Was heavenly.. like a paradise hidden away..definitely going again..

Carry towel, food, drinks/water and money to tip the entertaine.

Amazing vibe to this place. If you are looking to chill away from the normal tourist traps in Jamaica, this is the spot.

The Old Spanish Bridge isn't really a tourist site, its just a bridge on the white river. No admission, no guides no one bothering you. What you do get is a few locals willing to show you the rope swing and where to swing from, so give them a tip. A refreshing, beautiful location on the White River. It's just a little bit further up the road from The Blue Hole. Definitely worth a visit.

I had an amazing time there. It's a hidden treasure. The road to the bridge is narrow and bumpy. Plus there aren't any signs pointing to the bridge but I do know you have to go pass Chukka Tours. I only had one bag encounter with one of the locals other than that the vibe is nice. If one of the locals decide to help you swing off the bridge etc a nice gesture would leave a tip.

Other than that jumping off the bridge was one of the most exciting thing I've ever done.

The water is incredible. Best sure to jump off the bridge, with a life jacket if you can't swim

It was lovely there but the water was very cold and the locals are friendly as well.

It is a really great chill and relaxing spot to go with your family or friends. I went with a group of friends and had a great time. There is the bridge in which you can jump off of, or you a can even swing from it... There is also a smaller deck in which you can dive into the water from.

If you are someone who prefers the shallow then here is perfect for you as this river also has a shallow part.

One suggestion... Bring water shoes as the stones in the water can be very sharp and rough.

It can get crowded and the roads to get there are very narrow and rough.... but it's a very nice spot to chill out and have a swim

Beautiful spot in Ocho Rios a must see. Quiet with a few vendors that cook and rent lifejackets. You can jump from the bridge or swing from the Rope over the deep blue hole . It's about 30 min drive from A1 highway past the White River rafting trips keep right all the way there.

Local tour guide 'Shango' will jump with you off the bridge or will push you on the swing over the river. Take food and a cooler and go with friends!

Old Spanish Bridge is unique in many many ways. It is not a business location. It is one of the few truly beautiful locations that is free to access, maintained and clean, and you feel relaxed and safe while being there.

It sometimes can become overcrowded if you are unlucky, but most times you will feel like you are in your own slice of paradise. Shango, a local from the area offers to set you up with anything you need for a tip, and puts on an areal rope swing show at your request, or sometimes randomly when he desires.

Old Spanish Bridge is a bridge the crosses the river. There is an old tree that stands beside the tree and provides just enough shade for the entire area. The water is magically blue and clear and some parts are very deep.

You can rope swing off the bridge and jump into the water, which is very fun ! Also makes for great pictures and videos to share.
