The staff is usually friendly. When we went for a cat we werent charged a set fee. Just asked to make a donation. Seems other SPCAs are getting rediculous with adoption fees. Its very clean here and theres a lot of volunteers playing with the pets and taking them outside for exercise. Its a great place to adopt and for the pets waiting for their forever homes.

Not especially helpful as far as getting a cat neutered. Just told that I could get an appointment in September. I could have used a referral to a vet. It would also be good to have the SPCA teamed up with a few area vets to offer neutering and lessen additional pregnancies.

Surprised that each animal had a room to themselves, That was the biggest thing. The dogs are older & I wish Vader gets out to play more, though I'm happy he was returned to this no kill shelter. Hoping he gets a great parent & home since he's super smart.

This place is overall a really nice clean and friendly location. It's also excellent that they're one of the few locations that's a no kill shelter we actually got our cat pumpkin from here and he's a sweetheart.

Found the perfect match on my first visit because of an amazing volunteer who took me on a detour in my tour of senior cats to show me a two-year-old he thought I'd click with. I emailed my adoption application that night and when they called me back the next day they'd already approved it and spoken to my landlord. Everything was so easy and professional. I was able to take her home two days after meeting her. I couldn't imagine a better pet for me and the reason she's here with me now is all thanks to an SPCA volunteer's intuition!

I recommend that any one that values or cares about their pet to not bring them here these people are unprofessional. I brought my dog here to get spayed and two days later she cant hold anything down she throws up almost immediately after eating or drinking and has had two seizures. So i called the emergency line and the lady that answered said that i was the third person to complain about the well being of my animal that got fixed by these people. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!!! PAY THE EXTRA MONEY TO TAKE THEM SOMEWHERE THEY QILL ACTUALLY BE TAKEN CARE OF!!!

Mainly cats and dogs, but occasionally other small animals, get a second chance to find their forever home. The environment is clean and bright. The animals have comfortable and roomy accommodations during their (hopefully short) stay. Staff and volunteers are helpful and genuinely passionate about taking care of the animals and helping people to match with pet that's is right for them.

I rescued my two new best friends from here. My kittens, Wiley and Stella were well taken cared of as where the rest of the animals at the shelter. The staff was great and you could feel the compassion. I will return again.

We adopted our beloved cat here 7 years ago. Most recently I took my baby here to meet some cats and dogs. He loved meeting all of the mature cats and watching the kittens sleep. It was lovely to see caring volunteers spending time with the cats and dogs, training them and caring for them while we browsed around.
I also loved seeing the mobile vet spay and neuter van out front as a constant reminder to folks to have your pets spayed or neutered. There were just so many cats. They were all very well cared for with plenty of food, water and clean litter. Many people were visiting that day, all willing to give some pets to some attention seeking kitties.
In a perfect world, I could have more cats. Until that perfect time in my life to have more, we will visit and pet the animals waiting for their perfect forever home.

What can you say about a no kill SPCA? It great. We got our dog there and I know many people who have gotten dogs and cats there. Its a great place, and the perfect place to drop off unused pet supplies and even returnable bottles (there is a shed out front, they get to keep the $)

This facility takes great care of animals and they are honest and forthcoming about the history of all of their animals for adoption. You can find a match depending on your needs quite easily. The staff are helpful and very kind.

Great staff! We had gone to another shelter in the area, but were denied getting a pet because we had only been in our apartment for a month or so. I decide to go the the TCSPCA to ask about residency requirements. In less than 30 minutes I was walking out with our new family member.

I have spent a bit of time here recently, and for the most part this place is amazing. The facilities are super clean and of the highest quality of all shelters I have been to. But.....its the humans that seem to be problematic, not all, and only on specific days. At times there are so many volunteers that it makes it difficult to actually spend any time with the animals(dogs specifically), for individuals truly looking to adopt. The humans inject themselves into your meeting so much that you cant even get a glimpse of the animal you are trying to engage with....followed up with an aggressive, "what do you think, should we fill out the paper work?" I just wish the goal was to find the right human for the right animal companion, instead of adoption pressure, and volunteer animal trainer elitism.
