SPARGO has been an amazing company to work for. For me, the ability to flex my schedule and work week, as necessary, has been essential to maintaining a work life balance. What works for one employee doesn't always work for another, so it's incredible seeing everyone trusted to do what they need to do, to get the job done and function as a team, around a variety of schedules; whether we're in the office, remote or on travel, we're all in constant communication and running.
From my first day, the teams listen to my new ideas and have been not only open to change, but encouraging more ideas and innovation.
There may be a lot of employees here, but it's still a small family owned business and everyone wears a variety of hats and contributes how they can. You can tell it's a great place to work by the number of people that have been here decades and especially the number of family, friends and relatives that join every year from internal referrals. You wouldn't refer your friends or family unless you love where you're at or think they would love it too!

Their HR process is disorganized and completely unresponsive. I applied to a position with them directly, completed a phone interview and even did an online video interview and did not receive a response back. Not even a courtesy email even after a month. Than a recruiter called me and it turns out he was calling about the same position and asked me to re-do the online interview. They came back and said I was being reject because I applied from ""two different recruiters". They didn't realize that the first "recruiter" was their own HR person and that the only reason I was applying again was because that person made no effort to communicate after I did everything they asked me to do. This is not the right way to deal with people. I would give them zero starts if it were possible.
