SpringHill Suites by Marriott Charleston Mount Pleasant Review

Very clean newish hotel and the location is very convenient. The size of the room is also great. Especially loved the space in the bathroom and shower. Would come back for another stay.

The hotel was dog friendly and the employees were pleasant and helpful. Has a small outside pool, small business center, meeting room. Breakfast was available from 7-9, coffee 24/7 by check-in counter. The only thing not great was I HATE having to ask to TP at a Hotel!! But thank you staff for being pleasant!!

Terrible experience. There is NO CONTINENTAL breakfast as advertised online, BUT they have a white paper bag with a cold prewrapped MINI steak burrito, a nutigrain bar, and a 4oz bottle of water as your continental breakfast. Absolutely the More

Great location to downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. Check-in was very easy with friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast was provided. The host was super accommodating and hospitable.

We took a short trip to Charleston SC, arriving late in the afternoon and anticipating a stay over. Charleston was quiet and manageable on Christmas Eve, Eve a nice presence of people on the streets. The shops of downtown Charleston were conservatively festive to keep costs down.

We looked at staying downtown proper at some of the historical properties, but my travel mate just doesn't do those so well. We found the Spring Hill Suites to be comfortably located on a quiet stretch near to but not at US17. The hotel also has the advantage of covered parking as a part of the flooding strategy to put the Registration above street level.

The hotel sustains the standard we anticipate from Springhill Suites and we enjoyed our stay.

Very impressed. Rooms are very nice and seem well cleaned. Employees are super friendly! I find it funny their sign needs Windows updates.

Very clean, large, comfortable room for my 10 year old son and me. Oversize bathroom is great; oversize closet had plenty of room for one large suitcase. 3 minute drive to Yorktown and Patriot's Point and easy access to everything in Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. As a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member I'm picky about hotels and for the money, this is one of the best of the nearly 100 Marriott properties at which I've stayed.

Clean, modern design. Only problem is the in-room air conditioning system is loud and cannot be turned completely off. I would not stay here again. UPDATE: Manager - Christopher, became aware of the situation later in the day, immediately comped the night that the problem occurred and seemed genuinely concerned. Moving from 2, to 5 stars. Would definitely give this business another try.
