This place is a joke if i could leave 0 stars i would! They are legal drug dealers that do not care! The counselors are not real counselors they do the bare minimum! If you have a job good luck getting to it on time or getting to this clinic on time! They treat the working that pay for this out of their own pocket like a fresh off the streets junkie even though you have not used for years except methadone! Your almost punished for working! So you almost have to be sick not use or use and put your life at risk or quit your job and then how is that helping! This place does not save lives it ruins them. Just an fyi they try to keep you here and keep you on a high dose that way your withdrawals are worse than heroin. So truly think about what your doing coming here is this place really worth the stress! I hope i can save some people from making a bad mistake coming here. Do not fund them get new friends or be alone until you can handle not doing heroin on your own you have to be ready! This place is a joke and only help people with absolutely nothing going on in their life! You will regret coming here when your finally stable have a place of your own responsibilities and a great job because you will lose it all when those things happen! Once again fo not come here be strong do it yourself ween off the heroin. This place sucks!

Best methadone clinic in town! Carrie is passionate about her work as a harm reduction specialist and has been able to pursue her dream to open additional clinics. I have to say that if it were not for STS I would not be alive today. And to those who think the program is just set up to make money, if you want to use it that way yes it is. However if you choose to take control of your life and move forward from methadone dependence there are counselors and nurses that are more than willing to assist you on your journey from helping you detox at a reasonable rate and switch to Suboxone which is a much lighter kick. They are not against the use of benzodiazepines as long as it is prescribed by a physician and will even have yoga and meditation classes available as well as other outside resources if you are willing to ask for them.

MAX CRINGE FACTOR!, they beat down their patients an don't b fooled when u r "new" or they are having a "good day", nvr seen a Methadone clinic like it, den of physco-sociopaths, Creepy!, patients are despondent lower class or homeless plebes and will go along with aaaaaanything to keep out of possible death from having their medicine taken away on a whim, eyyyyyyeah......

They have always had great care for me here. I even could go as far as to say I am loved.

Worst place ever, don't waste your time and money especially if you have a job, you will lose it by being late to work because they will not work with you. They treat you like a child and a criminal. Go somewhere else and keep your job.

One year had no counselor. In the apx 5 yrs i went for no reason given to me - diff counselor. They'd talk of their issues, 3 bitched about the form on ' goals, sobriety, ect & would do their clients & just have us sign. Who wants to say anything personal when their saying ' i don't care' & if you use that's your biz. At 1132 Central N E Mpls - STS, boss Malissia Prono? lied 3 times to me & when i confronted her, she'd try to put on me. I arrived two min to closing (cab from st paul) i opened door, clock on wall two min to close. Would not dose me sayin computer shut down automatically at 5. I told Malissia that & seen door opened b4. She said ' we can't open for client when closed. Twice after that two people on diff days i witnessed staff open so they could dose. I called her a lyer & 4 days later admit taper. I have no support, they know. But she had me go here - there - skip - jump, treatment. After treatment no support, they expected a clean ua?? I went there for help\support. Gave up!!! Every ua meth pos. And left still using. I could write a book how they let me & others down, disappointed. So don't believe 4. star - NOT - that's a family biz & they spoke & rated themselves. Thanks. - i needed pepes to know. Don't believe me - you'll find out how shity that STS is if you go. Bye

I am all for living life ,But when I became a addict I no longer was living I was surving day by day sometimes hour by hour 18 years of everyday injections .....pills.....crack.....one day alliance was where I began with Carrie ,she was a counsler who cared so deeply for people it shocked me and I wanted to be closer to her ....me and my husband followed her to sts where she started from 0 now she has 3 clinics and I admire her for all her dedaciation and devotion to employees and clients she has .I have been clean 8 years with sts ...thank you.

If your an opiate addict. They take walk ins. Could dose the next day. Never be sick again. Its got major upsides when your in the gutter. And Major downsides. Liquid Handcuffs it's called, and not lightly. Walk in cuz your sick one day and they offer instant gratification\relief. Never leave. 15 years later you'll be telling ppl how you came here for a 6 month stay.

Only down fall is that they changed there hours that they are open. They used to be open till 4pm now only till 1:30. It's a pain sometimes

Good place to help you when you are not feeling good.

The people there really care about others, & about helping...!!!
