Had to do a return on a damaged microwave oven, service was great. No issues returning.
Repeatedly ignores customer inquiries. Emails are ignored. Phone messages are ignored. Contacts from upstream distributors are ignored. At least one upstream distributor is investigating cancelling sponsorship of Speer Mechanical due to their violation of the terms of service (ToS) they agreed to.
The one time I was able to get in contact with the designated PoC he said: "Oh that work is done by someone else. I'll reach out to him and have him contact you within a couple days." I said: "Don't you need my information?" His response: "Oh yeah. What's your name and phone number?"
I never heard back from him or this "other" person.
I submitted a request through their website and got an out of office email message from Amber S. stating she'd reply to the message when she got back in the office next week - that was April 17, 2017. Of course I never received any follow-up calls or emails. I reached out again (directly to Amber's email this time since it was the only PoC I had) on June 6th and again June 21. No replies of any sort (and no out of office message either!).
Speer Mechanical is an all around unprofessional organization and if they weren't the only supplier in central Ohio I would've gone elsewhere.
Refuse to pay 1 excuse to another now won't return emails or phone calls ... any company that does work for them beware
