Nice place, however hard to get seating and price ...
Nice place, however hard to get seating and price is a bit too pricy for the food quality, nice view and pretty food.

Doesn t live up to the hype. Blonde girl with blue eyes greeted us with are you going to order a coffee? ... and when we ordered a chai tea latte, instead of confirming whether this meant we wanted a chai tea or a chai latte, she just brought out a chai tea and then tried to convince us to keep it instead of having what we wanted. Just felt like we were annoying them by being there. Food and coffee was nice. Try the chai latte but make sure you don t mention the word tea LOL!!!
Went back after a long time boycotting it, food options have improved and service was good. Great for people watching and ocean dreaming.
Delicious, speedy and fresh! Great start to a morning at Bondi.
The grilled tomato in the big breaky was the best I ever had - still kinda crunchy.
Good coffee. Bit hectic in Summer, but a staple of the Bondi shore line. Great view. Ok staff. Not the best menu, a lot of pretty unhealthy food for Bondi.
I love this place! Have been several times and it's always been a lovely experience. The food is presented beautifully and tastes just as satisfying. There's veggo and vegan options available for those who are interested in that. Service is friendly and esthetics are chilled out. My only complaint is about the toilet which is often quite messy, though not too a terrible extent.
What happened to this former bondi classic?? I hadn't been for a few years - what a huge huge disappointment! The staff were rude, the food like reheated diner food - and when I didn't get half the sides for my big breakfast the waitress actually rolled her eyes at me (never got the hash browns, though they were promised) all together a noisy, busy way overpriced waste of time!!!
The woman who runs it is cool. My friend opened this place in 1988 and it is still successful under a new owner. It is right next to the best surf spot. Coffee is large but it's a little pricey! (4.50!!!)
Fantastic food which arrived quickly and tasted great. Very aesthetically pleasing situation and atmosphere
Great food but all the waitresses were super grumpy.
Was moved around 3 times when the servers weren't communicating with each other about which customers got the tables, was asked if we wanted coffee and food by 3 different servers in the space of 5 minutes, had 2 bugs crawling out of my salad, flies at the tables and the weekend 10 percent surcharge is a joke. Has gone downhill since I was here last
Matthew really looked after us. As delicious and Instagrammable as promised. 4 very happy 12 year olds.
Nisha is the best, She served us really well thumbs up to her
The Cafe is nestled at the northern end of Bondi and has great views the entire beach.
The food presentation is spectacular and tastes pretty good too. The vegan options are worth while and the prices are about right for the area.
We got there early Saturday morning and didn't have to wait for a table not did we wait long for our order to be served.
All the staff we interacted with were super friendly and made us feel welcome.
Will definitely return here.
A busy cafe situated on the north side of Bondi. Good range of drinks and food and good to say the staff are very patient especially with big groups.
Best coffee! Friendly staff and magical views.... Perfecto!!
It was particularly safe and good, and it was a safe taste.
There were several delicious places in the cafe that I visited during my stay, so if you were in a popular store, you might have raised the hurdle too much.
Certainly, as rumored, there were many menus that appeared on Instagram, but it may have become popular.
Great place to have coffee when in Bondi, if you get a seat by the window it's great for people watching also
Hands down the best Cafe in Australia.
Stop looking at reviews and get in there!!!!!
We came in the afternoon of a Saturday at around 3 PM knowing it wouldn t be too busy. Yep, most of the tables were empty. After we made the order, a photoshoot started happening for their social media campaign. At first we even felt excited about our incoming food as looking at which being captured by the professional cameras. Yet, 30-40 minutes passed by with no traces of our food while more kept coming out for the photoshoot, we asked the waitress how long we will have to wait. No apologies, no explanations, all she said was So do you still want that? . We gave them another 15 minutes before deciding not to waste our time anymore, nearly an hour sitting there and waiting for nothing.
If you want more customers to come by taking those fancy food pictures, why not respect those who already know your cafe in the first place?
Never again.
Gorgeous food that is as delicious as it looks. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Bondi.
We came on the afternoon of the 4th of may. We waited 20 minutes for our food after the waitresses took our order. At the end of our wait we were informed that there was a photoshoot and that our order has not been started. When we brought it to their attention that this was a waste of time and we should have been told upfront, the waitress told us she didnt know that there was a shoot interfering with the kitchen. Again, its a small restaurant, i have a photo of the staff nonchalantly taking photos of food not to be served to people taking up one third of the inside of the restaurant. so for some one to say they didnt know that a photo shoot was happening, they are probably an occupational health and safety hazard for serving tables.
Second, how does a photoshoot in the dining area affect the kitchen staff delivering service for paying customers?
Please respect customers time, because thats also your time and income as well.
The only bad thing about Speedo's is trying to find a table! It's really popular, especially on the weekends, so be prepared to wait for a bit. It's not the worst place in the world to wait though. It's located right across the road from North Bondi beach, with great views looking out across the water. If possible, try to grab a table out the front and soak up the salty air. The coffee is usually pretty good, and the food is great. I'd suggest walking if possible, as parking can be tough around there.
My hubby & I just had the best brunch here. Food, Coffee & Service were fantastic! We met the lovely owner Matthew who was very warm & hospitable. We ll definitely be back:)
The food is delicious.
However, a female clerk had a bad attitude, and although my companion's food arrived immediately, my food did not arrive even after 30 minutes. A staff who doesn't notice that he is in the seat in front of him. I called out to another staff member and urged them to do so. I'm sorry to say that in 3 minutes! He said. And the food was served from the kitchen in 3 minutes, but the staff in charge just stood out. And no smile at all. I don't even notice the food coming out of the kitchen. What's going on Still in charge of staff? So I went to the desk to pick up the food with a sloppy attitude. And leave without saying anything. What is this staff? From the side of the customer service, I felt that the delicious food was not good for the customer service, which was quite annoying. I don't think there are many students who serve such customers. I hope to improve customer service at least. Of course, there was also a staff member who would serve customers with a smile. However, thanks to the staff who are unfriendly and not suitable for customer service, my feelings turned blue.
Soso. The staff got our orders wrong and the cake was average but was very appealing to the eye
Lovely views, food looks better than it tastes, I ordered the pancakes and they were terrible couldn't eat them tasteless rubber , wouldn't go back
Good food great casual atmosphere value for money and great view.
Everything here was quite good. I got the burger my GF got the poke bowl. Huge portions
Overpriced for what it is.
The vegan pancakes tastes very weird... like with too much stevia.
10% surcharge on weekends. Used to be better.
Super pretty with view
Just if the construction not blocking the view
Definitely coming back
Don't bother, wont even get to taste the food because you'll never get a seat!
There are a handful of iconic landmarks that are synonymous with some of the world s greatest cities, and Sydney s eggshell-shaped opera house is certainly one of them. Although the Sydney Opera House is the heartbeat of the city, Sydney has a wealth of other attractions to offer its visitors. The city is notorious for its renowned beaches (you ve probably heard of Bondi Beach and Coogee Beach), its famed vineyards, beautiful outdoors (The Blue Mountains will blow your mind), energetic nightlife, and of course--its unique wildlife which can be enjoyed in one of the city s acclaimed zoos.
Sydney isn t just an absolutely must-visit destination, it also offers easy access to the rest of Australia and nearby New Zealand. And in case you like it so much and think it could be a good place to relocate to, we have good news for you! Sydney is regularly ranked amongst the top cities in the world to live in.
$25 for one piece of toast with avocado and tomato on it, don t go here if you are hungry. The service was pretty bad too, definitely a place that survives on its name rather than the food and service.
Fantastic food and generous potions! Very friendly staff. Have been coming back 5 times the last week.
Friendly service, average food and disappointing beverages. The foods there are basic. Dramatic decorations with average taste. I feel like it is time to focus on the food's taste, not its presentation. I asked to change the watermelon drink as it tasted like a pure watermelon syrup and I expected real watermelon juice given its price. I wouldn't be disappointed if changing the beverage is not allowed as I was the one who ordered the beverage but the friendly staff kindly changed without any drama. I love their fat chips.
Great food, they put in appt of effort into the display of the food. But was cramped and the toilets were absolutely foul which really brought down the experience. You need to show more respect for your customers by cleaning up!
Favourite cafe in nth bondi. Great strong cappuccino and the staff are friendly and on Mark. The view comes 2nd at this one...
The waiter was nice and the food too but i am really desapointed when i went to pay the bill and a woman passed before me when i wait like your not here and after the manager just gave you the bill not friendly more interested to follow on this phone the woman that passed just before me!
Absolutely horrible service. The waitress was focused on serving her friends over the other customers. Very blunt, and seemed as if she couldn't get away quicker.
The food was not worth the price, but the coffee was even worse. I would heavily recommend against eating here.
One of my favorite places to get breakfast in Bondi. The food is great and the views are amazing. This is a popular cafe so expect long waits during busy times. You can even bring your dog and grab a table outside.
Love the food. The blue bliss bowl it's amazing. I love it. The waitress it's very nice.
Food came out quick, presented well, and tasted great. It felt like the staff was a bit pushy for us to order but other than that everyone was friendly and it was a nice environment.
Trendy Cafe located at North Bondi. Our visit was on a Monday at about 3:00 pm and it was reasonably quiet. At busy times you may have to wait for a table. The service was pleasant and the food was tasty and beautifully presented.Thumbs up!
We got the Vegan Burger and the Fat Chips. The burger fell apart in our hands after one bite. There were too many things on it without regard for taste. Not to mention the piece of plastic I found in the burger that was bigger than a 20 cent piece. The chips were flavorless and needed to be fried longer.
Ordered the famous Pitaya Bowl and it tasted good however looking at all the other bowls around me, I was robbed of more fruit! Mine was incomplete and served. Not the best first impression on food and service....
The place is rather tight, with small tables, too many chairs and large cutlery baskets placed on each table that took over 1/4 of the table space.
Some thought into the dining experience details is recommended to make diners feel more comfortable, rather than overcrowded and squished like sardines. Won't be coming back.
Great tasting and well-presented cafe food, a range of hot and cold drinks, with a view of Bondi Beach! Friendly and accommodating staff. Great for brunch - coffee and food together will set you back around $20-27.
A MUST FOR BRUNCH! Amazing food, comfy seating, right by Bondi beach and caters to food intolerances. Super friendly staff and some fun smoothies/blended drinks.
Perfect spot to indulge in a brekky or brunch opposite the North Bondi RSL with lovely views of the beach. Stopped in for a takeaway coffee where we received a discount for bringing our keep cups. The coffee needed to be a little warmer but can t blame the barista who was under immense pressure with long queues on a Sunday morning.
Overpriced and really nothing special
The cronuts were stale
Generally disappointing
Great food, friendly service and that great view. A Bondi icon...
Dont respect times. If you move there and google says its open...But is closed. Is frustrating. The owner need control his workers.
By far the best coffee on the beach . I don t know why I have tried and been disappointed by others in the past.
Cracking breakfast selection with good view of the beach.
Best BLT in town just add some avo and boom! Great coffee and lovely staff.
Nice place to have breakfast.
Pancakes were good, excellent mango ice.
All with a beautiful view of Bondi Beach.
I would go back again, although pancakes are plentiful for one person, I recommend taking it for two people.
Polite and friendly staff.

My favourite cafe at Bondi, love their coffee and the way they run things. Never a long wait despite the populariity of the place.
Great location. Bit pricey. Best to order take away and sit on the grass
Great Food. Great coffee. Great service. Great Location
Cosy little cafe with great food & coffee! Will definitely be back
I was able to enter the store easily thinking that they were lined up. It was a line waiting for a takeaway. Staff was good and the food was delicious. There is no help for the price to rise a little.
$72 for 2ppl!!! Over priced and food is pretty standard! Who charges a 10% surcharge just for a weekend ... would ve been nice to know before ordering. Absolute rort.
Stunning views of the beach from this cafe! Staff were super friendly and food was simply amazing!! I absolutely recommend this cafe!!
Best pole bowl I've ever had! Their acai bowls are so beautiful and most instagramable
The coffee was so good that i bought two! The location is great it overlooks Bondi Beach and the food/service was fast.
Staff completely ruins the experience.
Arrived with my girlfriend and the house manager rushed to push us towards the worse and tighter spots in order not to use a bigger capacity table - worth mention there was absolutely no groups waiting to sit.
For my surprise, 5 minutes after being placed against the wall with space barely sufficient to move my arms, a couple was placed on the big comfortable table we ve previously requested.
Also worth mentioning the curious choice for the incredibly grumpy floor manager, whose lack of any empathy seems to reflect on the floor staff s poor motivation, who cares about anything but proper hospitality.
Also, another point was the woman who came to take our order, who we could barely hear speaking. Not sure whether she was saving her voice for any musical audition or just couldn t be bothered doing her work properly.
The busyness of peak hours is not an excuse to lack kindness to customers. Matter fact, that s when the staff should regard it the most.
I d highly suggest the brand owners or HRs to improve its floor staff hiring and get personnel with proven hospitality experience, as this venue does not seem like the type of place that can get away with inexperienced labour.
Regarding the food, it was just OK, but with all honesty I did not taste everything on the menu, but I ll assume the cafe s hype come from the view. You can get same or better quality meals around the junction or North Bondi itself.
Good coffee, very busy on weekends. Best to order take away on Hey You app
First time we have been there, it was fab. Food is great
