starting a new life. I met the very kind, Joseph before I went to Spumanti and was delighted to see he was the owner. This is like being a a Ristorante de Italia. My sons and I need a regular fix for their amazing food, great service and perfectly made martini! Bravo!!! to Joseph and amazing staff!
Spumante has been our "go to" restaurant for at least 25 years, from back when it was on Ventura Boulevard. We celebrate holidays, birthdays, graduations - you name the occasion and we're at Spumante's celebrating it. And all the evenings in between. Joe's sand dabs, Hawaiian shrimp, farfalle con pollo are all our family's staples!
Eating at Spumante Restaurant has become a Christmas tradition. This year we ordered the Calamari Fritti for our appetizer which was lightly breaded and served with a marinara sauce.
Although the service here is amazing, the food wasn't as flavorful as I expected. I am Italian and have been looking for a great Italian place to eat at. A friend of mine recommended Spumante so we gave it a try. I was expecting a lot more taste to the food. I might go and give it another chance but I know my chicken parm wasn't up to par.
The service was great. I couldn't decide between the pumpkin ravioli and the Farfalle Pollo, and even though I went with the latter, the waiter split the difference and gave me a half order of each. It was a great surprise. The Farfalle was also very good.
A fabulous restaurant with a classy vibe! The owner has a great personality with a touch of humor. An enjoyable evening with outstanding food and service! A very reasonable price for top of the line entrees.
This is another Little Gym in North Hollywood NoHo Art District the food is delicious the service is very good very romantic vibe to the restaurant very cozy and comfortable I recommend this place highly for Italian food
Came here Saturday night with my partner and a couple of friends. Food was great and service was good. I ordered the lasagna. It was cooked uniquely from what I m used to but nonetheless it was really good. The ambience was nice as well! Little pricier but I d say it s worth it.
Delicious, I ordered Hawaiian shrimps has three very big shrimps on them and pasta with delicious sauce U dont remember what they call. My husband gad linguine salmon very good as well and for desert we had apple strudel with vanilla ice cream the student was very yummy and fortunately no picture, the foods look so goid so I just forgot to take pictures.
As my friend puts it, "this is the kind of place where LA types come to do business!" And he's right, we're a couple of LA types who went there to do business. The food is top notch. Simple and small menu. Get the elephant garlic!
This is an excellent restaurant in Noho that has very good Italian cuisine. We always get the calimari and lasagna. Whatever they use for their marinara sauce is worth coming back again and again. The service is quite good and the prices reasonable. Will definitely come back.
Great customer service, clean place. Food was very good( lobster ravioli, calamari, linguine diavolo, cheese ravioli) except that my daughter didn't like her portobello pizza, she said was ok.
I celebrated my graduation last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that it was a magnificent evening and the restaurant was surely one of the reasons for the successful event. The stuff cooperated in a gorgeous style, the meals were delicious and my guests were very happy. We shall absolutely come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.
This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the valley! The food is 5-star-- so flavorful and rich, like a true Italian chef! My boyfriend and I always know to come here when we are craving Italian food with a perfect atmosphere. The place is never too noisy which I surely appreciate. It is perfectly lit and the wait staff are on top of their game. Always checking in on us and seeing if we need anything. The food-- my boyfriend's go-to is the Linguine Diavola which is a spicy marinara with shrimp. So much flavor and the acidity was perfect. As for me, my dish is the linguine salmone that is simply spectacular. It's linguine noodles in a creamy vodka sauce with peas, spinach, and shallots. Not too too creamy where it makes the fish heavy, rather it's light and compliments the salmon very well. I never regret ordering it! Next time I look forward to ordering the lasagna! We had bruschetta as an appetizer and is the perfect way to start a meal. Love the aroma and garlic taste. And last but not least the tiramisu!! The creme is so decadent and almost has a slight tartness to it like cream cheese. It's amazing. Cheers to Spumante and for supplying me with the best Italian food and wine!
Oh My Goodness!!! This place is a dream for your taste buds. I had the Linguine Salmone and it melted in my mouth as I melted into the moment. Great dinner for our family. Joe added such a great warm and welcoming atmosphere. So wonderful. You have to eat here if you are in North Hollywood.
Amazing food and amazing service. You really can't go wrong with anything you order. Also, save room for desert. Simple desert options but they are very good.
Fantastic restaurant. High quality food, prepared perfectly. Very nice owner, who's doing a great job during these tough COVID19 times. I Highly recommend giving Spumante a try. Pick up the food yourself, and tip the restaurant!
This place is a unique combination of pizzeria, fine dining and it delivers for whatever you expect. They make great pasta, their pizza is good, their oysters are fresh and full of flavor.
FOOD WAS GOOD, LASAGNA, GOOD SERVICE....THE ONLY THING I DON' T LIKE TO MUCH IS BEING SEATED NEXT TO EVERYONE, IT SEEM RESTAURANT LIKE BUNCHING UP CUSTOMERS ALL IN ONE AREA.AND THAT IS USUALLY FOR THE CONVENIENCEOF THE WAITERS......I LIKE MY SPACE , SEAT ME AWAY FROM OTHERS...
Absolutely wonderful! The food and service simply can not be beat. I confess to an addiction to the warm spinach salad but it's all soo good. And so wonderful to see Joe and Alex
Best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles! We've been there twice now. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is great and the owner is always there making sure everything is perfect. The calamari is delicious and the portion is huge. Also, the lobster ravioli and the risotto di mare are our "go tos"
I come here a lot with my mother named Jennifer and my brother. I ve never had a disappointment with food or service. My favorite dish is the spaghetti bolognese. The owner Joe always welcomes us in. And Alex always takes great care of us. Every time I eat there I am ready for my next visit. Overall, you can t go wrong with this restaurant.
Great service and food with reasonable prices. The owner was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. Would love to have this restaurant in my hometown! Will go back anytime we are in town.
The food was great! I had the linguine-cozze and it was excellent! The lobster bisque was everything!!!!! And The owner treated me and my family so well! He made us feel right at home!
