Beautiful grounds and beautiful inside as well. Excellent selection in both books and audio books. Bathrooms are clean and very nice. You can renew online and it's very easy to get a library card.

I think very little of the live oak library that they won't let visitors use their computers for free -- but require a $12 fee, which gives people a 6 month pass to use the computers. Some visitors may only be in town 1 or 2 days and don't want to pay that, nor should they have to. I think it's very stingy and inhospitable of them to have this policy. Most states' libraries are very hospitable to visitors and let them use their computers free, even every day -- and these libraries are as nice (if not nicer) than the the live oak libraries are -- with even better hours of operation (like 9 a.m. to 9 p. m.). Live oak libraries doesn't rank high compared to other libraries, and their stingy, inhospitable attitude towards visitors not being allowed to use the computers for free is not nice.

I've been coming to this branch ever since it first opened. My whole family loves it here, and we've come to know the staff as family. They're knowledgeable and friendly, and there's tons of books to choose from.

Voting is important and I am not going on a political rant, but I do want to thank the Southside Library for allowing us to use their facilities. They maintain their area and even though I had to wait, the library grounds were very pretty and well maintained.

Many resources for studying. Books, periodicals and of course a computer lab. Very nice area outside under trees to enjoy. Staff are always helpful. Lots of enrichment programs for the community. Nice place to read.

I love that there's a wide selection and at first I had no problem with the service...but this is the second week in a row where I've turned in a book into the book drop off and it didn't process or something because now the library is fining me $2 overdue for a book I know for a FACT I turned in. Fix and I'd rate 5 stars

Whether I am trying to track down and secure new books from favorite authors or am in need of emergency printing in the computer room ... the staff at this library are altogether the most professional and personally engaging folk that I have ever met.

I went here to vote early for the election! The line moved pretty fast, there are plenty of trees so its shaded while you wait. There were people who brought chairs to sit in while in line but it's not really needed.

Most of the southwest staff is very nasty. Particularly the one with the short haircut and long clothes. She does not need to work with the public. What a miserable grope she is. Why is she even there?
