Great rooms with an ocean view! Well kept grounds and excellent facilities.

Excellent hotel, clean room and reasonable cost. We had a balcony with a view of the sea, beautiful, I highly recommend it!

I give it a "10" out of "10". I went there 11 years and can't say enough about the service, accomodations and comfort.

Great place to stay. Perfect location to walk to beach, shops, food or walk the marginal way to Perkins Cove. Also close to the firehouse for bingo night. Can park the car and not move it until it's time to leave or go attractions outside of Ogunquit.

Great coastal walk, very comfortable to walk and great view

Outstanding accommodations and service! Staff is extremely friendly. The price for a room was very reasonable and the free breakfast makes this hotel a great value. Great shops and restaurants are nearby. It's a short walk to the beach. Members of our family have been going there for over forty years and have always had a wonderful time!

Quiet, perfectly situated hotel in Ogunquit. Great place to stay if you want to walk to local shops and restaurants and on the Marginal Way to Perkins Cove. Ask for an upstairs room in the main motel building to get views like these.

Right at the Marginal Way close to everything in Ogunquit

Sparhawk is a lively establishment! The staff is friendly, the views are beautiful, and the place is CLEAN. You can tell it's very well kept just from passing by. I swear everyone who books a stay here, leaves feeling better. It's summer time folks, book your stay!

ALSO, let me start off by saying I'm not a food guy. Don't get me wrong, I love food, but I'm one of those people who will pretty much eat anything that's put in front of me and enjoy it. I say that to say this.. the places to get food around Sparhawk were phenomenal. I mean EVERY meal I ate made me close my eyes at some point during the intimate game of fork and mouth. Seriously though. Stay at Sparhawk so you can enjoy everything it has to offer.

Location, location, location. Right at the end of the Marhinal Way. Within a few steps away from the Ogunquit village. Rooms are large with a nice view. Breakfast is generous although more fruits would be appreciated. The grounds are manucured and impeccable. Will definitely go back.

A getaway on the coast, four friends and friends left to change air. A buffet lunch included, shops nearby and the sea. A beautiful site to enjoy all that the region has to offer. Easy access, parking included. We had a large apartment with full kitchen. Comfortable and clean everything was great.

This was our first time staying in this part of Maine. Staying at the Sparhawk was by far one of the best decisions we made.

As you can tell from the view, ocean front was the right choice. What a great staff as well! Top notch and we will be back!

We love this place. been comimg here several years now. The Staff is top notch, very friendly, they talk to you with respect. the rooms are kept very clean, and updated. We have never had a problem or complaint. our plans are that we will coming back for many years to come. the views of ocean and convenience to main street is the best!

Excellent unpretensious resort .. half dozen buildings.. many motel style but beautifully updated... and the self contained airflow provided by the individual room air conditioning was a plus in covid times. We were in Room 20. Strong airflow through the unit when the oceanside door and the outside entrance door were opened. Convenient parking.. and inviting pool and tennis court. A short stroll to the entrance to the Marginal Way oceanside walkway leading to Perkins Cove.. or to the Ogunquit Beach.. and an easy walk past dozens of restaurants down to the town center. We will definitely be booking for next summer.

For many decades the Sparhawk has set the bar high for a great getaway. The grounds and gardens are outstanding with gorgeous flowers at every turn. All the rooms are appointed with high quality furniture. The complimentary breakfast is satisfying and delicious. And all this is accomplished with the best staff around, they are very polite, accomodatinng and dedicated to making your stay perfect!

Pros...Close to town. Views were amazing. Clean rooms and grounds. Employees very friendly.
Cons... Beds small and uncomfortable. Can t leave any food or drinks around or you will have a cup full of ants. People off the streets parking there and using pool. With pandemic only 24 people allowed at pool. Very hard to get pool time with my granddaughter. With all the employees I saw walking around, they should take notice.
When we checked out I told the women just what I have said here. I got back..Oh, that s to bad. I do not feel it was worth the $300 a night. Dorene Lewis

Room were smartly decorated, very fresh. Only complaint was, it would have been nice to have an extra blanket. Beautiful view!! Pool was amazing!! Just a first rate establishment...will be back!!

We had a great weekend at the Sparhawk. Rooms overlooking the water and the marginal way is right there. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We stayed there before and will go back again.

Awesome view of the Ogunquit River, Atlantic Ocean and Ogunquit Beach. Comfortable, clean ( thanks Jodi) spacious room, great staff ( thanks Mary), terrific breakfast ( thanks Denise and crew). A nice 5-6 minute walk into town and you are right at the beginning if the beautiful Marginal Way, a paved path for a lovely 1 mile walk to Perkins Cove.

Love the Sparhawk..rooms are impeccable service is spot on and their dining room at breakfast is spotless. The food is always fresh and there is so much of a selection.

Our favorite place to stay in Ogunquit. Been coming here for over 25 years.

Meticulously clean rooms (and I'm super finicky), very comfortable beds, excellent view! Staff was warm, customer oriented and accommodating! I won't stay any where else, if I can help it. I misplaced the 2nd key, no problem, very friendly. Rooms have a fridge. Decent soaps & shampoos. Excellent price (at least in early May). Zero bed bugs!!!

Many clean comfortable rooms right on the water. Breakfast included. The rooms are a bit dated but the location and views makes it well worth the small inconveniences.

Sparhawk Oceanfront is a comfortable, relaxing motel, nestled in the quaintness of Ogunquit, Maine.

I ve been coming here for some years now. The overall customer service is wanting the guests to be taken care of properly. Hence the reason for such a full house, all year when they are open.

The lawns are nicely kept, and it s location at the oceans edge, adds to its beachy charm!

Breakfast is rather simple, and could improve with a few more offerings. The rooms have been getting updated and are spacious and clean. Many of the rooms have balcony s to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean! Also they have tennis, shuffleboard and an outdoor pool! Truly a setting to be enjoyed!!!

This is one of the premier lodgings on the oceanfront in Oguncuit Maine.

This was my first visit to the Sparhawk, but my family has been coming about once a year for almost 20 years. We were there in mid-May so weather was still a bit cool and rainy. The proximity to town and the Marginal Way was excellent and allowed for lots of walking into town and over to Perkins Cove (about 7/10 of a mile). The furnishings were fine as was the free continental breakfast, but neither are much to brag about. The service is extremely kind and friendly. We had an oceanfront room with a terrace and an Eastern view of the ocean so we could watch the sunrise, but if that's not your thing, make sure you close the drapes.

I've been visiting the Sparhawk each May for over 20 years. It is consistently clean, friendly, relaxing and right in the center of all the town of Ogunquit has to offer. Our room is next to the ocean and its sound eases you to sleep at night. The continental breakfast that comes with the price of the room is wonderful! Fresh bread, bagels, muffins, fruit, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, great coffee and tea. The staff is very friendly and will do so much to make you feel at home. There are no pets allowed, plenty of parking, heated pool, shuffleboard and tennis and right at the beginning of the Marginal way which is a lovely walk along the oceans edge to Perkins Cove.

A lovely place. Great view of the water. Big and Clean rooms. Walk to a sandy beach.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sparhawk and have been there twice (the past two summers)! The view of the ocean waves from the balcony of our room was so soothing and beautiful. It is difficult to get a room at this place (or maybe certain rooms, like the ocean-facing ones) if you don't book way in advance, but it is well worth it. It is walking distance to a lot of shopping and restaurants, Perkins Cove, and a whole beach area. Other than needing to drive once to get alcohol from a local store, we didn't need to use our car to get around to where we wanted to go. The staff is also very professional and courteous. We did not end up going this summer for obvious reasons, but we are hoping to return again in the future, possibly next summer, when the world is in a better state.

Didn't stay here but the grounds and view are terrific.
