My experience with Spectrum was excellent. Unlike most other recruiters I recently encountered, they were very professional; Lynn Sochon and her team have been very responsive, providing regular updates and communicating with me on a regular basis (by phone, not just e-mail). I highly recommend them!
I wanted to wait to write a review to make sure I was not overreacting. i worked at Spectrum Staffing for a year as a Client Service Manager. I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot and met a lot of great people. I was let go 3 days after celebrating my 1 year anniversary with the team there.
Yes, this was very shocking to me because there was no warning signs. Similar to how they give out bonuses, all of this was kept secret and then made known to me the day it was happening.
I never write reviews like this but I wanted to make people aware of working for Spectrum. They have a great family atmosphere and the directors, Client Service Managers and HR will bend over backwards for you to help and give their opinions to make it truly feel like a family.
Also, Spectrum is a terrific company to work through if you are looking for contracting or direct hire work. They build great relationships with each Client and make sure to follow up all the time to make sure the contractor is comfortable in the role Spectrum placed them in.
I would just be aware of the ownership with Spectrum. Everything is behind closed doors and out of no where you can be let go in a blink of an eye. To me that is not family (which they promote) or even a healthy way to run a business. To see how upset the directors were when the owner made this decision, it seemed to be just from him. And I never did hear from the co-owner as well. So, if you do end up there please be careful what you do or say around them (basically walk on egg shells) because without you knowing, it could be held against you.
I value my time at Spectrum and thankful for the team I was apart of, I hope this message helps with future employees. Happy New Year.
Terrible. I honestly wouldn't waste my time with this agency they offer one thing and then give something that doesn't match anything you discussed or wanted in the first place. Forget about pay, they decrease whatever you are normally getting anywhere else. In my opinion use a reputable agency like Randstad they get you jobs and pay really well. Spectrum should close their doors because they are phony and their customer relations stink.
My experience with Spectrum Staffing in Parsippany-Troy HIlls has been outstanding. My recruiter, Mr. Mike Miele was very supportive of me and my goals throughout the entire process. He was very attentive to what I was looking for and didn't just assign me to any open position. He kept me informed at every step of the process. At no time did I feel like I was being utilized to just fill a position. Mr. Miele made sure that I understood what the position was and what the company was about. I can't thank Mr. Miele and his team enough for the success that they have allowed me to achieve. I recommend Spectrum Staffing of Parsippany-Troy Hills as a top rate staffing agency.
Update: 7/31/2020
As you can see from the earlier post, I had nothing but praises for Spectrum Staffing, of course, that's was when Mr. Miele was my account rep. I was never told that he was no longer with the company and I was left in limbo at the assignment. I think that it was very unprofessional not to reach out a let me know that Mr. Miele was no longer employed and that I would be assigned to someone else. There were issues that were going on at the assignment and I couldn't get any answers from anyone. When I finally did reach someone to ask about my status at this assignment ( I was there for nearly 7 months) I was let go from the assignment later that week. This was very disappointing since I had been there for nearly 7 months and no one keeping in contact with me. Then to add insult to injury, there was no follow up assignment even though I was told by M.A to forward my resume to him and he and his team would see what was available. Never heard from them again.
This is the only problem with working with temp agencies, you can be dropped from an assignment with no notice and then there is no follow up. I'm pretty sure they will have a rebuttal for this and I'm waiting, because I do have a lot more to tell about this situation and M.A.

Came across Spectrum Staffing in my job search recently. Our first communication the team was very detailed with the process. Before going into skill set they asked what I was looking for overall, and we proceeded to find a fit based on my skillset and needs. For me work life balance was a necessity so location and hours were my priority then field and pay. The guys found me a great option, the provided everything I needed and were very involved in the process keeping me up to date with everything going on. Most importantly I really feel like they had my best interest in mind and made sure the place they partnered me up with was completely in line with what I asked for.
