Have to get new staff that is alive. Front desk girl is very cold and not helpful at all. Almost need a prybar to get any answers from her. Very rude

Why do I rate them 5 stars because every detail of every task they have done for me came out on top without any hassle at all

I will begin by saying that Dr. Amini is FANTASTIC!!! The X-Ray technician is as well! Five stars for the two of them. However, the office staff could clearly use some assistance. They will take well over a week to call after anything - I waited a week and a half after being told by Dr. Amini that I needed an MRI before they actually sent the insurance approval to Radiology Ltd for them to schedule it with me. I called my insurance and they said they already approved it and it was an issue to take up with the doc's office. Now, over a week AFTER my MRI, I'm still waiting for them to schedule me for a follow-up appointment. I just called the office and the lady told me someone will have to check their fax to see if they received it and then the doc has to review it. Considering I, as a patient, was able to see my report and images almost a week ago on the Radiology Ltd website, I'm positive the doc's office has already received them. Nothing like going from actue pain to chronic pain due to office staff incompetence. Also, I can agree with many others regarding an atmosphere of unprofessionalism. After an MA left my exam room, he went out and made comments about my weight to the PA...yes, I am 160 lbs, and yes, I am 5'3". Prior gymnast and swimmer and currently a size 4. Why he felt the need to discuss that in such a manner is beyond me and even as a 28 year old, it still hit me pretty hard - just a basic rudeness and lack of common decency. All of that being said, if you want an AMAZING doc, go see Amini...just be prepared to shuffle through some of the things I and others have written on our reviews.

Had a lot of doctors some good some bad. Dr. Haywood is a good one. Now I need surgery on my right knee and will go back to them.

This office is closed. They keep erroneously sending me a bill for money I do not owe. I didn't start getting the bill until after the office was permanently closed. Every time I try to call the number on the bill which is also the office number I get a message saying the mailbox is full. So... great. Some final attempt to get money or bad office management in absentia!

Dr Haywood and his staff are very unprofessional. I've overheard sexual innuendo while waiting in the room by his staff. I've been called to have my apt canceled 3 times in the past month and a half, and rescheduling is quite a chore, waiting on the phone 10 minutes just to get the receptionist. In addition, the billing system messed up the coding on the surgery I had, and the claim got denied at first. To further dirty the reputation of this establishment, I've had to wait an hour in the room just to see the Dr - and this was an 8 oclock apt!

My husband's hip has been bothering him for years after a sports injury. After going to a series of other doctors for years and being dismissed routinely as "the problem isn't bad enough to operate," we just felt so discouraged and not to mention my husband was in continuous pain to the point where it was impacting his ability to work. When we moved to Tucson, we researched surgeons and Dr. Kiarash was able to get us in the quickest for a consultation within 2 weeks. We showed Dr. Kiarash my husband's x-rays and immediately he diagnosed the issue, showed us where the damage was, and that indeed my husband was a candidate for three different surgical options to repair his hip. The Dr. took the time to walk us through the various options, including showing us different models of the procedures so we could look at them. He booked my husband for an MRI right away and said he would need to review the MRI before determining what surgical route to take. The MRI was done a week later and the week after that Dr. Kiarash went over the options again and my husband's circumstances noting that the two least invasive procedures could not be done due to advanced deterioration of the hip bone. In the end, my husband, in his 40's, required a total hip replacement. The news shocked us, but we were in great hands with Dr. Kiarash. I feel so thankful that he got my husband in for surgery within the month and now my husband is recovering well. Dr. Kiarash was warm, kind, knowledgeable and we are so thankful for him, Veronica, and all the staff at Southwest Orthopaedic for making my husband a priority and finally taking care of his injury. Thank you again. I can't give Dr. Kiarash and his team enough praise.

My wife was a patient of Doctor Norris and was very pleased with the care she received. The whole office was very professional and very pleasant at all times. Doctor Norris and his PA Kimberly expressed great concern and answered any of our questions with great care. We have recommend Doctor Norris already to a friend. Doctor Norris was the doctor on call at an ER and we are so glad he was.

MONEY TALKS. After spending over $100.000.00 on surgeries on my husband's leg. I finally have insurance and the good Dr. won't see him due to a past due invoice. The office didn't even have the common courtesy to inform us of this prior to our appointment!!!!!!!

I'm having the same problem. Received an erroneous bill (total it says I owe is greater than the total charges, plus wrong insurance company billed) and all I get when I dial the phone number on the bill is a message saying the mailbox is full.

I have been a patient for several years.

I have always received excellent care.

One problem is the waiting times.

I am an elite athlete and Dr. Amini was recommended as a specialist to see. He is on top of patient care. I felt that he really listened to me and took time to ask questions and make recommendations. He called me back himself for follow-up information, and is very efficient in ordering scans and giving results when done in office. I don't sports physicians easily but he has been impressive so far.

Accompanied a patient to an appointment here and could not believe how dry and miserable the front waiting room staff was. Placing phone calls on hold for no reason at all....never once did either of the girls smile. Both had drag queen makeup on, not to mention they talked about the patients when they would walk away from the desk. Terrible terrible terrible!!

I am thrilled with the care I have received from Dr. Amini. Two years ago I had a serious fracture on my left humerus and although my first surgeon did an excellent job on the surgery, the staff at the other clinic ignored my complaints that my arm was stuck and my range of motion was very limited. They just kept telling me everything looked good and do more physical therapy. After two years of not being able to do my work, I finally made an appt with Dr. Amini and he recommended surgery again. I was hesitant because the past two years had been discouraging but I went ahead and did it. For the first time in two years, I am extremely optimistic about my recovery. Already, less than two weeks after my surgery, my range of motion is better than it has been since the injury. Dr. Amini and his surgical staff were excellent and followed up with me post surgery. I feel like all my concerns were addressed and taken seriously here.

The Dr. was fantastic. Operated on my son's foot and staff was very polite. Only issue is they are always behind schedule. If you make an appointment make sure you plan on waiting an hour to see Doctor. Very frustrating.

From the Front Desk, to the X-Ray Technician everyone was very pleasant and friendly as for Dr. Amini he is professional and shows true concern for your problem.

I have seen Domingo Cheleuitte, M.D. several times over the past couple months for a Shoulder Injury I was sent for xrays, MRI and Dr Cheleuitte injected my shoulder. When the injection didn't work and surgery is needed Dr Cheleuitte informed me he is a General Ortho Doctor and is unable to preform the surgery needed. Wow, i had to pay a co-pay for this!!!! I feel very mislead and taken advantage of. My healthcare and well being was placed behind his / Southwest Orthopedic Surgery Specialists, PLC financial gain! I should of been informed upfront that he was unable to preform a surgery if needed. I would not recommend. Very shady operation!! no pun intended..

I would not recommend scheduling or having any appointments with their PA there, Tim. He does not know what he is talking about and I always am sorry to have met with him, as I typically then get the opposite information from Dr. Kirash. Dr. Kirash himself is very professional and I have not had a problem.
