The crew was great. They worked very clean. They worked quick and were very thorough. We has some rot that they took care of for us. They did a fabulous job with the repairs. David Spradlin was very sweet and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions. And the cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Spradlin Construction.
Paul Spradlin and his crew were fantastic! Our home is all brick except for the chimney which was covered in a material that deteriorates over time. We didn't know who in construction handled this type of issue. The only estimate that we got was a few years ago, told us they would have to tear it down and see what was there before they could give an estimate. I was so happy to get a recommendation for Spradlin Construction. Paul came and within 5 minutes knew what had to be done, how long it took and the pricing (which was very reasonable). I had a beautiful new chimney in one day covered in vinyl siding that will not need to be replaced again for a very long time, if ever. Paul sent me pictures of the whole process and even helped with the color choice. He ordered a customized chimney cap and it looks amazing. My daughter is in real estate and had a customer with exactly the same chimney issues that we had and asked for Paul's contact information. He did the same great job for them and they thanked me for the wonderful recommendation. Paul also does roofing, gutters, skylights and lots more. I highly recommend Spradlin Construction.
Paul and his team are amazing. I called after a recent storm to get my roof inspected. They found damage and helped me through my entire insurance claim process. I highly recommend them.
First, I'll say that Paul strikes me as a nice guy. It's one of the reasons I tried to use his company. Unfortunately, after receiving a quote, being told work on the roof would be started after a three week wait, waiting those three weeks, then not receiving a response to my texts, Paul told me he'd forgotten about his commitment as he was too busy. He also let me know he had confused our job for another. I expressed to Paul that his handling of this was very unprofessional and I'll be moving on with another company. I hate to leave a negative review, and I'm typically a loyal, easy to please customer, but despite Paul's friendliness, I feel that he has wasted a lot of our time when he could have just said no from the start. Honoring commitments made seems to be an aspect of service uncommon to the roofing industry.
Edit: No Paul, you didn't do a bad job. I had every reason to expect you to do a superb job, but you wasted a good bit of my time by not honoring your commitment. It is also a time investment to try to find, and schedule another contractor to do the work. My time may not be priceless, but it does have some value. Again, I think you're a good guy, and you probably would have done a good job, but the lack of professionalism shown to me merits the review I've given you.

We had a great experience with Paul recently replacing our roof. Paul does what he says he's going to do... when he says he's going to do it. This is a rarity in this day and time. We highly recommend Spradlin.
Spradlin Construction is phenomenal. I needed a new roof, and they did an amazing job. Paul brought out several shingle samples, helped me pick the style and color, and helped guide me through the insurance process. I expected them to do a good job after reading all the positive reviews, but honestly, I was blown away by the job they did. I spent no telling how many hours researching roofing companies in north AL before deciding to go with Spradlin. I definitely won't have to spend all that time again if I ever need more roofing or any other work. Thanks guys
Started with small roof repairs over several years, ended with having them replace my entire roof. In all cases, I could count on what they told me- whether schedule or otherwise- and that's rare these days. Paul followed through with everything we discussed,, the roof looks great and I wouldn't hesitate to have them do any job for me.
