Sovereign Staffing Group Review

Very fast to get hired on which was nice, the liaison for sovereign was awesome, however, when working as a temp through them at a site that was suppose to be nursing mother friendly, I quickly found out other wise. I was told that there was a special room just for nursing mom's, which was true. But due to the fact that I had to stop and pump my numbers weren't where they wanted regardless of the situation. I was doing my job correctly ensuring quality control like the job trainers taught, but the people who got hired on permanently were the ones who wouldn't do it right. After working with both Jet and sovereign I will not work for either again, and will never order anything from jet because I'm not paying for broken merchandise because the workers don't care about their quality in work. Also, it took me over a month to get my last check, and it's only because I wrote down every clock in and clock out time, which I recommend to anyone working with these guys.

Sonya was great to work with. Was very easy to get hired with my background. Would recommend this company.

Please do not waste your valuable time during this pandemic on a company that does pay their employees fair nor does their payroll system seems logic. I normally don t even write reviews but I had to on this situation l.

If I could rate this company lower than one star I would. I called a few minutes ago and spoke with a man because I have not been paid for last weeks work. I asked him what was going on and he states that there was a change in payroll which is fine, then goes on to mention that I will be getting a paper check. I was not notified about this at all. When I asked him why weren t there emails sent out about this he got rude and and said that he s not going to argue with me about it and they ll just mail my check and hung up the phone! I m highly disappointed and irritated with this staffing agency. It took nearly two months to get on direct deposit and then a week later they re telling me I have to get a paper check. It s a complete inconvenience seeing how I m in the National Guard at my drill weekend 1 hour and 45 mins away from Olathe, Kansas. Do not waste your time!

Place is a joke. Been calling and asking for job openings and they never give a straight answer. Horrible at doing their jobs. If i were you i would find a different servicer.

Sovereign Staffing is the most professional temp agency I have worked for. They have lots of jobs to fit your abilities. They are friendly, paitent,helpful. The jobs they have to offer are temp to hire you don't have to worry about being let go from slow work. I've seen some reviews mentioning the paychecks I have personally had a check that was messed up and they quickly made things right. Everyone makes mistakes. You have to think they staff hundreds of employees.
My recruiter was Sonya. she is very nice but also I've had the pleasure to meet with Dallas and William (higher management for sovereign) they are both very friendly and care about you job placement. If you have any problems they are open to talk about the situation.

I wanted to just share my own experience but reading through the other reviews, I need to put in my 2 cents. If you are a competent human being who actually works hard, that actually takes time to garner respect, then this is a good staffing agency. I've worked 3 times with them and would work a 4th and will if the need arises.

Would I talked too susan I told her bout a possible job I might get but she told me too come in and interview which I did...... got the position there and then she called me sunday too touch base with me bout starting monday then I told her got other job..... I just talked too Dallas bout another position and he said I burned bridges and could not help me thats what you get being honsst....

Great company to work for! Friendly environment and everyone is willing to help each other out in order to improve the company. The recruiters are very helpful and offer assistance to anyone who has the desire to work hard.

+Incompetence; inability to do something successfully; ineptitude. This totally explains this company. Go anywhere but here. They will not get your pay right, period! When you get frustrated over this, you will be let go. Deal with them at your own risk. You've been warned.

Very unprofessional my son worked for this company for a short period of time. Which was a horrible experience it took nearly 2 months for him to receive his check. After the company mailed it to the wrong address and attempted to charge him for their mistakes! Horrible company to work for!

Sovereign Staffing Group is a great company to work for. Everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond even when there are issues to be solved. Sovereign Staffing always has multiple job options and when they don't they keep information to call as soon as they have positions. 5 Stars for sure!

Unprofessional, scam artists, constantly recruiting and will mass hire anyone then wait 2 weeks and fire everyone claiming "assignment ended". Read the fine print of their contract!!! They keep your money and ingores calls and act as if they dont know you. No explanations then come up with bogus reasons to justify themselves. Do not waste your time with this company.

When it says I get payed on a Friday, I expect to have my check in my hand Friday. No, I wasted gas and time because they mail the check to your address, even if they have it in their possession, they won't give it to you. Not only that but then they said we have wait untill 2pm to pick it up. Five days later I get my check in the mail. This would be ok and fine, but I was relying on that check to be in my possession come Friday, I have bills to pay, no I had to pay a late fee because I wasn't able to pay it on time due to them not handing over a check that I earned in MY name. I don't play games, if and when I do, it's a PlayStation, not with a nobody trying to tell me that I have to wait six hours to pick up a check for money I worked for. Uncalled for and unappreciated. I was then told that they cant doing anything, to go somewhere else and get a job. I'll happily go elsewhere, because they don't hold my paycheck hostage like this place. They also charge YOU $25 for every background check they do.

If I could give a zero I would. After working for nearly a week there, I am still waiting to get paid. I will be contacting the BBB as well as the Department of Labor. I was told in order to cancel the check that was supposed to be mailed days ago that I have yet to receive, that I would have to pay $35 ppl PLEASE stay away from this company they are frauds and crooked as hell.

When I applied for a job Sovereign Staffing had posted, Susan and Dallas had me come in right away to speak with them. I went through the whole process and they assured me I would hear back from them in a few days. However, I didn't so I went to someone else and they had the very same job opportunity that Sovereign had. I applied there and got the job two days later. So, I am not sure what Sovereign is looking for but intelligent, smart-working individuals must not be it.

If you go to Olathe, Kansas location, request Adam Hartman to set you up. He s an extremely nice and laid back man that will listen to your wants and needs in a job and choose something that will work best for you and the schedule you desire. I was offered a few jobs that didn t fit my schedule and he checked 3 times with different places to find me the hours and pay I was looking for. And he will work with you after you have the job as well if you need schedule adjustments and changes. He takes the time to check up with you on how the job went, if it fits what you re looking for, and genuinely cares about the people he works with. I never spoke with anyone but him so idk how the other employers are but from my recommendation go to him! he ll take the time to work with you no matter who you are.

Great knowledgeably staff! My recruiter was great. He is available every time I call or text no matter the time. Really makes you feel like more than just a number. Keep it up!

Needed an in between gig for an unexpected change in employment. Yes I had to grunt through the paces for a few months but the job turned out to be better than my job I went back to , so I stayed and went full time. My recruiter Dana was always accommodating for any situation and really it is because of her I have an amazing job at Power Sales in Lenexa Ks

If you can stick it out and stay motivated you will definately land employment for something you like ( I am sure it always doesn t work out but that s any job ).

Worst experience with a temp agency ever. Very unorganized and they care NOTHING about the employees !

Worst employer ever. I worked diligently for them for 2 months and they pay me back by firing me a week before Christmas. I would NOT recommend working for them, they don't care about anyone they employ. Even when they called to fire me there was no remorse. It was more of an office space moment "And if you could just not come into work tomorrow, that would be great."

I went to my interview this afternoon and was hired on the spot for a full time position that's close to my home!! Fast, easy process and my recruiter Susan answered all of my questions and then some. Susan and the rest of the staff were great and I'm excited to start work at my new job on Thursday morning. Highly recommend this agency!

Terrible wouldn't even work there in between job. They don't care and do no communicate with employees. Dallas the vice president of Olathe branch thinks he's better than everyone else. 0 STARS. They released me on Thursday then said can't get my check Friday cause there being sent in mail. The whole office is confused there self.

Worked for them last year and this year at the Jet in Shepherdsville, KY location. Last year, no issues with Carlos R. leading the team. This year, however, they didn t set up payroll on time and they didn t stand up for me when John (Donut Night ICQA Lead,) gave false info about me having Time-Off-Task even though I had the 7th highest pick rate in the building two nights in a row and walked me out twice. Andrea with nights is the best Sovereign has to offer besides Clyde who they fired. Stay away unless you wanna wait for a paycheck and be thrown under the bus...

Awesome group of recruiters! I had Vonnie and she works her tail off. Very professional and knows how to handle things like a professional, very impressed.

Never again. I walked out after working on Walmart assignment (modern day slavery) because there was no "clock in info" even though I was there for days which I feel like you should get on your first day. You are suppose to just be there and work and hope they pay you because they "see you" there. No I want my money or don't waste my time. If I wanted work for free I would sign up for charity work. This is the most unprofessional company I've ever seen. But they are in for a rude awakening coming to Atlanta thinking they aren't gonna pay people because they will come up on some drama like they wouldn't believe. We don't play that here. Its all about the money.

I worked for them and my car broke down they never told me that they take out $25.00 if you quit working for them there is alot of stuff they charge you for if you stop working for the they don't tell you that your checks will be mailed if you have to leave the job or anything bad for business.

All paperwork easy to fill out and extremely great staff

I worked for them a couple years ago: stole two weeks pay from me.

Very professional. I can just not say enough good things. I was unemployed for over a month filling out application after application and Shelby my recruiter was able to get my placed into a position in within 2 days of me calling her. Every time I have ever had to talk to anyone in the corporate office they are so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Sovereign Staffing to anyone looking for a job they love, not just another paycheck.

One star is too generous because the idiots who represent and work for this company don't care about your money or way of living .. I never been lied too and conned as much as this company does. The recruiter Dallas is lazy and Ignorant .. you will never see him but he's a clown who represents this lame company. The shuttle driver employeed through this agency fell asleep behind the wheel while taking five employees to work and not a thing was done about it even after lives were put at risk. I will make sure this company goes down quick.

So helpful and got me hired on right away! The people who leave 1 star reviews are the ones who show up on the first day and quit or get fired and try to blame Sovereign for getting fired. Great place. Great people. If you re looking for a job, they ll get you hired.

Not bad company just don t understand why they moved our payday to Monday s kinda sets back people lives also don t expect holiday pay are pay for Orientation if they staff you jet

The people at Sovereign were extremely helpful, and expedient with responses. They went out of their way to answer any questions, and were efficient with doing paperwork.

I definitely recommend them as the agency they are.

Better staffing agencies this one has the worst recruiters

It was such a pleasure working with Dana! She took the time to truly take care of me through every step in the process. Her professionalism and kindness deserves to be commended! I would recommend Sovereign Staffing (and Dana especially!!) to any of my friends and family.

If you value being a human being and getting paid then I would run from this place just saw an ad on tv and for hiring in warehouse and these guys are ruthless you see the reviews saying you won t get paid but idiots still go here for work thinking it will be different with them I need a job bad to but I don t have time to waste either got a family to care for no time for being scammed. When I addressed them about their horrible reviews this was the response I got. I found out the name of the company after I went through a battle just to find out the hourly wage. Looked them up addresses it their response was the government has not shut them down yet so basically oh well! Needs new management and organization skills

Obviously they have a problem with paying people so we shall fix that problem. BBB will hear of them as well as the department of labor.

I had a great experience with this company Vonnie Mitchell was great, knowledgeable, and helpful. No problems here. I would go back to them again and refer anyone whos looking for a job.

It has now been almost a week and I still have not received my last check from them. They have no explanation for it taking as long as it has. Their only excuse is that they have no control over the post office and how things are delivered. With intentions on using that check to make my car payment. My car is now turned off until they receive payment. I would not recommend Sovereign Staffing to anyone.

I love this staffing company they make sure they get the right fit for you when it come to a job and a big thank you to Sonya ybarra for all her help and hard work to help me.

Three weeks and still haven't got paid. No once will respond to my voicemail or answer the phone. Update I warned people on Facebook about them and Mark talked smack blocked me and I called him now he's gonna try to get me fired.

Do not communicate at all with each other with the employees nobody, super unprofessional.

As a military spouse, retired military who is working a 48 to 60 hour a week job, I was sent a text that not only passed on me for a role, but the note contained a personal insult to my work ethic while doing all that on top of teaching my daughter at home. Never in my life has someone questioned or insulted my work ethic/ intestinal fortitude; more so from someone who doesn't even know me. I took a picture and plan on keeping that text in case others would like to see how insulting their team really is.

I truly can't believe how unprofessional these people are and truly hope all the other people they take for granted will also speak up. So happy I will not be working with such an unprofessional outfit.
