Spectracare is a corporation. It owns its own outpatient services, it owns group homes, a hospital, and apartments. So really if you live in Dothan you have no options but spectracare. After I went to the group home they court ordered for psychosis that was not psychosis it was an issue with faith. Then they court ordered me to a mental health prison called icp, then they court ordered me to southeast hospital, then they court ordered me to new day, and finally they court ordered that I'm incapable of taking care of myself. They love to lock people up and they think psychosis is dangerous even when the psychotic person isn't a danger to themselves or others. They force you to do therapy and if you go to the group homes you're required 3-4 hours of therapy a day. It's sickening. I was living independently before coming to the group home and they court order that I can't take care of myself?! All they want is money. And they abuse people. Going to the group homes will make you sicker. I hate spectracare they ruined my life. I should have gone to the homeless shelter.

Thrown out like trash several hours from home on Veterans Day (happen to be a veteran). No way home. Told that they taking my check anyway. Severely understaffed. My phone n wallet thrown in closet accessible to anyone with key instead of safe. False witnessing. Blank check taken without receipt. Women watching over men s side whilst men watching over women s side. Nearly falling down unto floor from exhaustion whilst being forced feed their philosophical banter. The plus side. Staff was accommodating(if find someone) and meals were great. Breaks every hour.

Rude over the phone. Simply rude and of no assistance.
