Cozy cafe on Ladesten.

Have a good selection of good cakes and waffles and a sweet, polite service!

The Sponhuset is located just off Ladestien and Trondheimsfjorden in Trondheim. This is a popular eatery to stop by for all hikers, adults as kindergarten children, who travel along the Ladestien or just have the Sponhuset as the sole destination. Here you can buy hot & cold drinks and something to bite in. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors in the garden. You can find your own toilet in the property. The chip house is worth a visit because here there is history in the walls.

Nice and pleasant place, with good food and snacks. Gives only 3 stars due to. incredibly bad coffee (concentrate / syrup). Is deplorable that a cafe can get itself to serve something like that.

Nice views, but I was hoping for a cafe with espresso drinks and it's really just a snack bar. It has bathrooms out side the main building.
