Spanky's consignment has great deals on mens clothing and amazing customer services. If you haven''t already been I recommend you stop in and check it out!!

I absolutely love this place and their team of staff members. I had been going to Platos Closet, no idea why as they have the most disrespectful employees I have ever come across, but decided to try Spankys. I went in not quite prepared on my first visit but the consignment counter was beyond helpful and gave me some awesome tips to get my clothes in selling condition on my next trip. I never once felt like I was being insulted or talked down to. I listened to the consignment teams advice and on my next visit they were able to accept several items. I also shop here so I can appreciate the care they take in inspecting items prior to putting them out in their store. I have got the best deals on my favorite brands of jeans here and every pair was in fantastic shape. You couldn't find a better pair in the used condition, used is a light term as they are basically new, they offer. I am big on customer service and I haven't found another place that treats me with the same level of respect as the amazing team at Spankys. They honestly understand that their customers are why they have a job, why they come to work.

Many of the clothing items are more expensive than they are on sale at other stores and in the cases that they are cheaper it isn't by much, but that isn't the worse part of the experience. The try to set up a little area outside of the dressing room to look in a larger mirror which seems like a thoughtful idea with two main flaws. One area is just as dark as inside the dressing rooms and the other always has racks of clothing in front of them so you can't see yourself. It wouldn't be such a big deal with any type of return policy, an air conditioner, or some light in the room. The return policy is "all sales final" unless your shopping for men's clothing (which seems a little bit of a sham to me). I would be happy with a 24 hour return policy just so you can see the clothes outside of the stuffy, dark, dressing room where you can actually move around. Some of the clothes are really cute until you get them home and are kicking yourself for going back to that horrid store. I highly suggest shopping sales anywhere else before shopping here. I just found a great pair of pants at Fred Meyer on sale for $18 after shopping here and buying a pair that I didn't like as well for $13 only to find out I have to either re-consign them for a fraction of what I bought them for or eat the cost. Needless to say I will not be shopping here again.

I always seem to find a great deal on my favorite brands when I go to Spanky s. They have a large selection of women s clothing that are reasonably priced (with frequent sales). The men s clothing selection is much smaller, but the quality is still great.

Never shopped their but I did give them clothes as well as my cousin and its been years and we have never heard back from them even though they said they will call or email when its been sold. I doubt it hasnt been sold by now. Tisk tisk

This is a nice shop: organized, nice staff, and decently priced. They carry primarily mid-range brands like Gap, lululemon, American Eagle, Liz Claiborne, etc.. They have a collection of handbags like Kate Spade and Coach.
It's easy to consign here. They take items Thursday through Monday. You get up to 50% of the proceeds.
Large parking lot and easy to get to, near the freeway and across the road from the complex with Nordstrom Rack.

When I walked into Spanky s I was pleasantly surprised at the organization and feel of the store. The options are endless and the staff is very friendly and they carry trendy new styles for the given season!

Dont consign your clothes here. I turned in a ton of clothes that they accepted a few years ago. Checked in every few months and every time they said nothing had sold. I go in to check last week and they tell me 2 items sold but that it was too long ago to recieve store credit...not to mention I gave them way more than 2 items. I believe this place scams people by making money off your clothes and lying about them selling.

Scamming. I ve tried consigning here a couple times and I keep track of how many items I bring in what condition they are and what they say they take/donate. I had a fight with them before because stuff was sold that they said wasn t and it was an error in the system, So they made it right by offering to credit my account a bit. This last round however there were about 75 items I Brought in to consign. Majority were great condition, still had tags on them, we re still in style, and recently bought with in the last year. Two weeks go by I don t receive an email I called and they didn t take a single item because they were stained, out of style etc. i m about to send some friends in there to see if my stuff is on the racks as I take pictures of my items before turning them in for consignment as well and see what s going on here. Over 75 items and not a single one? No stains, rips or tears, I understand not taking every item, but not one out of 75? I wouldn t trust this place to consign your stuff with, only reason I understand not taking every item, but not one out of 75? Wish I would ve asked around before consigning here. Big mistake

This place was awesome! Great items, plentiful, variety and really good prices! You will find something you like! No doubt! Staff was very helpful, too! Knew prices!

Great place to take my boy's clothes that they have outgrown (ones that are in the best condition and name brand). They are very friendly and helpful there!

I am not impressed with the clothing or the prices. I brought a pair of Merrel$140 brand hiking boots that were like new and they put a price of 12.99 on them. I decided to go in and look for something similar and the had a pair of used Nike for $34.98. Just makes no sense how they price their items. They are extremely picky too. Personally I recommend donating and getting a receipt and writing it off.

I was in the area and stopped by for the first time last month. I got 4 shirts for about $25. The had a large selection in my size (xl), which was amazing. I got a couple name brand shirts and a couple nice dress shirts. I didn't look for much else, but plan on going back soon! I am going to try a consignment and will report back on my experience.

Spanky's is my go to for maternity clothes or any random used clothing need. Sometimes their prices are higher than I would like, and they don't give as much back for my gently used consigned items as I would like, but the store is huge and boasts many categories of clothing and footwear, as well as boutique style clothing.

I don t know who is giving them 5 star reviews. Try Plato s Closet, Mercari or Poshmark and they will not keep most of your stuff to donate it to charities, and you will make more money. I was very disappointed the time I took so much clothes to consign with Spankys and I only received like $30 for things that i could have sold somewhere else and get much more money the same day. And if you decide to consign with them please don t donate, don t bring too many items at the same time, and keep track of what you brought. But best to try Plato s closet if you have many items and if you want your money the same day...or try Mercari which is been working marvelously for me.

Edit: I just received a call to inform me that they were able to give me the sale price on the wool coat after all, so they put a credit on my account. I've raised my star rating to reflect this.

Just bought $60 in clothing. I saw at the register that there is a sale on outerwear and ski wear, so I asked if I could get the deal for the wool coat I was buying. I was told I could not because it was not with the ski wear.

I remembered I had a coupon in the Five Star app for $5 off of $30. I went back to see if I could get the price adjusted. The coupon I'd seen was gone and there was a new one that had been added because of what I just spent, so I couldn't use my previous coupon or the new one.

When I asked the manager about the outerwear sale, I was told that I couldn't get the discount because the coat just came in recently and it's not fair to the person consigning and that only ski wear was on sale. When I pointed out that a coat is outerwear, she said I might as well call a shirt outerwear. I replied that I'm not calling a shirt outerwear, I'm calling a wool coat outerwear. I have to keep track of so many rules here that it's making it less than fun to shop.

This store has an amazing selection of great clothing, shoes and accessories! Fashionable items at reasonable prices. The big selection of stylish clothing will have me returning here to shop. Darrien and others store employees were so helpful and courteous.

Very poor customer service! The lady claimed to be a manager, but her manner, lack of professionalism and courtesy, and casual attire, really just marked her as a rude store associate!
MOST IMPORTANT: this company has a strange return policy. They will only accept returns on men's clothing you have purchased. Everything else is rejected, even if it's the wrong fit! So ya know! Otherwise, variety and quality were great! Sad that the policies and customer service are so appallingly poor! I experienced this poor service very nearly a year ago when I attempted to return a pair of children's shoes too small for my son. Maybe things have changed? I'm not interested in finding out!

Clerks were friendly, but I would never deal with these people again. (Note: I'm sorry for the all-caps, below, but there is no way to make bold or to italicize - sorry.)
Questionable practices:
1. WOULD NOT GIVE A RECEIPT FOR CONSIGNED ITEMS, either that day or later. I was baffled and said that I would like at least some proof that I had dropped stuff off. They said "We've been doing it this way for 30 years and have never had a problem." A problem for whom? I had taken a lot of time to prepare the clothing and get it there, waited a long time for her to process and record my goods, and felt I needed some proof we were doing business. I begged them for at least a receipt of the number of items, which was pretty worthless but I wanted something to show good faith. She scribbled a note on a scrap of paper I had to ask her to sign and date.
2. I FELT PRESSURED TO "DONATE" THE GOODS AFTER THE CONSIGNMENT PERIOD, THOUGH THEY DIDN'T SAY WHERE THEY WOULD GO. I was asked if I wanted to give my unsold goods to charity after the consignment period, and I said no. The clerk repeated that "most people usually just dropped stuff off and just donated their stuff after the consignment was up." (Customers aren t the same!) I asked where the donated items go, but she just said to charities she wouldn t specify.
3. WITHOUT A RECEIPT AND NO PROOF OF UNSOLD ITEMS I WOULD NEVER KNOW WHAT SOLD OR DIDN'T SELL.
4. CUSTOMERS NOT ACKNOWLEGED WHEN IN THE STORE. I went in twice to see how my things were selling over the 2 months my stuff was consigned. There was little contact with the customers; in fact the last time I was one of only 3 people in the store and left after 20 minutes having never been acknowledged.
5. BE CAREFUL CASH BACK WON T BE GIVEN IF PAYBACK TOTAL IS UNDER $21! At the end of two months I was told that my payment would only be in trade, not cash if it was under $21. I said that I saw nothing that talked about this, only the option of cash or trade. The clerk just smiled she never showed me the policy, even though I said that I really needed the cash. I WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE SPENT MORE MONEY TO GET BACK WHAT I WAS OWED. In essence I gave them my goods and ended up with nothing.
Conclusion: go to a store that gives you a receipt for things you drop off other consignment stores do! I can t think of any other type of business where things are dropped off where you are not given a receipt. This is just not ethical.

Whilst visiting my mom, who lives around the corner, I noticed this consignment store and decided to pay it a visit. I ve worked consignment and mainly shop consignment so I know consignment stores pretty well.
Spanky s offers a pretty wide range of brands and sizes! They ll have anywhere from Steve Madden to Ferragamo shoes. They had a hole rack of Free People clothes as well as a hole section devoted to nice hiking/walking shoes. I do prefer a consignment shop with a more frequent mark down system but it was deff worth taking a look!

Its fine I just find it ridiculous how they can price certain brand name items so high I could buy them new for the same price

I love this place! I usually take my things to the shelter so the idea that they donate what they don't take makes it easier for me and allows me to get credit that may come in handy later! I love that I can buy men's, women's and children's clothing at one place and I bought several designer jeans for less than $20 bucks. I would say that if you're looking to make good money off of expensive items, not the place to consign, but if you're looking to shop for great deals on designer items, a great place!

My first experience at Spanky's was fabulous. I was greeted when I entered the store and when I was looking at the clothes, I was asked if needed any help. I tried on a few items and the woman handling the dressing room was friendly. I was impressed that the store was so clean and well-organized and that they had such a huge selection that included a lot of high quality items at very reasonable prices. The clothes were in good shape, some new. It felt like a family atmosphere - very friendly and helpful. I don't get all the negative reviews on here. It's more than a regular thrift shop - they've got higher standards for the quality of what they sell and they have a lot of very good brands like Trina Turk and Guess and J Crew - etc. I also love how the jeans are organized - they don't fall off the hangers and aren't packed so thick that you can't look at them. And unlike typical shopping, you can find great deals here, a larger variety of brands and you don't have to wait for sales or markdowns.

Mostly items are for women but I found a few decent golf shirts in good condition for $7 apiece and the staff was friendly. Shopped at Progress location not Vancouver.

Amazing customer service, even better selection of mens clothing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It can often be hard to find consignment shops with quality items and a good selection but Spanky's always has great stuff. Highly recommend!

This store is clean and organized. They offer a great selection and great prices. The kind friendly staff just rounded out our lovely experience here. Much better then other cluttered, over priced consignment shops.

I tried on a shirt and I ended up not wanting it so I put it back on the clothing rack. Next thing you know when I am shopping at Walgreens an employee comes up to me and asks me where shirt I tried on was and made me come back to the store to look for it by the time we get back another employee has already found it. So maybe instead of assuming I stole a shirt look a little better first. They lost my business for that one

My first visit was the worst first impression. The children's clothes had stains that showed me the apparel wasn't checked...these weren't stains that couldn't be washed out! Prices were way over the top, some more expensive then the item brand new! Will never visit again.

For $112.00 I purchased 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of capri's, a pair of shorts, 2 sweaters, 3 casual shirts, 3 dressy shirts, a jacket and a pair of shoes. Several of these Items had the original tags still on them so I felt like I got a good deal. That being said I'd call my over all experience, UNPLEASANT. The dressing rooms are dark and dirty with holes in the wall where the hooks have been broken off. There's no 3 way mirror and again....it's dark. They must have a high rate of theft because they are clingy and hawk-eyed in this area as well. The girls who work there are young, snotty and down right rude.

October 5th is National consignment day! and Spanky's is one of the best consignment stores in our area. A local gem for great bargains. Love this place!

This is my absolute go-to for clothes! From kids to the husband and I, there are always great options and deals. I started consigning about a year ago and love that I have credit on my account every time I shop. I went to get a dressy outfit for an upcoming event and I couldn t decide on just one...so I bought 3!!!
Sure helps to have orange tags that got me an added 50% off! I have yet to visit the Vancouver location, but I hear great things.
The owner, staff and other shoppers are always fantastic to be around. I wish I could give it more than just 5 stars.
p.s. It s worth also noting how much this store contributes locally to schools and other organizations. Always #shopsmall....it pays to take care of the local small businesses

I have been shopping at Spanky's since it first opened downtown. I love this store. This weekend I went in and spent $75.00 The employee was so rude to both me and another customer. She told me that giving me my points was not a priority. Last month I did not get my points either because the system was down. I know that customer service use to be great, but not anymore.

Great selection and prices. People there are very helpful and super friendly.

I have been both a customer AND a consignor here for about 10 years, and I can say that these gals do a fabulous job! I frequently find a treasure of clothing at reasonable price when I visit, and I always bring a few things for them to look through - it's a win-win. They are choosy about what they take, so don't get ruffled if they don't take your prized neon leggings from 1989.
Life gets expensive, go to Spanky's to save (or make!) some dough.

I've brought in mainly DKNY,INC,JonesNY, and other good brands-much better than most of the stuff on the racks and better condition. However, the staff prices these like-new items for $7 (Only one of the older ladies prices them right)- the same as the worn and cheap ones on the racks...why would you underprice items(you lose money and so does the consignor)=when I question a price,they usually tell me that it isn't a hot seller...a like-new $40-$50(price I paid)shirt of a high-end brand won't sell unless you price it at $7? It would be a bargain at $15.Also I've had quite a few "missing"items this year(brand new with tags)-I was told that was the hazard of doing business. I found a website called "tradesy"online-they take 9%(not 60% like Spankys)...

Gave 2 huge bags got told id get paid when they sell which is weird but ok 5 years later.... nothing and so my clothes and money wont ever be going there rather give to goodwill

The prices are ridiculously high for being a second hand clothing store. Plus their customer service is not very great and their price tags are messed up. The lady in front of me had a half off item that the employees clearly put on the item but was then told that it is not a half off item and would have to pay full price. My items were also ringing up wrong. It was very unorganized. Most likely will not return. I can find better clothing and prices at Goodwill.

I get very irritated every time I come here. I bring in very expensive clothes in good condition and they always give them back. The clothes I bring in are way better brands and quality then what they have in stock. I think they need to revise their system. Then you have to wait while they sort through your clothes and get no cash that day like at Platos Closet. I brought in 4 pairs of $200 jeans and never got a penny from it. They never send you a letter with your balance or call you. You can't even check it over the phone. The website is a joke. You can't even create an account without going in the store or calling. Get with the program! Spanky's is a waste of time and a rip off!!!

This is a cute little consignment shop. Quality of clothing can be hit or miss and some of the prices can be high but I have scored a couple of cute things there and they do have sales at the beginning of each month and halfway through each month in addition to being able to get in store credit by bringing things in if they take them. They do have some Boutique and brand name items but most of it is Macys, Old Navy, Croft & Barrow and brands like that. They do also have some purses up front and a clearance section in the back as well as a room to try on your selections.

Very friendly employees! The selection of clothes is fantastic. They are very picky about what they accept but when you are shopping there you want good quality.

I enjoy shopping at Spanky's and being able to get great clothes at very reasonable prices. Did my first consignment yesterday and am hoping for a positive outcome in cash or trade-in value
