Springboard Trust is a non-profit organization that aims to empower New Zealand principals with the necessary skills and knowledge to improve student outcomes. The organization delivers unique cross-sector learning and development programs that equip principals with the tools they need to lead their schools effectively.

Our Programs
Springboard Trust offers a range of programs designed specifically for school leaders. Our flagship program is the Strategic Leadership for Principals Program (SLPP), which provides intensive training over 12 months. The program covers topics such as strategic planning, change management, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
In addition to SLPP, we also offer shorter courses on specific topics such as data analysis and digital technology. These courses are designed to provide targeted support where it is needed most.
All our programs are delivered by experienced facilitators who have worked in education themselves. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each session, ensuring that participants receive high-quality training that is relevant to their needs.
Our Impact
Since our inception in 2007, Springboard Trust has worked with over 1,000 principals across New Zealand. Our impact has been significant - independent evaluations have shown that schools led by SLPP graduates outperform other schools on key measures such as NCEA pass rates and student attendance.
We are proud of the impact we have had on education in New Zealand so far but recognize there is still much work to be done. We remain committed to supporting school leaders so they can continue improving outcomes for all students.
