For a while, I thought it was great as my chronic illness at times renders me quite helpless to do anything. Was due for a critical procedure at Newton-Wellesley and had to cancel because Springwell screwed up what they had guaranteed as medical escort.
Help our your fellow citizens and get this place defunded by the state.

Update August 20, 2021: Springwell continues to be a nightmare. For 4 days, I have requested they set up a pickup for me so I can get to appointment Aug. 23 at Brigham. Somehow, they cannot figure out that this is important. They have been absolutely horrific since I became so disabled. Why they receive funding I do not know. Start a new agency with new personnel.

Don't waste your time. They're looking for consumers. Business must be slow. Last time I was told I didn't qualify for their services, just one of those folks who fall through the cracks. I was in dire need too. Why go on,bad service unless you wet the bed or can't shower or feed yourself. Then you'll wait till the cows come home for a health care worker. The nurse came into my place like some re decorater. That should be here that should be there.

This agency is horrible. Caseworkers coming out of social work school who work there are breaking their social work ethical vows. They make arbitrary decisions which endanger elders, have no training in power privilege and oppression, serve policies and funding over people, disregard personal care attendants human rights, hire agencies that don't bother to call when workers don't show up despite multiple complaints, and are astonishingly ineffective in fulfilling their mission. To top it off, say anything and watch them gaslight. This is not a service, it's corporate America.

Sorry, but I got zero help from here. My elderly father has dementia and is not safe, wasted time with many phone conversations and it got nowhere. I had similar negative experience as user below who gave 1 star.
I am thinking of trying them again, but it's most likely another waste of time.... .Will see.
Update: So they got involved because rehab facility called them, not me. This time they want to lock up my father for good wether I want it or not.... That's not exactly the help I was looking for.....

after many years as a client most the time the home makers dont show up or call me early in am that they cant come in. same thing about there cousin iv had alot thing stolen and broke. i cant get my money back or just the home maker just leaves. not to return. i report this and nothing is done to help me no shows stolen items

Springwell is a tremendous resource. They were helpful with questions about care for my Mom. They are knowledgeable about programs and caregivers who can help. Just a highly effective and nice group of caring people. Reach out if Homecare and help is an issue in your family.

My mother is being isolated in a nursing home by a family member who is robbing her estate and not allowing family members to visit her. There is a Bill called the Robert Fauk bill that recognizes isolating the helpless elderly from family members is ELDER ABUSE. Springwell told me my mother doesn't qualify for investigation. All over the internet they tell you to contact your local government over this type of abuse. Springwell does NOTHING!!!
