The teachers have distgusting attitudes with kids one day in Spanish the teacher told me I was wasting her time the school has a racist teacher still teaching the math teacher is always yelling at the class and gets nothing done the science teacher always calls on me but never the person I talk to maybe because I m mixed and he s white I feel mistreated and it hurts a lot But the principal and vice principal are very understanding and the counselors ask you a couple questions but are good people to talk to and very kind

I an a student attending jfk now i dont know about depaulo but overrall i am not pleased with this jkf.first of all there are a lot of disgusting teachers for example every teacher in team 7 b sucks exept for the new math teacher for example the language arts teacher in my opinion is racist because there was a kid in my class with a different skin colour and he was a pretty nice kid but he got treated like trash the la teached bad mouthed him to all the teachers and they made the year horrible for him also he was accused of lying even though he wasnt and i know this because i was with the kid when it happened the social studies teacher also sucks he is a jerk and there isnt anything else to say about him. If your child is taking a language then i reccomend that they take spanish sadly i made the mistake of taking french and i deeply regret it the french teacher thinks she is so high above every one even though she is just a demented witch with an ego as big as the sun for example once there was a highschool kid picking up his brother from the bus stop and he was holding a skateboard and he wasnt breaking any rules then the french teacher decides to get in his face and make a scene for attention she yelled you are breaking the rules if u dont leave i will contact the cops the kid simply replied go ahead im not breaking any rules and she started yelling even more just to piss of a nice highschooler trying to get his brother. Now i no i made jfk sound horrible but some teachers are decent for example mister hinman is an exeptional teacher he is great at explaining stuff and he makes math fun he is one of the only teachers accualy qualified for teaching kids.
