Love this place. Potatoes are huge and always taste great. It doesn't take long to get your food either.

They have amazing potatoes no doubt! But if you want anything special done to your spud.. dont expect it to be done right the first time.

This place blew me away! Which says a lot cuz I'm from Idaho! Lol

place has gone downhill a bit in recent years, seems a bit dingy now inside. Potatoes are still great though.

They cook their potatoes in chicken broth. Even the veggie one. Got sick.

Not a chain (second location in NB), nice variety of dressed up spuds plus burgers. Limited seating, so might want to make it "to go."

So so so good!! I got the Frito pie spud and my husband got the chicken fried steak. Both were so yummy! They were bigger than we though so maybe next time we will split. Haha
We also got the fried broccoli and oh my goodness! 10/10 would recommend!

Y'all could of got 5 but my Spud was still kinda hard . Meat was delicious got the Philly cheese steak Spud . I can only imagine if it was soft all the way thru

Best brisket potato I've had.. ever! They use real, quality cheese. Oh man, it was so good I'll make it a point to drop in if I'm ever in the area again.

Yummy potato! Not impressed with the sandwiches. But ya know it's call Spud Ranch not Sandwich Ranch so I suppose I should've ordered a Spud.

What a great little find. Visiting San Marco's for a few days. Looking around for something different for dinner. Huge potatoes. Massive fillings. 5 thumbs up!

For my first time experience I called in a delivery order from Spud Ranch at the San Marcos location. This ditzy waitress took my order and was very rude to me. She then told me that there would be an hour wait for my food. When my waiting time came to an hour and a half I called back asking where my food was. The same ditzy girl answered the phone and started making up excuses and would not let me talk. She began yelling at a coworker demanding that he needed to deliver my food. I asked how long that wait would be, and she said 30 more minutes. This waitress made me feel that my service and order wasn't important. I got a refund after waiting an hour and a half for nothing. I would not recommend this place to anyone

I m vegetarian and have an anxiety disorder that has caused me to have a phobia of death, thus why I cannot eat meat. Asked for a potato without chicken on it, and almost on cue I got a chunk of chicken in my mouth. I can t eat this anymore and don t plan to go back.

My potato was super yummy but it took a veryyyyy long time to get it. We waited almost 30 minutes in store for 2 potatoes. I was told by other customers this wasnt normal, so my review is primarily based on the quality of food. These are so creative and fun so I enjoy coming.

For dinner, my family went here today. Based on what everyone else ordered we would say the fried pickles are awesome, along with the chicken enchilada spud, Texas melt, and Burger. Highly recommendable! Would come here again.

The chicken terriaki spud is a hidden gem! I love the food and the fact that they deliver. Just wished they stayed open a bit later!

Great place for lunch or a quick bite. Economic, imaginative spuds and items besides spuds too. 4 stars for limited seating. Small, you'll miss it if you're not careful

This is very good. Think of it as a 2 for 1 meal place. I had the chicken fried chicken Spud and I was full after. It comes out hot and fresh. The chicken was good and the gravy really set it off. Don't hesitate to go if you see this place. They have plenty of combinations so you won't be dissappointed.

Absolutely love the food but the cashier girl is always irritable and they called me about my online order to make sure it wasn't a Favor order.

The potatoes are great and are more than expected!!! Great toppings on the spuds.....

Spud ranch Needs to get back to the good service they use to provide Been going here for ages Last visit was such a disappointment will be spending $$ at Kobe Japanese !!! our last visit there cleanliness standard have went down as well as there greedy side coming out from one of their associates when asking for some sour cream when adequate sour cream was not applied nobody likes a dry potatoe!!!! So disappointed spud ranch!!

Had a Philly cheese steak spud and the macaroni spud on a separate visit and they were both delicious.

Love the macaroni spud. Wish they were open later, though.

With a great selection of Potato's Spud Ranch is one of the best places in San Marcos to eat. From brisket to mac and cheese, there is a potato for everyone, not to mention their burgers are great as well.

With a tight dining room, their free delivery is great, but nothing beats the atmosphere of Spud Ranch.

I suggest Spud Ranch to anyone, it is great food.

I had the Frito Pie Spud and added raw onion. It was pretty dang good! The only thing I would suggest is leave the butter out or add it before the toppings and lose the foil before serving. Unother than that the price was good. About $10 with a drink. The only down side is the size of the restaurant. I would recommend this and I will come back to try the steak sandwich!

They were out of spuds when I went, but I had a turkey sandwich with fries which was huge and very good

A lot of reviews say that the fried pickles are great, I d say they re mediocre. I also got a crispy chicken sandwich. Everything was hot and presented nicely, it wasn t bad but it wasn t flavorful or crispy, also side gravy didn t taste like anything. I hate being annoying about food but I don t really think this place was good, everything was kind of cheaply made.

First time visit. Recommended by my daughter. Burgers were great.
