Awesome fun. But they absolutely need bathroom attendants. Whew!

I took my wife here for her birthday and the food was terrific staff was wonderful what more could you want. The vessel was clean.

I went with a group of girlfriends for a special brunch cruise last September. It was more a Caribbean cruise. We had fun. There were different party groups on board but we blended in and had a good time. The food and music was good but the cruise time was short. By the time everyone started to enjoy and dance, the cruise was over.

Great DJ! Good food! Punctual: they ship out when they day they are and dock when they are scheduled to.

I was here for a private event with Google+. It wasn't a particularly fancy trip, but I suppose that's what you make of it. A friend had mentioned that when he had taken the trip, they were trying to keep it a bit classier but the top deck was reserved for a group that was making it a booze cruise. Well, that's what our group was doing. It was pretty fantastic. You can go on the top deck or the front/back decks and enjoy the cityscapes and get some of that, ahem, fresh Hudson air (don't worry, it's not actually gross or anything). I'd just say be a bit cautious of what you choose to wear, ladies. I had a light short skirt that loved to flip upwards when I was in the front of the ship. Next time I'll reevaluate my outfit before a boat ride.

Returned on 12-30-18 for the Jingle Bells cruise. It was ok until the coffee- first a stained cup and then one with a huge crack. The manager apologized and offered another cup, which I declined. Minutes later, the server decided to place another cup of coffee near me anyway. I did not drink it. Although I was once an avid lunch and brunch cruiser, as I was planning a February 1, 2019 dinner cruise. I have changed my mind. I will not support nor engage others in supporting Spirit of New York in the future. 3 stars

This cruise is a scam for Statue of Liberty. They scammed me from Nyc selling me tickets saying I will bypass the line and go direct to ship to Ellis Island. Instead I was taken to NJ and their cruise ship which did not allow us to stop on the Island. They should have stated all this from beginning instead of scamming all of us.

Rawsilk Productions have been doing moonlight cruises with the Spirit of New York for 25 plus years. Our cruise in July 2016 was no different than previous years. EXCELLENT!!!! Margaret Stapleton is awesome, always available to help with anything we need. The staff on the cruise is always on point and caters to our every need. We will continue using the Spirit Entertainment Cruises for all of our cruises. I always recommend the Spirit Entertainment Cruises. Already booked the date for 2018..............

Seating arrangements were ok, but had a big black wall that blocked many views.

Awesome experience of cruising specially for dates and special celebrations. and Food was Awesome, it was so tasty.

I took my mom on the mothers day brunch cruise, and it was perfect. The buffet was delicious, the drinks were awesome, and the entire staff was so great. Our waiter, Robin, was amazing. He really took care of everything, was so sweet, and really made my mom feel special. I would do this again in a heart beat.

The food was delicious. The ambiance was excellent. Our waitress was sooo nice. The weather was perfect. The DJ could have been better, he needed a better play list.

Dinner cruise is def not worth the price. Buffet style food features mash potatoes, ziti, sesame chicken, corn, salad. Let s talk about the drinks. I can understand liquor not being included but to charge me $8 for a fountain drink after I ve already paid $120 to be here is crazy. They also charge you for the simple syrup in lemonade. Like seriously? I felt Nickel and dimed for everything. Lastly parking at the pier is $55 which again is a bit steep to me. If I m paying $120 to go on this cruise that you are then going to nickel and dime me for at least give me a break on parking. I m not saying it should be free (Maybe $15-$25) but $55 on top off everything else is a lot . Overall we had fun but I just don t think it s worth the price point. It should be closer to a $70-$100 price point If you re then going to charge for all the extras and then maybe drop the parking price as well. More than likely won t be back because of the price but was an evening experience I guess.

This was a really entertaining cruise. We were confused why we weren't seated at a window when the cruise was barely half full. Then when we and several other guests reseated ourselves, the wait staff was very rude and informed us that we should have "asked" to move our seats. No we didn't pay for a guaranteed window seat, but I assumed that if window seats were available after all the guaranteed people were seated, we would have that option.

The food was marginally good, so don't go hoping for a 5 star cuisine. The best part of the cruise were the guests and the lovely views around the Hudson. I would recommend this cruise for anyone who wants to get water views of NYC, NJ, and the Statue of Liberty.

It was a good time. We loved the food and experience. This is the best way to see the Statue of Liberty up close. Prices were high but it was an experience.

Went for a birthday party during the lunch time cruise. Tickets are a bit much but the atmosphere is dope . The djs on each floor is cool. One floors felt like a West Indian party then went down to the main deck and it felt like a party in Washington heights . Food was seasoned and delicious . Drinks were good i recommend the strawberry lemonade . A bit sweet but very good.

Took my wife on a lunch cruise around the city for our one year anniversary. Our table was as promised, window seat, bottle of champagne, 1/2 dozen roses and rose petals on the table. we were greeting at the ticket window with a warm welcome and a "happy anniversary". Food was awesome, staff was fantastic and the entertainment was much more than expected. will DEFINITELY be back.

Not alot of food options but i requested a song that was almost 5 minutes long and they didn't even play more than a minute of it because it was bts boy with luv and played the whole song of everything else

Spirit Cruises is awesome! I have been a customer for the past few years, and Spirit has exceed my expectations every time. From the planning process to the actual cruise itself, the experience was pleasant. Spirit provides excellent customer service while hosting amazing cruises/events. Perfect for any occasion, I highly recommend a Spirit Cruise. Special thanks to Margaret for always making the experience amazing!

The food was buffet style and they serve what they advertise so that s that. There s plenty of it so you can go back for seconds or thirds.
I went for Father s Day I believe and the weather was nice enough to stay on the deck for pictures.
The staff is nice and views are just as good.
They open the dance floor towards the end and that was just the best part of the night seeing everyone get down and move.
They have board games and the dress code is honestly whatever you want it to be as long as it s from casual to dressy.
You have to pay for any pictures they take for you so be aware of that.
Coffee is free.
Don t forget to snatch your free cookie when getting off!

We had a great time on the Spirit of New York. The ship was nice, the food was great, and we met some really nice people. Passing under the Brooklyn Bridge and travelling out by the Statue of Liberty was really cool.
We got tons of fantastic pictures and enjoyed our evening very much.

The overall cruise was amazing; but the food. Everyone flooded the bathroom after eating the chicken, but other than that it was amazing. The music and the views were the best parts and were definitely worth it

When my group walked on it smelled of fish but i didn t pay it any kind because we were on a boat but it reeked. The food was mediocre. 4 girls out of my group got their stuff stolen.

I've had the pleasure of participating on a Spirit Cruise at least 5 times, and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experiences. From the facilities to the food to the service, I've enjoyed myself tremendously as we've sailed around Manhattan and taken in some amazing views. We host two trips for our University (for high school students as well as first- year college students), and we've had an easy time coordinating with Margaret to make sure we have a quality experience set up for all of our guests. The staff on board is always attentive, courteous, and make sure we have everything we need. I love working with Spirit Cruises and look forward to next year's outings!

Had a blast. The staff took care of me and wife on our anniversary with free gifts. The service was great the food was great and the views were awesome. Upgraded to the window seat, and it was well worth the investment. Would book here again.

I have an amazing time on the Spirit of New York cruise! We celebrated my sister's bachelorette party and the entire staff was so accommodating. Our waiter Robin (His name tag said Matthew) was so incredibly attentive to us and made our time so special on the cruise. Liam brought us to meet the captain and was so respectful and even went above and beyond by offering my sister his jacket since it was raining and she didn't want to ruin her hair. Captain Carlos was super fun and had a great sense of humor. He let us take so many pictures and wear his hat. and the manager on duty which unfortunately i forgot his name :( was so great and kept checking to see we were having a great time. Thanks spirit of new york!!

The staff and crew were great. The food was excellent.

I booked dinner with a table by the window and free drinks and everything was matched to the height, the well-organized and punctual entrance and the waitress's explanations of it. The only part to give importance is in relation to wines, where only those that have two prices on the menu (Price of the Bottle and the Price of the Glass) are those that are released for unlimited consumption.

The boat travels from Chelsea Piers to the Statue of Liberty at a great speed to take photos, mainly due to the sunset and the possibility of taking photos on the outside of the boat.

The food is of excellent quality and works in the buffet system, which is replaced quickly.

Great experience, our server Maquinta was great, made us feel right at home. Food was great and everyone was very nice. The photographer Frank was also extremely nice. Will definitely go again.

Went on a two-hour tour on the Spirit Cruise for a Sunday lunch. It's a very nice, relaxing activity for a sunny day in NYC. The cruise departed Chelsea Pier toward downtown, passing the Statue of Liberty and eventually reaching Brooklyn Bridge. Then it turned around.

The nicest part of the cruise is the spacious roof deck. There are plenty of tables and chairs so it's the ideal spot to hang out and enjoy the view. There's also a guide (also the DJ) who went over different landmarks throughout the ride.

Lunch is buffet style, with drinks covered. Food was good, but not as good as the view :)

Went on a two hour cruise on the Spirit of New York. Had a great time. The food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. Music constantly playing. View was beautiful. The Statue of Liberty looked breathtaking. I would definitely go again.

I was there celebrate my birthday and got a surprised proposal from my boy friend. The staff made such a fabulous fuss over us and made it in to a much more memorable evening.

Great cruise with adequate buffet and lackluster bar

Had a wonderful time. Surprised that the dance floor was packed. Food, comedy and music were good. The outside view was outstanding! Birthday present to myself. It was well worth it!

The food was good. The drink prices were ridiculous and the drink itself was watered down! I signed a reciete for 19.50 and gave a cash tip. But for some reason my card was charged 24 dollars. The bathroom had absolutely no ventilation and smelled horrid. Leaving the ship they have warm cookie... that was nice of them...

I sincerly wish that I can give this place less than one star. I believe that they took advantage of us because we were just a group of high schoolers going to New York for a trip. They told us to go outside and take pictures with the Statue of Liberty. However. When we came back inside, a number of us found that our money was stolen. Our chaperones and teachers were standing next to our table, so they would ve seen if it was a STUDENT that stole the money. However, the only people that went back to the tables were the STAFF MEMBERS. At first, they blamed the students and asked if the student could return the money to the front. But in all honesty, who would voluntarily return the money in front of a crowd? We then told them that it was a waiter (or possibly waiters) that had stolen the money. They reluctantly added the word employees into the search of the culprit. Our teacher had to argue when them to ask for refund. Finally, at the very end, when the rest of the team left the ship and the teachers stayed, they agreed to give a refund. I am grateful for the refund but the process in between was unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone for the price that they ask for.

I got proposed on Spirit Cruises, a few days ago and it was beautiful! Me and my fiance had a wonderful experience. The food was pretty decent and tasty, the entertainment was great, and we chose a package that allowed us to have open bar. My only complaint is that the seating should be more spacious, my fiance is 6'5 and he was very unforgettable during the trip. Other then that, everything was great, and we will do another one for sure!!!. Thank you Spirit Cruises for making my night so special =D

The Spirit of New York is a great Cruise to relax, have fun, take great photos by New York City landmarks, eat good food and dance it all off. The more than friendly staff provides excellent service and the food is delicious. Order drinks at the bar and head to the dance floor because the DJ is great and what better Ambiance than the New York City skyline and the Hudson River.

We booked a cruise for just about 600 students and were NOT disappointed. Spirit's staff took care of us every step of the way and provided not only amazing food but also excellent service. Will definitely book again! : )

I surprised my wife by aking her here on our 3 year anniversary. I upgraded to the romance package, photo package & window seat. It cost a good amount of money but it was worth it. She was so surprised. The staff was great, everyone of them new it was our anniversary & greeted us with a happy anniversary Mr. & Mrs. Halak. Our server Anthony to good care of us & he was funny had us laughing plenty of times throughout the night. By far the best waiter we've ever had. The food was so tasteful & it's all you can eat. It was a very diverse crowd on the ship & the DJ played music from all genres & everyone was dancing. This was a great experience. If you go ; it's a special occasion UPGRADE your package. By the Power of the MOST HIGH GOD AHAYAH & CHRIST YASHAYA we'll be going again.

This cruise was absolutely amazing, nothing can take away the beauty that is New York. The food was delicious. Getting to keep the glasses is a plus considering the price of drinks. Service is slow, our waiter was not on top of it, but there was staff that was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this cruise.

We, my husband, myself, our three children, and my cousin went on a dinner cruise this past weekend. We drove in and I was worried about parking but there was parking right out front where we boarded the ship. The ticketing process was easy. Once on board... I have to say I was truly impressed.
The service was phenomenal! All the bar tenders were great.
Brandy was our waitress, she had multiple tables but made us feel we were the only ones. She also spoke multiple languages which I always admire and place extra value on!
Kate was our photogenic girl and she took amazing photos of my family. I now have family pictures where all my kids are not only looking, but smiling !
The staff for the ship, the captain and his crew greeted us as we came on.
My kids will for sure never forget this night and neither will I.
I hope to go again - !

I have worked with Spirit Cruises on large student events for five years and they never disappoint. They are consistently thoughtful, responsive, efficient, and work to make every experience special. They are attentive to detail and provide custom elements that make each one better. Margaret who coordinates a lot of large events is absolutely stellar -- you can't ask for a better representative to work with! Whether you have a small group or large one, I highly recommend booking with Spirit. You won't be disappointed!

I ve been on this cruise a few times and haven t really had any issues so far. However, I do feel the boat is outdated and the bathroom could ve been more clean. The food and music was good.

I would have expected much more care in the food for the price paid. The staff was semi-friendly although slow at getting drink orders. We sat for an hour before being allowed to eat. Not even bread at the table. If I want to pay hundreds to listen to Latin dance music, i would go Puerto Rico. Not at all friendly to the older crowd. Not worth the price to be trapped and forced to listen to blasting club music.

The best I personal recommend this what are you waiting for?

To be absolutely family, our children loved the experience, the meal on board was very good and the visit interesting especially if you want to see the statue of freedom very closely. The view of Manhattan is very beautiful, especially in good weather

I surprised my wife with a Spirit cruise for her birthday.

The staff was slow in getting drink orders and picking up dirty plates. Coffee was not offered (even though it is included in your package). We had to ask and it took about half an hour before we got a cup. Walking down to the restrooms had to be the worse. The steps were littered with tissue and paper. And this was before we even sailed off. It looked like the floors had not been cleaned since the previous sail off. There were many mosquitoes around the tables and food. Not worth the money spent.

Got the military discount, also got free champagne for our VIP, you can purchase a discount card for drinks, but alcohol and boats don't mix too well, buffet had a nice selection, broccoli baked Ziti and Swedish meatballs my favorite

I didn't like the arrangements that people with the green band couldn't go upstairs until the boat start to move an when u got up stairs there where no seats at the table people where cramp in

The groups department at Entertainment Cruises is first class. When ever I have something to book they are there for me from start to finish. No issue is ever a problem for them. The food was great and the crew were very friendly! The boat was really clean and neat with great lightning from the windows for those who want to sit inside and take pictures !

My Daughters Graduation cruise was amazing. She enjoyed her experience. I enjoyed myself as well. Food was pretty decent just carry your spices in your bag if your sensitive about under seasoned food because it is definitely prepared well.

We went with a big group of girls for our last dinner in the city, and when we arrived they told us that the cruise had been moved back half an hour. After waiting we were seated on the 1st floor which smelled like fish..... Throughtout the course of the night weird things kept happening: we took a really long time to leave the pier, they also took a long time to start on the buffet, the lights would turn on and off, and the stereo stopped working at one point.
After they announced that we were near the Statue of Liberty, one of the girls in our party went to our area and noticed that her purse was completely open and that someone had taken all of her cash out of it. We all check our purses and two more girls were also robbed, the owner and manager were notified and they did very little to help figure out who had stolen over $300 in cash. It got to the point where they just told everyon to get back to the dance floor and to stop worrying about the missing cash.
It wasnt just the people from our party that got money stolen from, other people that were seated on the same floor as us reported missing items as well......

I have been cruising on SPirit for 15 years now. The Mom and Me Girl Scouts of Greater New York Cruise in April started with 100 Girls and moms and now has 850 Girls and Moms. Its all because of Margaret Stapleton and her staff. They are the epitome of Professional! From the tickets to the food we always have the best service and the best time.

Took a lunch cruise for my wife's Birthday on the 11th July , out of all the trips booked on our visit to New York this is by far the best , friendly staff, good food and great music DJ very knowledgeable of the area and played music to suit the occasion .

Celebrated my surprise party here. had a wonderful time with family and friends. a sold out cruise with such a small dance floor and our server most of the time was MIA. But will do it again!!!
