Had a used truck listed for 30k on 2 different websites (cargurus and Mac haik) so I spoke to the guy confirming availability and ended up applying for financing. The next day they call me saying the truck was 43k, that someone messed up on the listing... twice lol. What a joke! Thanks for wasting my time :)

If I could rate my most recent experience lower than one star I would. To start off the warranty service individual that I worked with was one of the most rude individuals I had ever encountered. I understand I may be a young woman and may not completely know cars but being the owner of my vehicle and being the one who drives it every day when I realize it s making a noise I know what I m talking about. I took my focus in for a grinding noise it just started making and when I picked it up after they said the issue was fixed I drove home and once again and heard the noise multiple times. When I contacted the service department they advised me to bring the vehicle back in and when I met with Duane again to describe the issue he seemed more than annoyed with having to deal with me again and felt that it was okay for him to just yank my car keys out of my hand and say let s take a drive to hear the noise. When I took it in I advised him that the noise was only happening when the car was hitting second gear and then it would stop. Well when we were going for a drive to show him the noise he said okay so we need to be going highway speeds correct and I answered no that s not the case and reiterated when it was happening we didn t even leave the parking lot of southway and he heard the noise and told us that oh that s the noise you are talking about to which I answered yes that was the noise. So we parked the car and Duane said he was positive it was just something rubbing my tire and that s why the noise was present which made absolutely no sense. So we waited inside for about 25 minutes until he came to speak with us saying that he went on a ride with two technicians and they advised that the noise was normal and he gave some literature to read regarding the noise and they said there was nothing more that could be done. The literature provided states the grinding noise should be happening at 2 mph which is not the case. I know this is a long review but I would suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere when you have an issue with it. Also I don t recommend purchasing a Ford Focus. In the less than 4 years that I have had mine the clutch mechanism has been changed twice, and they ve had to replace and issue with my steering. In all those times I ve taken it only ONE person has been helpful.

This is hands down the worst dealership to deal with. I bought an car from them in March. The car was basically a lemon cause it literally stayed in the shop for repairs every Monday-thursday just so I could have it on the weekends to keep finding out it wasn't fixed. This cycle lasted for 4 months! The only thing they did right was pay the 1st car payment cause they had it in the shop longer than I was able to actually use the car. Than they started taking my car to an Dodge dealership for repairs and given me an warranty that they failed to put on file my car cause of an "clerical error" or better yet not doing their job. Do not trust or deal with LEO (used lot), FRANK (main dealership) or Charlie (who simply don't know how to do his job at all!) Go anywhere else but SW MAK HAIK FORD SAN ANTONIO THE WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!

Awesome experience. Spoke with Tito for awhile about the purchase of a new F250. Gentleman was very kind & welcoming. walked me around and showed me all the pickups i wanted to see and even some i didn't even know about.

I was very honest with Tito and told him i wasn't looking to buy today or even this year, but that was no problem to him he still took his time to show all Mac had to offer. When I'm ready for that big investment I'm going to go see Tito at Southway Ford.

I went in expecting to purchase a used vehicle. I didn't even want to consider a new vehicle thinking it was out of my price range. Ricky Ramirez took the time to give me all of my options and was never pushy. I ended up getting a brand new car that I LOVE and can afford. He even took the time to make sure I knew how everything worked and was set up properly as far as connecting the blue tooth with my phone, etc. I highly recommend Mac Haik's Southway Ford.

I came in to look at a truck. They let me do an extended test drive. Then I get a call from a bank stating that they reported a substantially larger income than what I told them I make. Which now has screwed me out of the financing for the house I was trying to buy. Thank you all at southway ford. I would never do business with this company. They need their dealer license revoked!!!!!! On top of all that they pulled my credit 27 times after I told them I had financing. Which in turn screwed up my credit!!!!

Bought a brand new vehicle and started having issues with it. On multiple occasions the car turned off in the middle of the road and wouldn t turn on until after a few minutes. Brought it in and have been waiting over two hours. Went to the service counter to get an update and they said there is something else wrong with it and it probably won t be fixed today. I asked if I could get a loaner vehicle and was told no because I didn t purchase the extended warranty! This is ridiculous!!

2018 Ford Explorer undercarriage Is FULL OF RUST - for a brand new car with 23 miles that is so unacceptable! My parents are in thier 70 s and that has been thier dream - well it s turned out to be a HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE! Ford or the general managers here made promises they did not keep .
They want to say it s SURFACE rust and will not affect the safety of the car - okay - would YOU like to be given a brand new car with this amount of rust - it clearly diminishes the value ! Yes I have pictures - lots of them - that FORD refused to look at ! They only went by what the Gen Manager told him - and he had made up his minute we walked out the door .
Such a bad experience that has left a bad taste for this dealership AND FORD

Worse place I came to. I came to get my truck inspected do to my ac not working, as I was talking to the service tech they informed me that I did not have warranty. I do not like to be told that I have no warranty coverage when I pay EXTRA every month for it .. (I know I had got the warranty, when I bought the truck they offered me the ultra telling me it s the best one.) This place has bad customer service took up most of my day for them to tell me I do not have warranty.. I will no longer come back for them to keep Going back and forth with me. It s was hard for myself to stay calm and bite my tongue, for them to keep telling me I m wrong!! I spoke with finance and he printed out my warranty packages I took that to service tech and they told me it s a 50/50 chance it will not cover. Why am I paying for warranty when I can not even use it. I m extremely disappointed that i can not get my ac fix and had to drive off with my ac broken. Unexceptable and highly disappointed!
Red McCombs and their service department have consistently given me the worst service possible. Their Zero communication and a lack of respect are not the just poor employee performance, but the results of poor management and implementation of their protocols/procedures that revolve around making the most profit instead of doing what s right.

This is my favorite Ford dealership! The customer service is exceptional, and not just for those buying a new vehicle. Every time I have my vehicle serviced I am greeted with a helpful tech who attempts to get me back on the road as soon as possible. Every oil change I get a detailed assessment of my vehicle so I am prepared for the next service date and more importantly, to avoid me being stranded on the road. I called before I went there and set an Appointment up. I had recently bought a used truck that they didn't know the door code and brnad new size 35 were on it and making my speedometer off. I asked over the phone what the cost of hooking up the Computer to my truck and telling me the door code. They advised me it would be $40. I also asked what the cost would be for calibrating my Speedometer, they advised me that it would be $120. He went into more detail of why it cost so much, changing tire size, transmission shifting, etc. When I arrived for my appointment, they said they were able to get me the door code but that they do not do speedometer calibration and have not done that for a while. I was not happy when every where I went told me Ford is the only one that can do it and after them telling me on the phone that they would versus arriving for my appointment and advising me that they don't do that anymore! Apparently, there needs to be a lot better communication at Ford!

We spent an entire day there, a whole day, and they were unable to help us until the last 1/2 hour before closing only to LIE about everything we discussed, from payments to costs to down payment amount. Our sales guy was swapped without our consent and we were told we had no choice but to accept the new guy. Then they swapped cars on us at the very end of the deal and gave us wrong vin numbers for insurance. They lied about total costs and forced us to skip car detail because everything was closed. After posting an honest review they offered a bribe to ask us to lie about our experience. Worst customer service ever.

I took my 2016 Ford Fusion to get the Works Vehicle Check Up. I also mentioned that the rear driver side tire was low, the attendant told me that since the Works Vehicle Check Up, offers tire rotation, they would check it for leaks. After the work was done, I paid almost $50. A week later, the same tire has a leak, and I realized that the tires didn't get rotated. So, that's the second time that those great technicians, like the SouthWay ford adds states that they have, have been paid to not do their job, and the service attendants lie to us by saying that the car is "good to go". I'm fed up with the work from a dealership that I used to have to so much faith in. THANKS A LOT!!!!

From engine work that never was actually done they claim did get done, to oil changes and tire rotation, I have never been lied to- bold face- so many times in one day. Took my car in for service, which lasted for 3 days. I was only contacted once about what was going on with my car.
I was going through my warranty program so I needed to know when they were going to begin working on the vehicle so I could be given a rental. I had to be the one consistantly calling the service rep, who was neve there, and it wasnt until day 3 that I was notified what was going on. By this time the car had been worked on for a at least 24 hr.
The whole experience was more bothersome than anything else. No communication. I felt like I had to be the service rep. Calling my warranty and trying to get updates on the vehicle.

It is with great pleasure that I thank Mak Haiks Southway Ford and Amando Carrasco for the excellent service he rendered during the purchase of my 2020 Ford Fusion SE. I had looked long and hard at Ford Dealerships within the San Antonio, TX area but because of his expertise and excellent communication abilities I chose Mak Haiks Southway Ford. Mando made the purchase of my new Ford easy from picking the right vehicle for me, ironing out all details including financing and all the other minor details. All I was required to do is show up at the dealership, pick one of two vehicles Mando had selected for me, sign the financing paper work and drive away. To say Mando did great is an understatement and I will refer my friends that are in the market for a car to him. When the next time comes for a new vehicle for me I will be calling Mando first.

I traded in an almost 11 year old Ford Focus this past Monday. It had a little over 117,000 miles on it and had to be the best car I've ever owned. Like many of us, our jobs are demanding and must meet deadlines and other critical criteria. I took the car in to Mack Haik Ford when the necessary preventive maintenance was due. During the time that I owned this car, I had it towed 2 times. Both for dead battery only. I never had to have it towed for any other problems and I drove 60 miles a day round trip for work. You take care of it and it will take care of you. I traded it in on a new 2015 Focus. It had just a few miles on it and I felt so "at home" when I sat down in it to take a test drive. Of course, my main concern for getting a new car was to have the assurance of getting to where I need to go on time even though I'm retired. Since I'm 5' 1" tall, I needed something that I can see over the hood to judge distance. This car is all power and I love the power seats, and the automatic door locks for safety purposes. Very important. I wasn't planning on getting all of the "bells and whistles" when I first went in. But after looking at a few different models, I decided I had worked many years using my cars mainly for work so I decided to treat myself to something with more features and I did. Now I hope to be using it for some short-distance traveling. The car I traded in was my third Focus and they were all great cars.
I was truly pleased with the salesman, Jessie Gonzales. He was not demanding and I mean that. He knew what I wanted and what I felt was best for me in this time of my life and was so helpful in assisting me to meet my needs. I just went window shopping and came home with a car that I'm really happy with.
The admin person was excellent in processing all of the paperwork, and was so helpful in explaining all of the extra options. He, too, knew what I was selecting was best for me. When I spoke to my son, he also agreed that I got the best car and options for me, so I knew everything went very well. I ended up with a few "bells and whistles" that I had not planned on, but now I feel like I'm rewarding myself for all of those years that I worked. Thank you, everyone, at Ford.

I have been bringing our vehicles for many years. My daughter took our 2011 Ford Edge for oil change and request to rotate the tires. One tire was fixed for slow leak. She reminded the service man twice. She even brought this up to Carlos and he promised to get her the service. Made her wait another 45 minutes and again tires were never rotated. She was at the service center for 5 hours for an oil change and no tire rotation. However, she did pay for the full service. Carlos promised to take care of her next time. There will not be a next time. I have purchased two New Ford Edge SUVs but will never take our vehicles back for service. Very disappointed with the service. Also there was another customer that waited as long as my daughter for same service and guess what she did not get her tires rotated either. She commented she will never go back.

Best Auto Dealership in the San Antonio Area!! I started my car shopping journey in early August and I had been to several dealerships of all sorts all over and around San Antonio. Mac Haik Southway Ford was actually the last one on my list to visit but now wishing it had been the first one on my list! My salesman Kalahan was the most professional, most helpful, most caring salesmen I had ever worked with. The worst thing about car shopping is meeting the aggressive, overbearing, stage 5 clinger sales guys just seeing $$$ as you walk up to them instead of seeing a person! This Does Not Happen Here Y'all. Kalahan just happened to walk by me and asked if anyone had helped me. He actually was in the middle of helping another customer but STILL made me feel taken care of, answered all my questions, and honestly sold me right away. I had planned to keep looking after visiting Southway Ford and ended up cancelling all my other appointments the next day. Every single person I spoke with was awesome. I'm extremely happy with my car buying experience at Mac Haik Southway Ford, extremely appreciative to have worked with Kalahan, and I m in Love with my new Ford Focus!

Mike Radino is the quickest most concise rep I've worked with. He had all my requests handled before i arrived at the store. All paperwork and people I had to speak with lined up. Transaction was painless. He's a complete pro. I'd recommend Southway again.

Great experience my family has been doing business with southway ford for over 5 years all of our vehicles are from there. They really do know the great meaning of hospitality and customer service I was able to get into my brand new f-150 haggle free and no stress. My salesman was Cuevas great salesman really looked around for what I was wanting and didn t try to push something I didn t want on me. The finance department was great didn t take up much time and Esteban was a simple heres the best we can do and straight forward. I love coming here cause they make me feel welcomed and like I truly am like family, we will continue to do business with them for years to come we have a great relationship so long as Esteban and Cuevas are still here!

I had such a great experience. I ended up going to Mak Haik for an oil change after seeing there was a three hour wait at my original dealer. Mak Haik had given me an hour and a half wait time but it only took an hour. Soooo glad I went to Mak Haik. Carlos really took care of me and provided great customer service. I also enjoy the atmosphere. It was pleasant and comfortable. The staff was enjoying the game on tv and provided drinks for the customers. Next oil change I m going straight to Mak Haik.
